Ceon was blind to everything except for the fact that there was blood in his mouth. Memories of Daiguren striking him down was all he could see. Fur covered his body and his clothes ripped apart. He began thrashing his head side to side, wanting more.

Layna let out a squeal as pain ripped through from her shoulder to her neck. Her knees buckled under the weight of the Lycan tearing at her shoulder. She could feel teeth beginning to sharpen in her own mouth, and claws grow, ready to go on the defensive. She dug them deep into flesh, her eyes staring up at the trees and sky above. Her heart pounded loudly was all she could hear.

Ceon whimpered as Layna's claws dug into his side, but the painful memories kept flooding into his mind. With one movement of his leg, Ceon swept his leg across the back of Layna's hoping to trip her.

Prometheus heard the yelp and lept to his feet. It was the same kind of cry Jessica had let out when the building fell. He unsheathed his claws and growled, letting Ceon know he was there.

Layna's legs thrashed as their balance was completely destroyed. the only thing holding her aloft was the teeth sunk deeply into her shoulder. Her eyes were wide, pain flashing dimly within them. She dug her nails deeper into the flesh, hoping for him to let go. She could feel his teeth grazing bone, and she stifled another cry, her teeth bared, as she let loose a throaty growl.

Prometheus jumped down and sank his teeth into Ceon's leg. "Let the girl go!" he said, not very clearly.

One of Layna's whimpers reached Ceon's eyes and managed to bore through the memories. This sound, Layna's pain, brought back the memory of when he went berserk when she was pregnant. He had her by the leg andd almost tore it off when she cried. As if the memories were commanding, Ceon released Layna almost instantly and ran, throwing his head into a tree. The tree snapped in half and fell with a crash. As the dust settled, Ceon lay at the stump of a tree with a bleeding forehead, in his human form, lost in a sort of daze.

Layna slumped to the ground, her hands grasping at the large wound in her shoulder. Blood trickled through her fingertips, her arms limp. "Ugh..." She moaned softly, trying to grasp at the Healer's ability. It laid beyond her reach at the moment, and she relied on her normal healing ability, which was extremely dampened at the fact that it was a Lycan-caused wound. She pressed her back against the bench, her head spinning at the blood she had lost. She blinked and looked toward Ceon with her face full of worry. "Ceon!" She then looked at the new man, before she felt herself slip into a painless unconsciousness.

Ceon saw Layna black out through his hazy vision. He struggled to get himself up, and he staggered over to Layna, falling to his knees as he neared her, "Layna, please Layna. Please be okay.......i'm such an idiot. Layna, please wake up." Feeling woozy, Ceon collapsed next to Layna, barely hanging onto his consciousness.

Layna opened her eyes a crack, her breathing slow, sleepy-like. She took one of Ceon's hands in her own. Please don't let me regret... She thought, feeling a warm and cold sensation pass through her as blue light flooded her mind and struck outwards, coiling into Ceon's arm and disappearing. She smiled meekly before she slumped downwards into the dark, body and mind drained. The wound on her shoulder bled red, the skin growing slowly. She couldn't feel her arm though, which was strange. She had never been severely injured before.

"Great, now two MORE people that get hurt when I see them." Prometheus said, changing to his human form. "I guess I'll help." He turned them around, side by side, and elevated their heads.

Ceon could feel the gashes in his ribs heal over, as well as the deep cut in his head. He looked up at the otherlycan, then back at Layna. He held her hand tight, then sat up, realizing that both Layna and himself were naked. He quickly grabbed his jeans and slid them on, still feeling dizzy. He stood up and held Layna in his arms, his leather jacket draped over her like a blanket, "Come on. Let's get somewhere warm." He looked back at the other lycan and gave him a look of thnks, then staggered off.

Daiguren entered the park and heard several sounds from the other side of the park. He moved quickly through the trees and came across a single lycan and some blood on the ground. He sniffed the air his face became rather unhappy very quickly as he addressed the lycan, "Where are these lycan's?" He said as he came forward from the shadows toward the lycan.
