He hadn't realized that those in the lake were not, in fact, in their clothes from the day before, but were swimming in undergarments of various degrees, some of which were probably a bit more see through than his company warranted. Well, he hadn't realized until it was too late, anyway. Jerking his head away from the lake, Liam lifted his eyes to the canopy, wincing a bit at his juvenile mistake, letting his eyes wander anywhere else but towards the water.
Lumina's greeting was a blessing, the awkward meter reaching critical mass just as her sunny voice caught his attention, giving him something to look at other than the swimmers. He grasped the straw eagerly, turning to face the girl and her pokemon, making a mockingly snooty face at the comment about his hair.
"Hey, that's not nice. This is the new fashion statement in Katarina, you're just jealous," the healer teased back, striking a faux-modeling pose before letting his eyes drift to the eevee. "Well it's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Chai," He replied to the eevee, grinning at how well the watcher and pokemon seemed to mesh together. From what he could tell, they fit together like two peas in a pod.
What was with the pea jokes all of a sudden?

Oyumi was quick to flash Rhia a smile, and she nodded at the inquiry as to her sleep.
"Yeah. It feels safe here, so I ended up passed out a lot quicker than I'd thought I would. Slept all night and ended up waking up at a decent hour," she said lightly, glancing around at the others that had begun to gather.
Rhia's observation made her laugh softly. It felt so weird thinking of herself as being part of the green caravan now. The caravan felt like it'd been forever ago in light of everything that had happened recently...

As Anise dished up a serving of the apples, she looked over at the Eevee. "So you caught the Eevee from yesterday? Congrats! She's such a cutie."
Seeing another trainer drift in her direction in the lake, Anise waved her over. "Join the fun, I've got plenty of spiced apples, and can make more if we run out."

 "Haven't you heard? Katarina is so four days ago. I'll say curls is the new 'in' here in these parts." Lumina grinned, "Shall I help you catch up in the styles?" She asked, her palms up as she wiggled her fingers to show she was more than willing to help curl his hair.
"And you should try these apple thingies, they're pretty good." She had to push Chai's nose out of her bowl again.
Looking up at Liam, Chai gave an innocent, "Vree!" as she wound herself between his feet. Lumina couldn't tell if the eevee thought he had treats, or if she just liked messing with people.
Turning to Anise, "I did! This little girl came right out in front of us. I threw down my entire bag of berries to catch her attention." Lumina laughed.

"Really? Well damn, I need to get with the times! You should help me with it. We can sit on my bed and paint our toenails and oh-my-gawd, talk about boys."
That last part was especially painful, and it showed on the healer's face, his wince scrunching up the grin he had plastered on his face. Still, it smoothed out fairly easily, and Liam winked at the girl, glancing down at the afore mentioned food. "Smells delicious. I'm so hungry, I could eat a whole Rocket grunt," came his reply, altering the line from the disney movie. The grin only broadened when Chai began rubbing up against his legs, and he reached down to scratch the top of her head, amused.
(Unfortunately, I has class now -- pretend Liam went off to... bathe at the other end of the lake or sumthin >.> )

 Corn hauled herself out of the lake, completely soaked. The extra weight of the water made her move slowly as she stumped over to the cooking apples, looking kind of monstrous. She sat and asked politely, "May I have some s'well? Ain't got much to trade for it, though."
As she sat, she wondered if Emily would like to play with the Rocket-bred Eevee.[[Gotta go take a shower for reals so I can go to school. BBS, unless I take too long in the shower and have to go.]]

Lisa, being ever prepared, had, in fact, packed a swim suit for the trip. It was fairly conservative for a two piece, and was a rich blue. Lisa wove at the other people in the lake as she walked in herself. The coolness of the water sent goosebumps crawling up her skin, but she waded in none the less, approaching the group. "Good Morning! This sure beats being locked in a cell, doesn't it?"
@Landlu- er, Land bound people.
Meanwhile, back on land, Bandit fell out of a tree, clutching a half eaten berry and looking rather stunned. I hope someone catches him!

"How lucky! Everyone else seemed to be throwing everything they had, too. I only brought the one pokeball, adn I used it to catch this pretty lady." She pointed at Halcyon, who had fluttered down from the tree she'd slept in an perched on Anise's shoulder.
Anise turned toward the other hungry trainer who approached and said, "No trade needed! It's free for the taking!" She served up another portion and handed it to the trainer.

Ezekiel and his murkrow both looked up at hearing some odd sound on the tree they were standing under. Since Carter hadn't responded yet, the researcher had gone under the shade of this tree, he tilted his head as he saw something yellow and black. "Huh..."

"I've never been locked in a cell, so I can only guess, but I'll say it probably does," Rhia agreed as Lisa walked up. ((Now I want her to get kidnapped the next time a Rocket plot comes up. XD Just so she can know. Too bad big events are only once a year or so.))
It occurred to Rhia that they had never allowed Fuu his proper wash that first night in Motterossa. "Say, wouldn't Fuu want to come swimming too? I'm debating letting Aimee out, but I know I'll need to feed her and Castor as soon as we get out of here anyway." She ducked under for a moment to soak her hair and then popped up again, swiping the water from her face. She leaned her head back to scrub her hair out some while she talked to Oyumi, still trying-- and failing-- to keep her upper body underwater.
"I'm hestiant to let Aimee out at all with Rockets around. When I got her Raina, her previous trainer, told me she had been rescued from the Rockets. It's part of why she isn't much of a battling Pokemon."

@Trist [[Look out below!]] Bandit squeaked as he realized he was falling. He flailed about before landing smack on poor Ezekiel's head. Bandit chittered as he realized he'd impacted someone's head. He flipped over quickly, both physically and in attitude. he squeaked, peering down to look at Ezekiel's face, The little pichu smiled, despite having lost his berry.@ Lakers
Lisa laughed, "Count your blessings, Rhia. It was awful." She stretched and looked at the lady she didn't know, "Hello, I don't believe we've met. I'm Lisa Mason, pleasure to meet you, although the circumstances could be better." Lisa held out her hand for Oyumi to shake, smiling.

Thankfully it was just a pichu. Ezekiel picked the little pokemon off his head and held it. "Hmmm....I seen you before...." He petted the small pichu gently while looking for any injuries. Velasco the murkrow just clicked his beak, apparently not happy that his owner was used as a landing point.

"I was actually thinking about letting Fuu out earlier..." Oyumi said lightly, glancing towards the shore where her clothes were absently. She knew he'd definitely enjoy a quick swim - the dust from the rock slide was still in his fur, and she knew he'd like to wash it out.
"You could probably let Aimee out without much of a problem. With all the trainers around, she wouldn't be in any danger... And I bet Fuu would be willing to keep watch over her just in case there was a chance something would happen," she added softly, glancing back towards Rhia with a smile.

Carter was in a daze, lost in the obsurdity, and wonderful fantasticness of the scene before him. A familiar voice brought him crashing to the present and he shot up, turning bright red as he realized he had been staring. "Oh uh..hey Zeke, I was doing anything wrong, really I wasn't looking."
Midsentence a rather small something fell onto the man's head and Carter was reduced to a snorting giggles, "Oye mate, I think you've got a Pichu on your head." He moved a bit closer to the man and the familiar Pichu, "Bandit right?"
