Rosythorns Happy New Year from the Mountain Standard Time Zone, fellow guildmates! xd *uncorks rather shook up frosty champagne bottle and promptly douses everyone with said contents* Anyone out there into resolutions? Mine is to.... not make any resolutions. Oh, would you look at that? It's the same as last year! sweatdrop That lame joke aside, I'm at a loss as to how to celebrate. I didn't get to sleep earlier like I'd planned to (so, I'm not like a boss, I guess. How sad.), and was thwarted into going to a movie with my family. Now, I'm celebrating with my sisters, whom I've just put to bed, and I'm not tired AT ALL! In fact, quite oppositely, I'm HYPER! (My mom is out on adventures with her boyfriend for the weekend, like I'd encouraged them to be a WHILE ago, so I'm happy. biggrin ) Anyone here to help me out with this strange dilemma? The dilemma being?

Happy New Years, peeps!
I love New Years Day. It's one of the only days of the year where you can strike up friendly conversations with people while walking home at 3 in the morning. 3nodding
Why can't everyone be this cheery all of ze times?

Never, Rosy, and anyone else interested, I'm gonna start a thread to discuss the Homestuck updates so we don't have to do all this whiting out. In this country, walking home in the wee hours of the morning on New Year's involves hoping you don't get your foot a-sploded off. Kids and adults alike are real idiots with their firecrackers. D: I honestly would love a tamer New Year's celebration by now. This sort of thing is amusing the first couple of times, but it gets grating several years after. Well, to me anyway.
At least I got a spectacular view of fireworks in the distance from my house. :3Dabogrl My toes are cold. Stupid winter. Stupid sensitive skin. *tries to decide if warm toes are worth the discomfort of socks*

This year, my dog was surprisingly calm about the fireworks. I think she's finally getting used to them. She turns 10 on the tenth. It's her red letter birthday. mrgreen
