Wiser's head poped out from behind a tree. He then sprinted past a lightpost to a corpse, laying on the ground. He sniffed it, it reeked of suffering in a way. Wiser then crouched next to the corpse, pulling out a small, blue light and hovered it over the corpse. "How'd you die? Tainted? Vampire?" The pool of blood arounded the body suggested Vampire. Then there was a rustle from a bush nearby. Wiser quickly pulled out his pistol. A laser guide shot out to the bush, only to have a rabbit appear. Wiser hosltered the pistol and sighed. "Man, my senses aren't as honed as they were...". The light he held turned a Cyrus color. Wiser nodded and stowed it in his pouch, and started to walk off.

Razu eyes landed on Layna as she collapsed. He breathed,"No. Gabe hold still." He jumped down without jarring Gabe and swiftly ran to Layna.
"Layna. Don't die on us!." He rested a hand on her forhead and began to help Layna heal herself.

Layna laughed weakly. "I won't die, silly.... I'm just so...tired..." She whispered. Razu's hand was comforting to her in a way, filling her with warmth. She opened her eyes to look up at the two, her eyes resting on Gabriel with an affectionate look, before she looked up at Razu. "I'm sorry...for worrying you..." She swallowed hard, gasping as pain lanced through her shoulder where the spears had punctured. She had not healed them completely, and now they were being forced to close.

Razu hated to cause Layna even more pain but the wounds had to be closed completely so she didn't catch something horrid.. He whispered soothing words to Layna as the wounds closed up.

Layna reached up and gently touched her son, and then Razu. They were real, and unhurt. She felt tears fall down her cheeks, relieved. "I thought he was going to come after you...like he did me...." She shut up quickly. They didn't need to know about those things. She closed her eyes, pressing her mind to the back corner, so no thoughts would jump out to her mouth. She had so much to say, and no barrier to keep them from being said. "Razu.... Thank you for your help... My son..." Her face scrunched up as she tried hard to not let the tears fall more quickly.

Razu offered a small smile,"Gabe is safe. I will sacrifice my life for him. That I swear to." Razu lifted his hand wiped away Layna's tears understanding what was raging through her.

Layna blinked, feeling his hand wipe away the tears. His words felt too sincere for her ears. It reminded her too much of those who had promised never to leave, and yet... They were gone. She sat up slowly, and turned with a slight wince as her muscles protested. She took Gabriel gently from Razu, and hugged the child without letting up. "I feel so alone..." She whispered. "Everyone I knew....are gone....dead....and buried..."

Razu felt his heart plumment and told himself that it wasn't as if he felt anything anyways. Not to Ceon's mate. His exterior didn't change despite the inner turmoil,"Layna that's not true. You still have Gabe."

Layna lips quivered as she tried not to cry. "But even he will one day leave for his own life..." She whispered, burying her head into Gabriel's little shoulder. She was still in pain, but now....it was one of a different kind of loneliness. "And then I'll be alone...." Her body shook as her stomach knotted into itself, pressing down the revulsion of a life of solitude. There was nobody left...

Razu added after a fierce battle inside his heart and brain,"I'll still be here, even when Gabe's part in your life is over. I'll still be with you."

Layna found herself frozen at his words, her heart pounding in her ears. Her grey eyes were wide as she lifted her head to stare at Razu. What was he saying? There was pain and fear and surprise locked in her gaze. Everyone who cared for her died. She had fear that Razu would be that next person to fall to this unknown curse. Gabriel wiggled in her grasp, trying to free himself. He managed to get free and plopped to the ground next to his frozen mother.

Desaecula "Mate?" he questioned... "YOur a lycan then... with that speech pattern you must be." He smiled, bearing his fang, but keeping a kind demeanor. "You know its sad wte races dont get along... we woudl have more then enough combined strength to get ride of the hunters." HE sighed. Julian looked to him and shook her head, "Maybe, but I'm not a fighter, I'm a Healer. I hate fighting so I'm a Pacifist." She then rubbed her stomach and was lost in thought and said, "I need to find someone that can watch my child." In a low voice.

[[damn internet connection...storm messed up my cables outside, sorry about that....]]
Veroen silently made another hand signal, making his void ninjas return to the void.
He quickly snapped back into reality again. More memories had flushed into his mind at the mention of the name, 'Astarte'. he hadn't heard that name in quite some time. The mention of it brought back memories of her. He fell to his knees again, now clutching his head. He didn't know what the hell was going on with him inside his head. In his eyes, time seemed to be skipping, and he couldn't keep track of everything around him. He silently stayed there, kneeling on the ground, eyes flashing crimson to dark black, as he tried to regain control of himself. He stood up slowly with a slight stumble, then focused his vision on those around him. Leo seemed to have entered the area as well. He saw Layna on the ground, and quickly ran to her position. He stopped, now beside her and some others. Including her son, as well as Razu.
His eyes still flashing between Dark crimson, and black, he looked at them, confused as hell.
"Layna..." he said, not really acknowledging anyone else at the moment...
"Are you alright? what happened?" he asked with difficulty, still clutching the right side of his head.

Razu kept his gaze locked onto Layna's," I-I" Razu dropped his gaze words lodged in his throat. He can't promise he won't die like the Ceon. He couldn't say it. There was already many doomed implications in the future that Razu could see in which he could die. Many ways he could die. Razu raised his eyes and locked his eyes onto Layna his eyes revealing a desperate look. "I'm sorry. Death is an unexpected thing. I can not promise I won't die. I can promise that I'll try my hardest to stay in this world with you and be with you as much as I can."
Razu looked away embarresed. He looked up at the vampire next to him, "She is fine. Physically anyways. What of you? Is something wrong with you? Your head his hurting right? More like your mind..."

Layna found herself shaking, blinking back tears at Razu's promise. So familiar, and she hoped it was true, for his sake as well as her own. Hearing Veroen, she was surprised by his sudden appearance, and the way he looked. He seemed out of sorts like she was. "I'll be alright...It's just hard to move....He took something from me...And I feel horrible without it..." She would say no more on the subject, no one needed to know anymore.
Gabriel stared at the new person, and slowly stood up. He was unafraid of people, it didn't matter what species. The little white-haired child stumbled toward the Vampire, his grey eyes wide with curiosity.
