Ceon zipped from tree to tree, looking....searching for his last sight. He found it, the spot of ground where Daiguren had struck him down. Ceon pulled the hood of his jacket over his head and hung it low, so no one would see him. Although the only thing that was what it was is his voice. He looked around, his memories of Layna returning. This rush brought him to his knees, streaming tears from his eyes and whispering, "Layna.........Layna"

Layna raced forward along the sidewalk, breathing in the cool air with the relish of one who hadn't been out in a while. Gabriel finally stirred in her arms, and opened his grey eyes to look up at her sleepily. "Hi there, sweetie." She said with a smile, kissing his forehead lightly. He giggled and looked around. "Pa-ark?" He sounded. She nodded, continuing to run, looking back every so often to look for her pursuer. She knew Razu wasn't far behind. Her heart was jolting with a familiar feeling. Happiness? But she knew not who or what would be lurking, so she was on guard to everything around her as well.

Ceon heard the familiar punding of footsteps along the ground and turned his head, peering into the night. "Layna?" He asked out loud, though he was a good half mile away from the thre figures. He covered the distance in a fraction of a second though, and stood a good five yards away from the oncoming figures, hanging his head low. He remembered that it could be anyone or anything, knowing from his death.

Razu caught up to Layna and exclaimed,"You are fast Layna! Has Gabe gotten-" He spun around and stared at where the voice calling Layna came from. His heart slammed into his chest because he recongnized the voice. He said loudly and clearly,"Who are you and why are you using that voice?"

Layna froze as the black figure stood in front of her. Her hackles rose, unsure what to think. She stepped back slightly, giving a distance between them. "How...How do you me...?" She whispered. Her heart was beating so fast, and she knew not the reason. Her instincts were on red alert as they took in the fact that this was a Demon. She shook, completely frozen, staring.

Ceon pulled his hood back, his ebony hair covering most of his eyes. His walked up to her at normal speed, paused, and hugged Layna. His hands quivered as he felt her warmth, and he whispered, "It's okay. I'm here now. I'm back. I'm going to make the bad things go away...."

Layna couldn't move, her heart was screaming at her. Who was this? The voice...the voice... Gabriel let out a muffled cry, whimpering, unsure what to think. So sudden.... She blinked, the back of her neck cold as she let out a scream, her body shaking. Who was this?! Who was this that used the dead's voice..? She felt sick to her stomach, the acrid smell of ash clogging her senses.

Ceonlet go of Layna and brushed the hair out of his eyes, and gave her a broad smile, "Layna, it's me, Ceon......I'm back............" Ceon hugged Layna tight as the good memories swarmed into his mind.

Razu pried Ceon away. He says quietly holding Ceon back,"So you're back somehow. As a demon. Carefully Ceon. Since you've come back you must be informed that she's been leery around demons. That is your new form. A demon"

Layna stared at the figure who bore Ceon's voice, pain welling up in her mind. This had to be a cruel trick... She shook, her son whimpering in her arms, confused. She had a fierce, agitated look in her eyes. She clung to her son, fear beginning to slowly break the other emotions down. Demons...Demons... Demons killed her husband. This was a trick...He was gone.

Ceon pushed Razu back as he stared into Layna's eyes, seeing her disbelief. "Layna...........it's me you have to believe me!" Ceon quickly threw off his jacket and ripped his shirt off, revealing the scars on his upper torso and arms from Daiguren and his tails. "Layna......."

Razu whispered,"You are a demon Ceon! A Demon! All she is seeing right now is a demon wearing your skin." He pulled closer to Layna and held her to him. "It's okay Layna."

Layna felt hot tears pour down her cheeks as she locked her grey eyes upon the figure before her. Pain buckled her and she collapsed against Razu, her teeth clenched. Her head was pounding like a drum. "This can't be real...This can't be real..." She whispered, crying.

A single tear rolled off his cheek as he stared in disbelief. He looked at gabriel and inched closer to him, "Gabriel.........my boy........you remember me dont you? Dont you remember your daddy?"

Razu supported Layna and Gabe while petting Layna's hair soothingly,"Layna it'll be okay. I'll be here with you. I promise that. I'm still here with you."
