Grey Moonfang IV (Strike 2 kiddo. Regret doesn't have a PokeDex. That's something you don't earn till later.)">Ready? Ready for what?<" The Ponyta asked with a tilt of his head to one side. He had no idea what this odd creature and the Bronzor beside it were talking about.
After a moment's pause an idea seemed to spark in the Ponyta's mind, the Pokemon taking a few slow steps back ">Hey now...you aren't thinking of...<" The neighed nervously, continuing to back up. Eyes wide, the Fire-Type would attempt to Growl menacingly to ward off the pair...but instead only managed a half garbled sound ending in a squeak. It was more likely to make one feel bad about trying to attack the creature then anything else...

((Incorrect. SPD dictates who attacks first and who defends first, however it doesn't mean the attacker has to roll first. With both states available you could have easily set up a defense in that first post of yours when you posted your Bronzor's stats.))

[-1 TO BRONZOR'S ATK!]As an odd sort of luck would have it the pathetic display would actually succeed; who wouldn't feel bad attacking someone who reacted like that to a fight?
Oblivious to this fact however the Ponyta would continue to back away, eyes darting back and forth as he searched for an opportunity to run. It was instinct. Even if he didn't actually run away from the battlefield itself, every muscle in his body would scream at him to take off...to run circles around any opponent that came at him. Speed was a speciality of his kind...it was the main reason they'd survived for so long...

Though this Sandshrew was a fighter as he would bring up both digging claws and would shift his feet in the desert sands. He had always loved the idea of a boxing someone's ears in, though a Mankey was a poor subsitute for such an ambition considering they didn't have a lot of ears to box as the pokemon would see his opponent racing towards him and stop the shuffling of his feet.
He would simply side step as he reaches out for that arm that was aimed at him as a scratch as he threw his hip into the move as he would pull that pokemon off of his feet as he hoped to trip him and flip him with the same movement so that he would land on his back in front of him.
Holding that arm and pose over him ...it wasn't hard to figure out what he would do next if this defense worked.

The air was a whirlwind then ....as a flutter of wings would be the boy's only warning. It came from the sky as she would hurl herself downwards with her wings pulled backwards in a stooping dive. The master of the skies here, a pokemon that ran this place .....as surely as the strongest predatory in this land as the Aerodactyl raised her eyes and in the boy's face she would roar her challenge to the world. She had missed him by inches, her weight enough to crush him as she lands on the ground lashing her tail wildly.
Elijah had stumble upon the fight of his life.

(11 - 2 +5 = 5 = 9dmg)
The attack would catch him before he could get away ...knocked over. Those wheels would spin harder and faster as she made it a point to literally try and peel away. The power of the earth had quell in her to the point of being nothing more than little bits of threaded power.
It was time to defend now.

That battle would end then ...as the Sandshrew went down. She would lay out on the ground as the wheel came to a stop with her stretch out on the sands out like a light. Her eyes were spinning, but she didn't try to make a move as she simply lay there on her belly.
This fight was over and in their favor, and they were now free to move forward once more.

8/200 Fang stood there for a second before padding back over to Kane. The boy had given him a pat on the head and then picked up the Poochyena. The dark pokemon could use a break after that battle. Fang's eyes lightened back to normal and he closed his eyes. Time to rest a little before the next battle. Kane continued forward, his Poochyena's head resting against his shoulder and one arm holding the pokemon securely. He was still hoping to come across a fire type, more specifically a ponyta. If he thought hard enough about the pokemon, would it pop up? The boy began to think of the flaming mane and tail, the creamy white body... Backpack// x1 Potion, x1 Poke ball [8/10]

A Diglett's head would pop out of the ground. He was watching them ....as all Diglett did in such a place before he would go back underground. He fought when he wanted to fight, and watched when he wanted to watch ....this time ...he only wanted to watch.

Hopefully there was one somewhere around.. Kane continued forward. He glanced around and then told Fang not to over exhaust himself. The desert seemed to be coming to an end. Though they would have no luck as they left the desert to find the ground growing harder, but starting to arch upwards. The land slowly building to the slope that one's eyes could easily find. The Mountain range that darted upwards as the climate here would seem to get a bit cooler.
From the fire ....to the freezer, this was an very interesting trip.
Fossil Mountain
Here, the past is buried and the future continues on. But deep in the heart of the mountain it is said, that nothing is every truly forgotten ....and there is rumors that the master of time lives here. Though as one makes the climb, the creatures that lives here find happiness in the coolness of the mountain and it's solid and rocky terrian. Thus, it's a mix of the two that call this place their home.
