Alterik smirked waving his hand. "Oh nonsense you was not rude. But though powers like this occur in our family normally, Sounds like Lyra by far is the more stronger with this happening. Yes Phoenix's can do silly stuff like acting cute and squawking or singing cutely or just start dancing for no reason when they sense the one they choose to bond with has downed, saddened, or upset emotions to try calming the person.

So far there was only one person in our family tree stronger than others with this effect. But still he was able to bond with a phoenix. All I am saying is Lyra seems yet even stronger in this regard than even the one who barely was able to bond to a phoenix. Just saying she might need to bond with something even stronger than a phoenix. But I don't even know what that is. I will make sure my forgetful sister, Your grandmother is more careful on Lyra's behalf." Alterik said smirking and thanking Hitana for telling how strong Lyra was in that effect.

Sardin flew around and looked Synda over as he flew around over it. Water seemed to flow from a large rock into a lake that flowed down over the edges but it seemed the lake never goes dry also seems as if there is a energy field that prevents people from falling off. There was glowing crystals all over the place on towers which seemed to hold the powers inside them that keeps Synda floating in the air. "Hmm now this is actually interesting."

Alterik smirks. "Well that's the thing usually phoenix's just are drawn to the person they need to bond with. So it's like they pick the person. Other animals are like that but most well don't know how to sense this. How ever there is this profit our family has talked to a few times and he or she at the time it can change to a male or female depending who has the power in that family.

But they can do a type of mystic bond finding ritual it has a pot of smoke that the smoke rising up as the person meditates on the inner energy and the smoke can take the form of that animal that would be best bonded to help a person's powers." Alterik said trying to explain it.

Sardin nodded a bit. "This isn't good. Looks like the natural energy crystals are responding to the spell. it seems they are gathering energy from the elements in the world. This might cause it to be difficult to bring down in one piece." He said going in and landing on the ground a large area out the front gate and looked around. "Hmm strange indeed." He said as he checked things out.

Sardin nodded a little bit. "I agree it is a little too silent. Don't do anything yet if something found it's way here, We wouldn't want to let it loose. Even I had trouble landing as if some force was keeping something inside I had to struggle not to just be pulled inside. What with you on my back and all didn't want harm to come to you if I crashed."

Sardin said and looked around seeing something that looked like a shadow peeking from around a corner. "Of course it could be nothing just because last time people seen a dragon in the area once they seen one flying over head they might had thought I was going to do more than they did or something else perhaps. So they likely hid from sight. Just be on your guard okay? We should not let ourselves fear something if there is no proof our feelings warning us something wrong is not true."

Sardin said sounding reasonable and looked around. "I am going to have a look around your welcome to follow me if you like but I just want you to be safe. So if I tell you to find a safe place you will likely need to get to a place near one of these crystals. As a crystal like this if they are drawing on all the elements in the world will be a barrier around them that you could get behind and nothing could harm you."

He said looking to see the shadow gone and walked turning back into his human form and summoned a bag he got into and got a few things out of it a few weapons and a few trinkets arming himself with some daggers and put on a pair of odd gauntlets and they responded to Sardin's magic seeming to clasp onto him and just sat there on his hands and arms.

"If something harmful is here these magic gauntlets will warn me by covering me in armor in response to the danger level. If you notice armor just suddenly sprout forming over my entire body get ready to fight off something. Or to run to a crystal." He said holding his hand out putting a bracelet on Lyra's arm.

"This will react as well by putting a magic shield around you. The shield on it will allow you to pass any barrier like if you need to get into a crystal barrier for safety." He said trying to sound optimistic to calm Lyra. "Just because the armor gauntlets or the shield bracelet activates doesn't mean anything bad just if people here are scared because we are here.

Them being scared and could try defending themselves if they feel or think we are a threat to them we will just need to let them know we are here to help and try to get them to calm down. Showing them we mean them no harm and wish to just help them. So there is no need to panic or be overly upset okay Lyra?" He said watching her trying to keep her calm.

Alterik sighed a little. "Yes no need to worry about it until its needed I am just saying it is an option. For all we know her companion might already be with her and she don't know it. we call the ones who bond to help calm us companions more than pets because they will fight beside us if needed so we don't have to feel the darker emotions that could do more harm."

