Diviana smiled, glancing down for a moment at his swaying tail. "Ah, then welcome! It's so nice to see new faces." She picked up her drink an took a sip of it. "Maybe I could take you on a tour or something..." Marie just rolled her eyes at her sister's flirtiness. Meir chirped again. Ray and Drake finally finished their arguement and resumed paying attention to their drinks. Each one glanced around to see who else might have been there.

"That would be lovely." Artemis said happily. Fang yawned and looked around at all the people that were there. He never thought in his life that he'd ever be around this many people. Especially people he didn't know. It just seemed like a dream to him, how calm everyone was. It made him feel less tense about his surroundings.

Mikey nodded then stood up an walked over to the corner where he'd left his bag. After a moment he pulled out his sketchbook and pencil. He sat back down and began to doodle on an empty page.

Tasi said bye to Lara. "Maybe we can hang out some time."
Tasi and Brylea walked back over to Fang and Artemis.
"Well, we're going to go. This was a flop."
The both said bye and walked out the door.

Diviana's amber eyes sparkled lightly, her tail twitching at the tip. "Should we set a date then?" Marie just sat there with her drink, now wondering if she should have made it alcoholic rather than a virgin.

Artemis thinks about this for a second. "If you wouldn't mind, fair maiden, I'd like to get to know you better. Then we shall see. Though I must say, I'm very flattered that a beauty such as yourself would take intrest in the likes of me." He says and gives her a warm smile. Fang rolls his eyes, knowing that Artemis had taken a few of his romance novels once and soaked it up into that sponge brain of his. "I'm going to get something at the bar, Artemis... I might stay there for awhile. Have fun.." Fang says and walks over to the bar.

Diviana pouted playfully then smiled. "Alright then. That sounds fair. What would you like to know?" She looked him over for a moment, still smiling. Very attractive...and I adore the ears and tail...

Artemis thinks for a awhile, then finally speaks. "Whatever you'd like to tell me about yourself. Anything that you think would be apropriate for me to know and anything that your comfortable telling me about. I'm all ears." His ears twitch once and his tail continues to sway back and fourth slowly.
Fang looks over at Mikey. "Do you have any coffee?" He asks and sighs.

"not ready.... but I can have some for ya in just a minute..." he nodded and stood from his seat, laying his sketchbook down on the barstool he'd been sitting on. "I'll be back in just a minute..." he then turned and dissappeared into the kitchen.

Laramie sighed. The little conversation she'd had with Tasi was gone. Her amber gaze strayed down toward her book, as she grumbled to herself. Feeling the need to have at least some sort of conversation, she began reading aloud to herself:
"So why this storm?" said Mespa, who was a black woman, renowned for her resilience, but who now looked close to being washed away by the rain beating down on the women's heads. "Why are you so surprised that the heavens complain?" Diamanda said. "Didn't we know the world would be turned upside down by what just happened?"

A glance was spared toward Fang, but quickly returned to her reading:
Joephi fought with the sail, cursing it. "Indeed, isn't this the way it should be?" Diamanda went on. "Isn't it right that the sky is torn to tatters and the sea put in a frenzy? Would we prefer it if the world did not care?"
"No, no of course not," said Mespa, holding on to the edge of the pitching boat, her face as white as her close-cropped hair was black. "I just wish we weren't out in the middle of it all."
