fastlighting2008 i have played the flute for soo long... try like since 95'... thats 5th grade. and i also play the piccolo since the 9th grade. i love it. it sooths me and it lets me get out what feels i need too get out! Did you know, that they say, that the flute is the hardest instrunment in the world too play. go figure. and if you didn't know that i am guy flute. just too let you know!! I'm writing music!and I made a 2 minute solo for the flute. It sounds soft then it gets faster and louder and crazyer like sex!...acctualy i wouldn't know gonk but It sounds good so far.The band at my school is performing it at the end of the year biggrin

Sasukefan17 FLUTES RULE THE WORLD~~~ =D YOU KNOW IT!I made a 2 minute solo for the picc and then the ending has a 3 minute drum solo then everyone just blasts a high B at the end it sounds stupid but its pretty funny cuz ppl think its over when its not

ok ummm i asked my derector if i could barrow his piccolo and it was gross!! he told me not to clean it but i had to i aint putting my mouth on that thing so my mom said y dont u use rubbing alcohol so i said ok i will try it so i did now i aint a piccolo player so i dont no what it sounds like but i no its not playing i need to no if i did somthing wrong or maybe it was like that before........grrrrr.......I NEED HELP!!!!!

piccolo is a very delicate instrument and it probably just needs to be tuned up
I've been playing picc for a year and flute for 5 years...!
I also play trombone... I'v played that for 2months!
I still like flute the most though!

animelover1221 there are more flute players than you think. one marching band i saw had almost 14 flutes!!!!! thats a lot of flutes. Chya! We have like 20, but that's for CB. There are 5 of us who are in Band Front, so there are 15 during MB.
