Ceon hugged Layna against him as far as her stomach would let him, "Let's just go home and set up the baby's room, okay? I've had plenty of.....excitement...for one night."

Rogue felt the void calling. She herself dare not use it as her primality in her sanguinarian side would feed off it and she would easily lose control of herself. She enjoyed it though as Alasdair wrapped them both in a blanket of darkness.

Layna only nodded, her expression turning sulky. "You don't like shopping, do you?" She said, a growl in her voice. It was clear upon Ceon's face that he was not enjoying anything at the moment.

"No, as a matter of fact. Not really." Ceon took the cart and rolled it outside, but suddenly stopped when he saw Daiguren's knife in the sidewalk. He looked back at Layna with a terrified face. "Layna, we need to go, now!"

Layna stared, shocked, at the blade buried in the cement. "That would be a good idea. I do not feel like paying the piper right now." She whispered, her voice stammering with sudden fear.

Ceon grabbed Layna's hand and pushed the cart faster. He hid Layna as well as he could when he saw Rogue, the vampire elder he had once asked for help from. It would be a very bad thing if she saw Layna. "Layna, I think we're almost there."

Layna growled softly. "You do realize I'm not scared of that b*****d of a demon, right?" She asked, pulling her hand from his tight grip. She walked beside him, her gaze looking him in the face. "I was able to take care of myself before I met you, you know."

For a split second Daiguren whispered in her ear, "You should be, and you should fear for your child. when he starts to die my sight will come back." Daiguren was never seen only heard by Layna.

Ceon growled, "It's not Daiguren I'm worried about right now, it's the vampire elder across the street that I'm worried about. You would be considered a fine wine to them in your condition." Ceon clutched her hand tighter as he walked further along.

Raevyn sat on the and breathed slowly, her head hurt like hell. The noise of the city was killing her. Goose bumps covered her body, she didnt know what to do, no where to go, so for now she jsut sat piing soneone of her kind would notice her and help.

"Rogue? I've met her before. She's nice as long as you don't make her mad. I always went to her club before it got burned to the ground and rebuilt..." Layna was going to say more, but a shudder ran through her as the silent voice whispered in her ear. Her eyes were wide, fear flashing across her eyes.

Ceon tugged at her arm as Layna froze in place. "Layna? Layna, this is no time for standing, this is time for running in hopes of not getting killed." Ceon looked at her cold eyes, now becoming confused on why she wasn't moving.

Layna blinked, acting as if she had just lost her train of thought. "Sorry, guess I'm daydreaming again..." She said with an apologetic smile. She was not going to tell Ceon what had been said to her. It would just make him more cautious, which made her annoyed and agitated.
