(( Yes you did... also...do you really know what Cap meant by the whole "8 of hearts" comment, I mean you took it and ran with it so I wasn't going to interrupt you. ))
Ben was smoking a cigarette as he read over the study of the eye, he knew he couldn't bring her eye back but he could at least try to doctor what was left. Somehow, he felt she would prefer it that way. The heat of the sun was warming him and the smell of the salty air was also soothing to him. He continued to enjoy the whole atmosphere as he wrote notes and read.

((haha I was typing on my PSP, that was the issue...But about that, I looked it up and went with the general idea of what I thought it meant. I was thinking of having Hikaru ask Cap though, just to clarify. For now, Hikaru thinks it is what I think it is.))
*Hikaru felt an uneasy feeling in his stomach, as though he was forgetting to do something he needed to. He sat thinking about anything he might have left undone but it was hard to come up with much. He wanted to talk to Keira still, maybe try apologizing again for not being there for her the other night. He wasn't going to use the excuse that Clever was the one who locked it, he felt that would only make it worse. He sighed, not sure of what to do. He was kind of wishing he had someone to talk to about these things. He thought of Synge, but didn't want to wake her up if she was sleeping, not to mention he would have to go to Ben's room to find her.*

(( Yeah, I check the forums using my Blackberry..itty bitty screen..sometimes but I wouldn't dare try posting from it. I am amazed they let you have it at college during class. As for the 8 of hearts, there was no deep tarot meaning or anything of that sort, the meaning was a lot more general. However, since you think it is something different that's fine too. I am curious to see...perhaps I should bring Cap in? ))
Ben paused in his deliberations as he thought about some of the things he would have to do to even try and aid in the healing of Synge's eye and it made him grow a bit uneasy, he would doctor it but he wasn't sure about doing anything too intense...he also realized that he really knew very little about it.
For a moment, he stopped and wondered about things. What if Synge wanted it this way? Or what if the eye had something magical about it...he didn't really know for sure what to do about magical things, Cap had always been there for that. He waited silently as he rested his eyes.

((haha I thought you would have a meaning behind it, that is usually something you would do. But actually I looked up a tarot meaning and a general meaning of sorts. Both actually fit Hikaru to a certain extent. So perhaps it was just a good idea on your part that turned into something more. But yes, Cap would be good if you want to bring him.))

Ben wrote several notes down and finally got up and stretched. Closing the books and putting them under his arm, he heads out for a walk.

*Hikaru looked down at himself, wondering what to do. He thought of what kind of person he was. He had never been one to be afraid, and yet, here he was, afraid to go knock on a door. It was Synge that he was afraid of, he didn't want to see Ben open the door, or see Synge in Ben's room. It was hard enough to put her in his bed that one time many nights ago. He didn't want to be anywhere near that again, at least not until he had time to cool off. He sighed and continued to stand, still considering going. He was being very fickle today.*

Cap had spent a long time out of the tavern and he felt it was time to head back to the tavern to update his work at the tavern to hopefully provide better service for his client. He strolled down from his hiding place in the mountains and entered the tavern, looking around for anyone he knows or anyone who he might want to know.

*Hikaru was startled when Cap came inside the tavern. He had been so lost in his own thoughts that the sudden noise disturbed him. He turned quickly and looked to see who it was. He was less than thrilled to see Cap. It was as if the people he didn't want to see were just jumping out of nowhere to mess with his head even more. However, he could make use of this, remembering his own attempted interpretation of the subject he had last spoken about with this man. All these thoughts flew threw his head quickly. In a moment he was smiling a bit weakly towards Cap and nodding a greeting.*
H-hey there...Looking for Ben?

Cap's face is mostly covered so seeing any facial expression change is rather hard to do. It appears as thought he remained his normal self. He wasn't the best at conversation and was certainly not easy to read but from the way he carried himself, Hikaru could tell that he wasn't treating him in a negative way.
What did I mean? Meanings are best determined by ones self. What do you think I meant? I will tell you when you are wrong.

*Keira walks up to the tavern door after a whole night spent outside. She enters and finds cap and hikaru talking. She smiles at the two and waves.*
Afternoon you two! Want anything to eat? Drink?
*Keira was excited to see Cap again. She couldn't exactly put her finger on why, but it brought a smile to her face.*
