"Twice" The man chuckled softly as he spun the gun.Watching it with a bored expression as it twirled about on the countertop before eventually coming to a stop.He did this a few more times,enjoying the simplicity of it.

"Than is so far the most pathetic guardian I have ever met.During his protecting of Kai he couldn't protect himself...furthermore..I moved through him like a knife in warm butter....furthermore....He killed Apollo.Oh yes..the idiot.That devastated Kai...I don't even want to imagine what would have happened had I not been there.And so I offered her a chance to get away for awhile,I brought her to my home for a few days.She had what seemed a fantastic time,and is now safely at home.Your protector is nothing...as I said I would,I will protect her...at least I can."The man smiled and moved the gun back to its holster.His words weren't exactly lies.In his view,Than was an utter failure.

Focht yawned and looked at Twi, slowly getting to his feet.
"You got this? I can barely keep my eyes open."
He slowly moved to the stairs waiting for Twi to respond.

*Twi narrowed his eyes, glad Axl was asleep right now to prevent an outburst* So Apollo's dead is he?..... I suppose that solved one problem at least. I suppose it's to be expected that Than made a mistake... I'll admit that. Though I have to ask, since you seem keen on helping Kai as well..... Why did you attack Than if he was there to help.... further more what role did you play when Apollo made his move? *He nodded to Focht* I should be fine.... even if I don't have any weapons on me right now....

"Haha....You're senseless aren't you.Solved a problem?It caused more.Kai loved Apollo...and Than killed him.And why did I attack Than?I felt like it?He's a problem?Another danger..without him she'd live so much easier..I've already proven that to a degree.As for Apollo's move...I let Than handle that...more proof of how inept he truly is.You see.....Out here..amongst you all,even though she cares for you..bad things happen to her.I managed to give her a brief vacation without brainwashing or magic that helped her...and I can do it again,but bigger this time..a larger scale.It'll all work out...You'll see,I'll make it all balance.Anyhow..til next time."Nodding to himself,the man vanished.

Focht points to the training room.

He heads up stairs to his room and enters, crawling carefully into bed next to Sai after locking the door.

For a moment he really does nothing, then he smirks* He takes too much time trying vanely to think he understands everyone else.... he doesn't even realize that this is as much his fault as anyone's *He exhales* well that solves the mystery of what happened to Than. *He turns and head upstairs to sleep on the subject*

*A devilish grin arose on his face. He had continued to sit through the conversation, hearing all the tempting details. Now he had a target and was all to ready to take it. Wether they end up alive or dead, he wanted suffering. He had snapped a while ago and now was able to control his hunger. Giving into it made all the difference.*
*His eyes were flaring softly as he rose, the chain of his kusari gama wrapped around his waist, the blade resting to his side.*
"Now to wait for the time."
*He shifted out of the dojo through the same wall at which he sat. The crystal throne dissipating into thin air leaving no marks of energy around it. As he walked on, he swung his weapon fro his waist and into the ground. Instead of becoming caught in the soft earth, it swung a clean gash through it, leaving a small flame of energy to remain for a time. He continued to walk, every now and then ripping a tree asunder with the impervious blade, slicing it apart or splitting it down the center and absorbing the life into the weapon.*
"...and leave them with pain."
