Lustrepaw butted into my flank, and I turned to give him a good (playful) whacking when I noticed his reaction. Blinking at him curiously, I stared at his head in surprise. The other kittens had already asked him what was wrong, so I sat back and waited patiently for his response.
A billow of wind blew Lustrepaw's scent over to me. Narrowing my eyes, I recognized a scent on him that I'd smelled once before. It was impossible, really-but was that the scent of...?
Even more curious now, I stared at Lustrepaw with both excited and accusing eyes. Had he met with...? If so, he had allowed a complete (and possibly insane) stranger waltz through the Clan territory. That wasn't exactly...good. Or honest.]`•.¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.•´✶ ❖ ✶☂ Mistake me for love long lost, remind me of a love once found

[Lustrepaw growled at his own stupidity as the throbbing pain slowly ebbed away. He blinked a few times to clear his fuzzy head, before giving a crooked smile to Ravenkit.]
"Ok course I'm ok! Nothing can ever hurt the mighty Lustrepaw! Grrrraaaarr!"
[He snarled and snapped his jaws at Rustkit's paw, stopping only a whisker-length away from the kit's paw.]
"Hah, you're so slow, you can't ever ever beat the great Lustrepaw!"
[He tumbled closer to Thunderflight, and as he did, Whisperblade's scent would become blatantly clear to her. Lustrepaw seemed unaware of her slightly accusing stares, oblivious in the middle of his play.] ✘X☼X✘XX

Only I could recognize the scent (because it almost smelled like nothing in particular and because I'd med the owner of the scent before), and it was now inevitable who it belonged to.
I quickly stood to my feet. The kits who had been on me tumbled off. Narrowing my eyes, I leaned down to Lustrepaw.]
"Lustrepaw, I need to speak with you," I murmured stoicly, my face blank and unrepresentative of the emotions swirling inside me. "Alone," I added, narrowing my eyes.
[I padded over to behind the elder's den, lashing my tail as a signal for him to follow.]

Had he done something wrong? He had brought back fresh kill and hadn't eaten any himself, just as the warrior code had decreed. Maybe Thunderflight had smelled the mouse on him and thought he ate some? He didn't even notice when Citruskit pounced near him. Instead he stood to his paws and followed Thunderflight obediently, his drooping tail almost sweeping the ground in his worry and fear of what the warrior queen would do.]

[I sat to the side of the elder's den, a more secluded part of camp, wrapping my tail around my paws. Worry flickered across my face before it was replaced with a more stern look.]
Blinking at him slowly, and with concern, I asked pointedly, "Lustrepaw, who did you meet in the territory? I can smell a scent on you that's foriegn to StormClan cats."
[I stared at him more worriedly than harshly. I was more worried over his safety and of the Clan's safety than anything else, really. Lustrepaw could be a bit reckless at times...
...but also, deep down (and for some strange reason), I was yearning to see Whisperblade again. Any news or thoughts of him made my heart...

What's wrong? Did he eat too much on the fresh-kill pile?

Just re-chcked my textbook and confirmed that. Males are called toms, if castrated they're called gib, females are called queens or mollies regardless of whether they've had their their first litter yet. I think.)
[Lustrepaw gazed into Thunderflight's eyes with a scared and worried expression as she questioned him. Did she smell Whisperblade's scent? Thinking about it, Whisperblade DID say that he knew her...might as well tell her then, no?]
"Yeah I did, it was this stranger with a weird name and some weird markings, his name was Whisperblade or something like that. He told me to pass on his well wishes to you!"

Ravenkit's whiskers twitched in amusement. "The Mighty Lustrepaw, huh?" she meowed, crouching down. Before she could pounce, Thunderflight led the apprentice behind the elder's den.
Where's the "Mighty Lustrepaw," going? she began to wonder. He vanished just like Hammi!
She couldn't think of anything else at that moment, because Citruskit plowed into her. Her size gaver her an advantage, and Ravenkit was nearly knocked over. She let out a kit battle-cry and sprang for her.

(( @ Timber & Zann: Yeah. Males are toms, females are she-cats, in Warriors terms. A she-cat becomes a queen only when she has her first litter of kits. That's what I've gathered from the books. >.<
And to anyone else: Can I please get a summary of what's been going on? I'm so lost- and I've been really busy with FFA! Summary, please? x3 ))

(( @Zann: I dunno! xD It can be a hassle, but when you get used to it, she-cat can seem as short as tom. xD
And ugh, not so good! xD It's been so cold and snowy in Wisconsin, I've only had time to ride on the weekends! xD But the drill team season's starting up again, and we get open rides every Thursday starting in March. I'm starting to ride English, after seven years of Western (I rode English my first three years, then seven of Western) and so now, I'm re-adjusting to English. I'm starting to jump, with my drill team coach helping moi. Mah horse, Gidget, already was trained English, so it's more me that needs the learning! xD I can't wait for summer- or even spring, so I can ride again! xD And you? ))

(Ugh since uni started, not much time to ride anymore, at most it's one lesson a week and a hack on the weekend. Trying very hard to divide time between schoolwork, horse riding, badminton and gym...Riding team captain's telling me to sign up for competitions, while badminton team captain is dragging me into extra sessions for an upcoming tournament. I wish I could clone myself >.<
(People seem to think that all Chinese should be awesome at badminton. It's very pressurising >.<)
Been doing less riding and focusing more on horse-related work, just sent a letter applying train under a vet in Hong Kong Jockey Club. If they accept me it'll be a dream come true, cuz I want to work with racehorses after I graduate blaugh
I can't imagine cowgirl Leo riding English blaugh Very hard to picture you in a dressage jacket and plaited horse...)
