StellaCosmos My school surprsingly does not have that many pics we only have about five of them and the flutes outnumber them by thirty. Yes, our school is just that big, but we're nothing compared to the Clarinet section. @.@ weell lets see. we have a total of 4 flutes. in the entire band. one of them is quiting. the other never shows up of anything. so tecnally we have a flute and a picc. We have like 40 some people in our entire band. so yea. our school is 3A but no one cares about the band. they cut us short so the chours could sing all their songs for our christmas consert. omg. i hate my school. and the trumpets suck. we have like 5 and only 3 can accually play and only one of them can play loud. -sighs- our band should be so much better.

Hmm, must repress erge to kill section leader. Grrr. Last year I was section leader in my band, and considering 3/4 of the flutes in wind ensemble came from my band last year, I should be second chair. Miss prissy 'though is buddy buddy with one of the other flutes, so she stuck me as temporary 3rd chair. I moved to this band to escape easy parts, not to be stuck with more of them. But I managed to actually play in tune for the first time in my life. Yay!! Gah. I know what you mean. Except I don't want to smack the girl next to me (who's nickname, ironically, is Smac! blaugh ) I want to beat the entire 3rd flute section behind me with any instrument I can get my hands on; tubas, base drums, bass clarinets, a basson... No! The gong!!! twisted

I've played flute since 6th grade, and that is all I can play (not counting xylophone.) At my high school the whole flute/piccolo section consist of girls. rofl It makes me sad how there are no boy flutes. crying
|

i love my flute.im first chair in my class(.the secoond period band is behaind but im suposed to b in the class thats farther ahead.)the second hour band has snooty boss talkitive peps.oonly a few of them are good.

mipcy In our band, we tend to have what I call 'flute wars.' Generally, it's over seating. But, being the senior senior section leader (I have one year of experience over the others) they listen. Sort of. They don't like me, though. we have flute wars but we like so many different bands

She sits there during nineth period talking about all kinds of crap (the latest is whether or not she should have sex with her boyfriend), can't play half the notes she should be able to, and, from what I can tell, can barely read music. And then she has the nerve to say that she deserves a higher part. (All the seniors just laughed at her when she said that.) The rest of them aren't really that bad, personality wise, but they can't really play either.

well we only have two flutes so i guess im flute # 2. Oh well. We dont have chairs... Yet. idk. with all the stuff that the school ( who hates us) just throws at us, well it makes us look even worse. I hate my school.

She can't determine if she's flat or sharp so she makes the whole flute section sound like it sucks! I want to smack her, good thing I'm first chair though! Gah. I know what you mean. I don't understand why, but he just doesn't. So then they just blow band off even more. I know for a fact that none of them go to their lessons or take the music home to practice. stare Lol. But you know they're really getting outta hand when the saxes and French horns become involved.
