Hey walked through the park for awhile and then decided to just leave.He walked off in the direction of the graveyard,taking his time as he walked out.

Layna jogged through the park, her black ponytail streaming behind her. Her grey eyes were bright with this newfound feeling of strength. She loved it. Had Nebiros really granted her wish? She put a hand to her heart, feeling it beat hyperly. She would have to thank him for this, whenever she saw him next. Rounding the path, her steps froze. "Zarathos...." She murmured, staring at the ex-vampire, and newly fledged Demon. She shivered. Remembrance hurt when they had been such close lovers. She turned away, and jumped through the brush and onto another path, her eyes livid with distaste. A demon... She despised Demons. She fell onto all fours as she changed, rushing after a rabbit that scampered across her path. It had no chance against her. She bit deep into it's little body, breaking bones easily, biting flesh. She hungered for more than this, but would never go that far. Humans were never her prey.

Jack sat in the branch of a tree, surveying New York. It had been some time since he had last been in the city... and he had to say it felt good to be back. Although out of all honesty, it felt different than before. He stared out into the city, and the aura... whatever aura he felt before was gone. He sighed silently as a grin grew on his face.
Times always change. Need to remember that.
He soon pushed himself off and fell to the ground. However, with a light thud, he landed nimbly. He grunted quietly as he got back to his feet. As he did, he spotted a woman jogging along. He rose an eyebrow as he stared at her.
"Feels kinda odd at this time of night."

Jasie felt as if D was around, yet she knew if he was here-- he would have came up to her. But she shook her head and the feeling away, but knew she had to find him later. She patted Zarathose on the back, "Just kidding Zar-- I'm not really in the licking up mess's mood." Something caught Jasie's attention and she gazed over and spotted Layna. "Hmm..." Jasie thought, wondering if she was ok, then she heard the crunching of small animal bones-- and Jasie smiled, knowing at least Layna was occupied for the moment.

Layna sighed, shifting slowly from her Lycan form, staring at the bloody specks on her hands. She quivered slightly, her eyes wide. She had never been one to kill... And yet, here she was, craving the bloody mess. She grimaced and stood quickly, wiping her hands. There was definitely no need for anymore tonight. She yanked herself up onto a low hanging branch, her lips slightly curled at the smell of blood. She had had her fill of meat for one night, even in that meager portion. Her grey eyes surveyed the area, growling softly as she felt eyes upon her.

Jasie watched Layna shift into her human form and envied her. At least she could be human, she could feel the warmth of the sun on her skin, have children and live life normally to a certain extent. While her on the other hand, is damned to live in darkness forever, or at least until someone puts me out of my pathetic misery. Jasie sighed and turned away from Layna, even though the blood sparked a bit of interest-- but not enough to do anything about it.

Layna stared off at Jasie, and jumped down from the branch to walk to the vampire's side. "I see your expression... You should not be jealous of me." She muttered. You don't have to worry about insanity... She wanted to say. That was the most painful thing for her. She was slowly losing her mind, until Nebiros had pulled her together. She sniffed at her sleeve and sighed. Even his smell was something of a relaxant. She looked at the vampire with a sigh, but she cringed from Zarathos, shaking.

Jasie remembered when Layne and her were pretty good friends-- but now, it seemed as if there were strangers placed in a time loop of crazy events that happened to them. Jasie so wanted to tell Layna she wasn't jealous, but what good what that do, "My expression shows, yet hinds many things Layna-- you of all people should know that by now." She casually said, without any emotion in her voice. "I'm sorry-- I'm just having a rather odd night you could say." She ended with a heavy sigh.
Jasie noticed Layna's eyes drift way within, and Jasie knew she was remembering things-- good, yet nerve wracking things. Jasie was going so say something, yet she caught Layna's body react in a strange, yet weird way that seemed as if it cringed. "You-- ok?"

Layna blinked, and rubbed her neck absent-mindedly. "F-Fine..." She muttered, grimacing at her own reaction. She ran her fingers over the near invisible crescents where a once-vampire had bit down upon her to feed. "I'm fine... Some things...hurt." She muttered,glancing briefly at Zarathos.

Jasie glanced in the direction she was looking in and noted Zarathose. "Ahh..." Jasie thought and put two and two quickly together.
"Are you su-ure, Layna... I can clearly see your not kiddo, but if your sure your ok than I won't push it." Jasie knew it's her own business, and so she would ultimately stay out of it, even though she felt a need to but in just to make sure she was ok.

Layna took a step back. She wasn't going to get mixed up with Zarathos again, not after he disappeared on her... She quivered slightly, her hands clenched. She continued to step back, small unnoticeable steps making distance. "I'm fine.." She muttered quietly, her eyes shining in the small bit of light there was. Just hold it back... Just back away... She told herself continuously. Zarathos. He had been her beloved, but now he was a Demon... She despised Demons to the fullest.

Astarte breathed in the polluted air of Manhatten and sat on a bench. She wiped wayward lycan blood from the corner of her mouth. She closed her eyes and pretended she was alone, especailly since she smelled familiar blood and wasn't to keen on talking to them.

As Jack stared around the city, a familiar scent filled the air. It seemed that the people he had known had not all come and gone. He was actually surprised, and even more so relieved. As he sniffed the air, he soon realized that it was indeed someone very close by. As his eyes skimmed the area, they soon rested on a woman who sat on a bench alone. As he stared at her, he knew who it was.
"Astarte... that can't be her."

Layna's grey eyes swept the area once more as the scent of Lycanthrope blood and vampire. Astarte... She was Diego's person... Layna glanced at Jasie once more before jumping upwards into the trees. For a Lycan, she knew how to climb trees like a feline. And this strange new strength just added to her ease. She jumped across the gaps between trees, moving lithely beneath branches and leaves, not making a noise, until she saw the vampire woman. She sat down on the branch to the right of her, still a distance away. "I remember you." She muttered softly, her eyes questioning.

She felt Jack's eyes on her and looked the opposite direction hoping that their past would embarrase him enough to not talk to her. Her eyes glanced up at Layna, "Oh...you."