Alissia sighed a little. "We could also harmlessly separate the dark emotions from us and seal them away as another option though in an effect it would make a shadow effect of ourselves as if making a twin of us. Which the technique is called the shadow split it separates the dark emotions from lighter ones. People would not feel hatred, or sadness but they might still fear things.

Because fear well its more a neutral emotion people can fear without having that effect happen or it will happen from fear but if it is needed to be done to have ease of mind of lesser chances to have that effect happen it can be done. I don't plan on doing it unless it is the only way to keep Lyra from having out of control emotions that could do more harm than good." Alissia said speaking calmly about this method as an option, But it was more of a last resort thing.

Alterik yelled as his hair was pulled. "Ow, I would if I could but the wings I got only can carry one person, I am no dragon or able to take a large form that is safe to have a passenger,

Even if you could be strong enough to swim in the lava of a volcano you would be just wood to my flames in my larger form Hitana it is too dangerous to try. And Besides Sardin is well he is not a normal dragon you got that she is safer even in the center of the planet as long as she is with him.

Besides with Tsuki's ability just because she says she has a bad feeling and its hot unless I can question her to evaluate the level of threat I won't even be able to do anything. You want to go up there and protect Lyra but without knowing how bad her hot feeling is and just acting out of panic it could get your sister killed!

And I know you would not be able to live with yourself if that happened. I don't intend to have my sister risk both heirs over misguided panic!" He said scolding her in the pain as a blue flame wrapped around him looking like fire but having more in common with water then fire.

If she let go of his hair hearing this to let him go he would look to his daughter. "Show me like I taught you I need to feel the hot part in the shadows Tsuki to gage it's urgency. I won't want to take an invasion or army group to tend to someone scared of a mouse... At least not again. Show me so I can assess the threat appropriately." He said holding his arm out towards her.

Alissia sighed looking down. "This could be worse for everyone if more people go than needed it is why I need to be on my throne like I do. If I am away from my throne too long my subjects could be easily harmed by one person. One thing that had an agreement and the reason I gave up my wings. I fear I might had been away too long and the seal might be weakened if not broken.

I used the energy of my wings sacrificing them to seal a great shadow beast in the catacombs. With the help of a grand master mage. he was well known back them. The Arch Magnus Olandrik. He built my entire kingdom as an eternal prison for this thing. But to do it he needed power from me to link to the seal. The ritual once it was done my phoenix wings vanished.

He apologized for it and I simply said I would give all my power if it meant I could protect my subjects. and the old kingdom I lived in I moved to this new prison with everyone. They actually followed me willingly. the old kingdom is now the small village of shadow run. In case of emergency the 6 large crystals would activate a inward pulling barrier keeping it in while creating a safe area for my and my subjects to stay inside to be protected until help came to reseal it. Or to evacuate everyone safely to another place.

If you must go up there then use the pony I got you and your sister, the orange fire like mane will well the horse should draw on your natural powers and you can ride it through the sky as if solid ground. They where magically crafted by Ondrik himself. for the true heirs of fire and water to my throne." Alissia said Alterik went pale hearing this and the pony she mentioned walked up to Hitana and nudged her.then dropped a saddle looking designed with a flame pattern with special crystals weaved into the saddle and harness.

Alissia started to tear up. "I told him a fly by would be okay but until I was on the throne I did not want anyone going there.If Sardin landed he disobeyed my mental warning. That or he just has a way too thick skull and it never got through." She said feeling like it was her fault. "I didn't want to scare anyone so I never openly mentioned it but now feel if I had a problem like this could have been avoided." Alissia said starting to openly cry.

Sardin looked and sighed. "First lets check out this nearest guard tower. To make sure if any trouble is around we know a place to run to for safety." He said walking over to the door placing his hand on the door as it opened a warm light bathed the inside of the tower and if was a similar energy as what was around the crystal though not very strong. Walking up the long stairs making sure lyra was with him opening the door at the top where part of the crystal pointed into the room.

Seeing a few people inside the barrier a few guards and some children with women. "Okay Lyra looks like they might need some help do you know any helpful magic like healing water and stuff? If you do see what you can do for them." Sardin said knowing how she wants to help and found scared and a few hurt people. There was large food, herbs, and water sources in the barrier room. "As you tend to these I will talk to the guards to find out whats going on. Once done I will look for others to see if anyone else needs help." Showing Lyra inside the tower. "It's alright we are here to help." Sardin said but didn't step into the barrier himself. pointing to a guard and beckoning him over letting Lyra possibly go to tend the injured and scared to not let Lyra hear the discussion.

