*Hikaru was a bit discouraged that he couldn't read much expression from this guy, but he was at least eased by the fact that he didn't seem to be hostile towards him so far. He nodded, trying to remember exactly what he had read and to form it into some kind of words.*
Oh...um...well...I read something that kind of mentioned stuff about such incredible heights or devastating depths with love...undertaking more than is manageable...*cough*...betrayal or injury to the hearts of others and oneself...
*He sort of muttered this last part, as if he hated this part the most. He looked at the ground a moment. Feeling like a child talking to a teacher. When he heard Keira's voice he cringed, must she hear this conversation? He looked at her a moment and tired to smile.*
Hi Keira...Um, no, I'm fine...thanks.
((*Cringes as an English major* Shakespearian...sorry, had to be snobby for a second...Ok, better now! haha))

*Keira smiles at the two declining and decides to go into the kitchen to make her something to eat. She hadn't really payed attention to what the two mention were talking about and while she s in the kitchen, she couldn't even hear a mumble*

Cap's face didn't change much upon hearing his comment murdered so quickly. He smirked...not that anyone could see..and responded back.
Wrong. This is it. You have two hearts you strive for and you dance from one to the other but never close enough to let them touch you. That is sickening. A man who plays with the hearts of women only to hurt them is not a man. If you keep doing what you are doing. You will no longer be a man but a failure. You can only go back and forth on the ice before you cut a hole in it and drop to the murky depths.
((**pokes H^1** You know I am playing with you! I don't know...I just think it is weird to break away from a convo when two people are talking so I usually don't. ))

*Hikaru felt like just collapsing when Cap so bluntly told him he was wrong. The more Cap spoke the more Hikaru felt as he was being stabbed over and over. Clearly talking to him was a bad choice on Hikaru's part. He felt pretty sick and useless at this point. The worst part is that it was all truth, except one point that he disagreed on. His voice was a bit sheepish but he felt what he was saying was true.*
Er...but...I mean, I'm doing it to hurt anyone, that is wrong...I don't want to hurt anyone...I'm pretty messed up, but not I'm that terrible...or maybe I am...*sigh*

*Keira finishes what she wanted to get from the kitchen to eat and makes her way upstairs kicking off her shoes. She had waved to teh two still not really even knowing what they are talking about. Keira then makes it to her bedroom and eats her lunch*

Cap's eye widened and narrowed again.
What you don't realize is how much more you are hurting people by doing what you do. Save the hearts of those two women, pick one and deal with the other gently. Also, don't feel so attacked...you are a man, not a lame dog being kicked. Dogs lie down and take it...men see their wrong and work to correct it. But it isn't me to judge. I am not a justice...it is you to realize your own injustice to others...just remember...I see everything here...it keeps you safe but also makes your life less private...

*Synge woke up alone and instantly remembered the image of her opened eye. She sighed and sat up. She wasn't feeling any pain today, that was at least good. She got up and showered and got ready for the day. She changed into some clothes and then made her way out into the hall. She saw Hikaru and Ben's friend Cap talking and wondered what they could be talking about. She also saw Keira leave with her lunch and wondered if everything was alright with her. Shrugging she walked to the bar area and then to the kitchen, waving to the two on her way, but not saying anything. Inside the kitchen she rummaged around looking for something to drink and maybe something to eat. She could hear a bit of what Cap was saying to Hikaru and she perked her ears up to listen, she couldn't help it. She didn't really like the he was insulting Hikaru and when she heard that he saw everything here she felt a bit annoyed.*

*Hikaru felt his stomach weigh down more and more as Cap continued talking. He knew that Cap was right, he probably was hurting them. However, he was thinking it might be best to just leave both Clever and Keira alone completely. He felt that he would never be able to be what either deserved at this point. He saw Synge walk by and tried to smile but couldn't one out. He was glad she went straight for the kitchen. He couldn't really internalize the fact that this man saw everything in the tavern, but it was enough to make him realize he would have seen his kiss with Synge. He felt nervous and he realized something else.*
Does...did you...Ben knows, doesn't he?
*He sighed, he really already know the answer would be yes. He shook his head, feeling like an idiot. Cap was right. The truth sucked, but here it was. He spoke as if to himself.*
I always knew I was just a boy...they need a man, that isn't me though...

Yes...Ben knows and he forgave you already. You really have him misjudged. It's you who wears such heavy weights that you could take off any time you wanted.
Cap had seen Synge but he was not in the condition to speak to her and didn't know what he would say.

*Hikaru didn't feel any different when Cap confirmed his thoughts. He already knew it was true. He looked at him a bit strangely for a moment, as he thought of the last thing he said. It was right that he carried weights, but were they just so easy to take off? Was this something Ben found easy to do? He wondered. He wasn't sure what to say now, he felt awkward having spoken to this strange man that he barely knew.*

He nods and then pauses for a moment as he observes Hikaru.

*Synge leaned close to the kitchen entrance and listened for Cap's answer. Even though Hikaru's question was vague she had understood the meaning. When Cap answered she felt angry. He really had seen the kiss between them, and then told Ben about it. She was a bit angry about that, but she understood why he would tell Ben. Then thing she didn't like was that he could apparently see everything that happened here. She straightened up nervously. He could probably see what she was doing right now! She nervously moved around the kitchen, pretending to look for something as she thought. Why did he see everything? What was the purpose? She stopped before and dropped the glass that she was holding, it shattered on the ground. Her heart raced, he could see everything. That meant he could have seen her...and Ben...together...and all that they did. He eyes welled up with tears of anger.*

*Hikaru blinked at Cap's response. It was strangely kind. He nodded and was about to say something when he heard the glass breaking in the kitchen. He looked in that direction curiously and then remembered Synge was in there. He got concerned but didn't want to overreact in front of Cap. He called out to her.*

He felt the strange feeling of anger but he couldn't concern himself with it. He made his way to the stage and started to run his hands along the portrait of the shadow band.
