To the one small point I know they've been missing around hereRick blinked as one of Slytherin's chasers caught the quaffle and attempted a shot. He shot to the left, reaching out. Dang it, this was one of the reasons why he hated playing Slytherin. They always seemed to get the quaffle and assault him with it. AC: 16

When the referee had taken to the skies, Dominic had his hand hover over the worn handle of the school brooms and commanded it to rise. With one swift motion, he hoisted himself into his seat and raised high into the sky in his position and waited. His heart was in his throat and his breath was stuck in his belly, swelling viciously. He’d never been so nervous before a game, before. He’d also never been vice captain, never been threatened that he’d get kicked out of school for even being here. He was almost too scared to look out into the stands to see who was there, watching him, waiting. He knew it wouldn’t be Grace, it couldn’t be. Probably never would be unless he went pro, and even then, the game would have to last hours. He cleared his throat and analyzed the opposing team, much fiercer than they had been last year, while their own team was lacking two of its former players who graduated. He hoped all of their training would help. He trained his sights on their chasers, the first second could determine the rest of the game, so could the single second of a seeker but, that would come in due time.
Once the whistle was blown and the quaffle was up in the air, he raced overhead. The game ripped back and forth across the field, the balls possession was snatched away every other minute and he was forced to rip on the handle of the school broom and barrel back the other way. He was afraid he almost might’ve broken the broom right then and there with a bone breaking turn around as the Ravenclaw keeper passed the quaffle off. He charged down the line towards their chaser, spun out of position to rear up on the blind side of a bludger and hurled his bat down into it, straight for Rufus, and far from the threat of the bludger that Verily had trained on him.

Amanda watched as Edajin threw the quaffle towards the goal posts. That was certainly not one of his better shots, but that was alright. The Slytherin chasers still managed to be the first to attempt to score, so they just had to do it again. The Ravenclaw keeper tossed the quaffle to Rufus, who avoided Edajin's steal attempt. The captain swerved beside Rufus, attempting to steal the quaffle from his grasp.