Sardin nodded to Lyra and talked to the guard about what was going on a crystal on one of Sardin's gauntlets was red like a blood red ruby almost black in color. Sardin gestured with his hands talking to the guard. "Okay no problem just make sure everyone stays safe I will check around the other towers. Lyra I will bring others here if I can. But if I cant get them out of the towers due to complications..."

Sardin tossed a tiny crystal into the barrier that a light ring emitted from it holding it just above the floor. "This will chime three times alerting you of incoming as I set up a temporary transport gate. Though its placement I will also be able to hear and talk to you if needed. Just relax no matter what you hear going on I well I am a high grade fighter so you need not worry if I know your sister she might end up coming here.

Hopefully whatever is going on will be able to be dealt with before that happens. But if you see her since the windows are enveloped by the barrier yell to her to get in a tower to be safe." He said looking to her smiling. to make it seem like its not very serious and he let the guard return into the barrier.

"oh when if at all that crystal flashes and beeps it goes red yellow blue in color if travel is incoming but when it beeps off need a 5 foot radius clear around it.so no one risks harm from a portal opening. If a video communication like display is incoming it will only flash red." Sardin said before grabbing his glowing sapphire blade as if it was made of crystal. And drawing it out of the sheath as he took off down the steps closing the door.

Alterik frowned once he gaged it looking to Alissia "It's worse then you think the seal is still intact on the beast, But some of the townspeople are being controlled. From what I seen and felt there are two main dark energies there. One still seems to be sleeping." he moves a hand and three blue fireballs shoot into the air and one red one shooting into 4 directions super fast.

"I sent a call for help I am heading to support Sardin. The energy of the one controlling the people seems worse than what is sleeping under the castle. All I can tell is its feeding on the other dark beings energy. And Sardin though more capable then me and my top three generals combined will need help. Lyra I can tell is still calm just slightly worried some people got to crystals to be safe a few injured and Lyra is tending them. Tsuki is keeping distant watch on her." Alterik said looking to Hitana.

"I would prefer you stay put here until I let Tsuki know if your needed. Or if you can go up. But if you do go up there before told find a tower and get to the crystal as I can't insure if this entity doing this will feed off your powers or not." he said sternly advising her this before flaming wings flew out of his back and shoots up as well as 5 phoenix birds following him.

Sardin moved very fast. being a blur moving tower to tower where the crystals was seeing people in the barriers checking if they was hurt letting them know help has come. "I am here to help. I got a friend its just the two of us right now but others could be on the way.

If any of you are hurt and can be moved I will toss a transport gem in the barrier to send them to her for healing. I am aware of what happened the first room like this I was told by a guard." He said knowing the crystals was the safest place. If no one was harmed he tells them.

"No matter what you do don't leave this barrier, It is protecting you even if a friend or loved one tries to get you out don't believe them, tell them if they really are wanting to be with you to come further into the room. if they start but stop it is because they are under control by a dark influence which wants to take over this place to infect you with its darkness. It will grow in strength the more it can infect with its darkness. But don't leave the....." Sardin stops and moves as a person controlled attacks him.

Grabbing the person Sardin throws them through the barrier as the darkness controlling them is torn from the person being destroyed by the barriers pure light. The person blinks confused looking around then passes out but still alive just overly exhausted. "This is what will happen if people controlled by this darkness step into the barrier. This weakens the dark being and why I say not to leave the barrier." Sardin explains going to secure the townspeople he can that are safe. Going from tower to tower a few people land hard and fast outside.

"Ah company." Sardin asks spinning the crystal blade in his hand looking ready to fight. "Who sent ye! Speak or be deemed enemies of the royal house of sacred light!" Sardin speaks quickly ready to take action.

Alissia sighed shaking her head. "Even if I told or ordered you to stay here where we know your safe you would defy it an go anyway wouldn't you Hitana." She said getting up and walked over to the present tables pulling two odd looking long one flatter then the other.

