((We should get them together and breed an army of Eevee rofl ))
Kasiya's pace was rather fast as she headed east. She wondered if she would see any wild Pokemon this time (she had in the past, but only watched them go about their business, and would occaisionally sketch them). She felt rather important this time, instead of watching other trainers battle their prized Pokemon, she too could join in on the fun. She passed the sign that pointed the direction to Diglett's cave (a place she would avoid probably for the rest of her days, stemming from a nasty fall through a weak floor when she was small child and broke her leg) and knew she was getting close. She chould hear a few trainers in the distance, shouting orders and encouragement to their Pokemon. Her heart raced a little bit faster.

((Total World Domination...with EEVEE))
There was a loud commotion in the city. Many people roamed the cobblestone streets. "We're here, Eevee!" Kilik looked down at the smiling Pokemon. It cooed. Just to make sure of any scrapes or anything of the sort, Kilik took Eevee into the Pokemon Center for a quick check up.
"Is this all you have?" Nurse Joy asked as she took the fox Pokemon from him.
"I don't capture Pokemon much..." he laughed, patting his Eevee on the head. Nurse Joy smiled and went into the back. The boy jumped onto the couch and put his backpack on his lap.
"If you want a badge..." Nurse Joy's voice said, "Then you're going to need a Water-type Pokemon. Roxanne uses Rock-Types..." Kilik looked over his shoulder at her.
"I know...but I can try..." He looked back at his bag, then at the pocket that the elemental stones rested. He didn't want to use one just yet.
"Eevee will have trouble...if you evolve it into a Vaporeon..." Kilik stood up, his bag dropping to the floor.
"I'm not evolving my Eevee yet! I can wait!" he barked, picking up his bag, "I'll be back for Eevee in ten minutes..." and he swiftly walked out the door.

There weren't any battles going on in the field at that moment, only a couple of guys working alone with their Pokemon. Overall the field was very peaceful and quiet, and Kasiya was sure there were some Pokemon hiding in the grass, just waiting to be captured. She walked slowly, keeping fairly quiet and alert. There didn't seem to be any sign of Pokemon anywhere, although Kasiya admitted to herself that she didn't even really know what she was looking for. She continued to search, her eyes scanning the ground for tracks or any sign there had been Pokemon recently, when she felt like she was being watched. She stood up, and realized one of the trainers was watching her.
"There haven't been any Pokemon around all morning," he said, shaking his head. "I don't know why."
"Well I guess I must look pretty silly then," Kasiya said, feeling her cheeks flush lightly. She looked up to meet the trainer's eye. "I didn't expect to see too many people out here this early."

After a few minutes, Kilik walked back to the Pokemon Center. Sure enough, his Eevee was sitting on the counter. "Hey there, little guy," he picked it up and began to walk out the door. Then he thought about what Nurse Joy had said about evolving his Pokemon. He shook his head and left.

"Well," the trainer said, running a hand through his short, reddish hair, "it's good to get out here early. Sometimes you get lucky and see many wild Pokemon looking for breakfast."
"That would be quite the sight to see," Kasiya smiled, looking around. She felt a little shy, and unsure of what to say next. He simply nodded, and turned, walking back over to where he had been training. Kasiya decided to find a spot to do the same, wondering when everyone else would awaken and join her.

"Where... am I?" Nina said outloud as she exited from the house. Looking southward she saw a guardtower identical to the one that she had seen earlier, when she was leaving Vermillion City. Looking north she saw a town. "So, now I'm near a town that is north of Saffron City..."
Nina spotted a small house nearby. A signpost was erected near the front door, which read POKEMON DAY CARE CENTER -- PLAYGROUND IN BACK. Walking around towards the backside of the house, Nina found around a dozen Pokemon playing on items such as slides, swingsets and tire swings, and monkeybars. A moment later a man with a kind face approached her. "Hello, Miss," he said, "are you here to drop off one of your Pokemon?" His eyes went from Nina to Misdreavus to Marill, and then back to Nina again.
"...No, sir," Nina began speaking kind of distantly, "You see... I'm travelling and was just wondering what town this was..." The man replied, "Oh, this would be Cerulean City! Typically, travellers come to the gym to see the leader perform acts with her Pokemon."
Nina's hopes rose. "What is the name of the gym leader?" "Misty-- she's a local favorite trainer."
Nina was disappointed. "Oh... I... erm. Sorry to have taken up your time..." She turned around and walked off stroking Marill, with Misdreavus close to her as usual. She headed for Cerulean City.

((Heya Will!))
Kasiya had taken maybe five steps when the young trainer called to her. "Hey, what would you say to a Pokemon battle?" He sounded enthusiastic, but Kasiya's heart stopped and her face blanched. She was glad she wasn't facing him, for fear he may laugh at her expression.
She had obviously never battled anyone other than a few wild Pokemon. Snap out of it, she told herself. You knew this would happen eventually. What would you have done if Mike or Mitsu or even Ken had challenged you to a battle? Might as well get if over with. "Sure, I'd love to," she smiled, as she turned to face him, still feeling slighlty queasy.
"Great!" he said, looking thrilled. "Two Pokemon each?"
"That's all I've got," she said with a grin. The two went to opposite sides of a small clearing that looked like it was a known battle ground. Kasiya didn't know who to send out first. Her opponent sensed her hesitation, and merely smiled before tossing his Pokeball.