"These are gifts from Olandrik you might need them. He said you would know what to do with them when you was together and needed to use them. They both have amplification and restriction stones he said with these no creatures will come from your emotions. Said it for both of these things. Now I think I understand the effects behind darker emotions will be restricted by strong very strong magic.

Yours looks like it might be a sword but he handed them to me wrapped so I never saw them myself. Open them together." she said handing them to Hitana. "If I can get up there myself I will come to try helping it would ease my citizens to see their queen even if all the fighting is done by the time I get there. Seeing me will surely set my people at ease. Just be careful if the barrier is up you may be pulled forcefully into the town." She said advising Hitana.

Sardin waited watching these new arrivals waiting for an answer but hearing an echoed noise from his gauntlet he took off towards the tower fighting his way up if need be tossing what ever it was at the door banging on it.

Sardin sighed. "I did not harm 4 out of 6 has citizens behind the crystal barriers The royal queen of the sacred light found her heirs and one was on my back for a calming flight and I was curious finding out a temporary up lifting of this kingdom into the sky brought a less temporary effect and I flew by too close getting pulled into the barrier as it is preventing something from leaving it seems.

The young heir here is in a tower which something is attacking the door, We got trapped so I thought I would look around, we found injured people and she is using her powers to heal and calm many. I was about to go to the 5th guard tower when you landed. Some of the townspeople are controlled by the darkness here." Sardin said kicking the door open showing towns people throwing the two attacking the door into the barrier as darkness was ripped out of them and destroyed by the light barrier the people confused and then passed out both looking hurt from trying to break the door down.

"Lyra please heal these two these people here have come to help figure out what is going on. If I find other people influenced by dark shadows that are injured I will bring them here and throw them through the barrier it might risk letting darkness in past the barrier if I portal them in to you." Sardin smiled softly "Your doing great by the way Lyra more help I recieved a message from Alterik that he is on his way to help ad bringing his three generals. These three dragons are half of the reason this kingdom is in the sky.

Which if someone thought to put a way the Queen could get to her people after her oppressor was gone this might not had happened." Sardin said then took turned around "I only located a fourth of the towns people in 4 of the 6 towers. two was empty the two are set to the ruby green and orang all you need to do is turn the tip of the crystal in there with you to one of these colors to open a portal to relocate if needed or to get more supplies.

But these people won't willingly the controlled citizens won't cross willingly through the barrier as it will free them and weaken the one behind this. I plan if I can to get all the citizens behind these barriers don't let anyone leave the barriers even if it is a mother of a child,

instead if you can grab them with your water and pull them inside the dark energy will be separated freeing them but the citizens will be exhausted and likely pass out. If we get all the citizens free it will force the one behind this to reveal themself. Then we I and these three as well as others that come to help can deal with it accordingly freeing everyone.

Then we can put in a portal system in for those who need to go to the lands below from here and from there to here so the Queen can return to her throne and revive the magic in the city to keep it safe." Sardin said closing the door again "It's alright we will get through this Lyra." He said then took off down from the tower again.

"No injuring people of this city if you can do a small barrier to hit and spread through as if drawing them into the light barrier around these crystals it will be the one thing to use on them. If you can just through the citizens into the protective barriers or you will have not only me to face for hurting one of these citizens but Alissia as well." Sardin said pointing to the first one who demanded to know why Sardin was here.

A bright flash followed by three more as 4 more people landed wrapped in fire one being Alterik. Sardin sighed seeing more help. "Alterik I don't know what you know but here is the jist. A darkness has found its way in setting the trapping barrier up, a few I been to the first 4 guard towers only two had a few people in them Lyra is in that one we just came out of.

The rest of the unprotected townsfolk are controlled tossing them into the light barriers around the crystals rips the darkness out of them freeing those controlled but they pass out soon after being freed and the energy of darkness pulled out of them gets destroyed.

If we free all the citizens we will draw out the one behind this. Or that was my plan until these three arrived as well as you. The controlled citizens are getting more aggressive the more I been tossing into the barriers to free." Sardin said telling of his plan to note the easy way he found to get to the one behind this.

Alterik ran up grabbing Sardin glaring at him. "Fool how do you know! what if one of those you threw in there was the one behind this if what I think is the case the one behind this was controlled as well meaning if that is true the same can be said for that person being freed leaving the one that seems behind this ending up being a citizen still controlled!" Sardin growled annoyed hearing this.