((*waves* Hey Anya! ^^))
Nina arrived in the town, exhausted as there was quite an incline to climb to get there. Though she was tired, Nina immediately searched for the Pokemon Center, and after a short while had found it.
She entered the glass sliding door, and approached the front desk to greet another Nurse Joy, and requested that her Pokemon be healed. Nina recalled Marill into her Pokeball but not Misdreavus into hers, at her request. The Nurse took them and Nina sat on a bench, and waited no longer than five minutes before her Pokemon were returned. She released Marill from its Pokeball, and the three of them made their way into another of the Pokemon Center's rooms to take a nap. She got under the covers and closed her eyes, holding Marill like a teddy bear and could sense Misdreavus resting on her stomach. Eventually she dozed off, incurring many dreams...
Nina was in a warped room. It was dark, and the floors and walls were colored a deep purplish-black. There was an entrance, which she was standing at. A woman sat in a very regal and elegant chair in the middle of the room. "Is that... a doll? Why is she holding a Pokeball?" Nina asked, her voice echoing. Approaching the chair, she could see the image of the woman in the chair-- she had shiny, dark green hair and cold eyes that matched the shade of the walls and floor. Her face was devoid of expression. She seemed to be dressed in a red uniform with yellow buttons.
Nina gasped.
"...You..."

The trainer's Pokeball opened to reveal a Sandshrew. Kasiya grit her teeth and knew she shouldn't send out Pikachu. She'd seen many experienced trainers defeat Lt. Surge in the gym by using ground types. She let her own Pokeball fly, and it struck the ground, revealling Eevee. Its tail flicked wildly, and it looked excited at the thought of battle.
"I'm not holding back," the trainer cried. "Go, Sandshrew! Use Scratch attack!" The shrew-like Pokemon darted forwards, its eyes focused on Eevee.
"Uh...Eevee! Dodge it!" Kasiya cried, after a split second thought. Eevee tumbled out of the way of the oncoming Sandshrew, who looked annoyed at missing. It went in for another attack, its claws raking Eevee's nose as she countered with a hard Tackle attack. The Sandshrew stepped back, blinking, and Eevee came at it with another fierce Tackle attack. The repeat attack left Eevee open to another scratch, which she took on her right shoulderblade. She yelped in pain, but under her trainer's encouragement, jumped back on the attack. Her next Tackle missed, and Sandshrew's claws caught a clump of her tail fur. This seemignly enraged the cute Pokemon, and she gave a fierce cry as she launched another Tackle. It hit its mark, and the Sandshrew stumbled back, then collapsed.
"Whoa," the trainer gasped, clearly impressed as he recalled his Sandshrew. "That was pretty good. Next up is Spearow!" His second Pokeball flew through the air and Spearow took flight, squaking angrily and glaring down at Eevee. Eevee was looking pretty exhausted, but glared back up at the Spearow. "Use Peck!" its trainer yelled. Spearow flapped its short wings rapidly and went into a speedy dive.
The attack hit hard, throwing Eevee back a few feet. She lay where she fell, breathing heavily and looking rather upset. Kasiya raced over to her Pokemon and scooped her up into her arms. "Don't cry, Eevee," she said soothingly. "You fought very bravely. Rest up now, ok?" She recalled Eevee, and smiled to herself as she switched Pokeballs. "I choose you, Pikachu!"
"Pi-KA!" cried Pikachu as it stepped onto the battlefield. Kasiya felt her confidence take a leap of faith knowing she had the advantage now. Spearow eyed Pikachu with a look of disgust, but didn't change its altitude. Pikachu sparked madly, staring up at its opponent.
"Thundershock, Pikachu!" Kasiya cried, and Pikachu obeyed. The electric attack shot through the air, and zapped the Spearow thoroughly. It cried out in pain, and started to fall.
"Uh-oh!" Its trainer made a mad dash for his falling Pokemon, and caught it a good four feet off the ground. "Well, that match was a shocking loss," he chuckled, recalling his defeated Pokemon and looking even more impressed than before. "No wonder you smiled when you saw Spearow, knowing you had Pikachu in reserve." He bent down and scratched Pikachu behind the ear, who looked rather pleased with itself. "My name's Raymond," he said, extending his hand to Kasiya.
"I'm Kasiya," she giggled. I have to admit though, I was afraid Eevee wasn't going to be able to defeat Sandshrew, then it would have been rather one sided."
Raymond laughed. "Well, that's how the battles turn out, huh? If I would have sent out Spearow first, you would have sent ot Pikachu. Then Sandshrew would have had an advantage. Trainers' choices make all the difference."
Kasiya exchanged PokeNav numbers with Raymond and the promised each other they'd battle again. Kasiya started to head back to Vermilion, wondering what her friends were up to.

After the odd enconter with the Gastly Mitsu merely decide to go for a walk. Ken join her along with all her items. After a quick breakfast and getting Pigy and Ralts rested up the two set off.
"We're ready to go," Ken said.
"Where's Kasiya? And Mike?" Mitsu inquired.
"We'll just have to look for them," Ken replied.
The two set off insearch of thier fellow Pokemon Trainers.
