Vilya and Tura followed Sai upon seeing the girl lying unmoving upon the ground. "Gods," Vilya gasped. "Why would she push herself to a point like that?" The gryphon stepped up silently behind her.
Tura moved closer and knelt before the young girl. She addressed the phoenix in a soft, soothing tone. With those words Tura bowed her head.
This spell required the user's undivided attention, for they not only had to recite the spell, but guide it through its process as well. It found the serious wounds both internal and surface, and slowly began to close them. Tura could feel the little energy she had left flow into her task. She stopped when her vision momentarily began to swim, breaking her concentration lest she accidentally injure her patient further. Tura paused, blinking as if she were about to fall asleep. Vilya nodded and put a hand on the feathered shoulder of her companion before relaying the information to Sai. "Don't worry." Vilya reassured him. "Tura was taught how to heal by a professional. Your friend's going to be back on her feet in no time." Tura sat quietly all the while, her head bowed, not even the tip of her tail twitched. When she had finished Vilya turned back to the silent gryphon. <...You can't even stand up can you?> There was a long pause before Vilya received a soft mental chuckle.

Kin sat down next to the two defeated opponents and acted as if nothing had happened. Kin glanced over to where Sai and the others ran to aid Minatsuki. I guess she can't control her power very well. Kin thought.
And with that, Vix dug his way up from the soil and slithered past where their fallen companion lay over to where Kin sat and circled the two beat up men.
Vix said.
Kin explained.

Tearing up, Asako wobbled over to Minatsuki, shedding her tears on her face. Her tears, glowing gently, landed on her mouth and slipped inside for Minatsuki to swallow.
Asako lamented, pausing momentarily.
Asako slightly opened her wing to show the black flare.
burned directly from her life, eating away her life energy. Being with me doesn't help her trouble; it only hastens her death... She knows this, but she won't abandon me...>

Stratus listened to this with mild shock, then relayed the information back to Sai who also appeared slightly disturbed by the knowledge of what the techniques long-term effects were.
Sai thought to Stratus.
Stratus replied.
After Tura performed her spell on Minatsuki Sai felt her pulse pick back up to a more normal pace. He carefully, so as not to jostle the sleeping girl, reached around and drew his pack off his shoulders. He removed a rolled up a blanket from within the pack and then gently slid his knees out from beneath her and placed the blanket under her head instead. He rose and donned a look of tired determination.
We've only been gone from home for a day, and something like this has to happen. No more. I wont watch any more women be hurt. Not women and not my friends, and especially not both... because I'm going to become strong enough to protect them all....
"Vilya, do you think it's safe to move Minatsuki. We should probably get her out of all of that blood and cleaned up. And I think you should do the cleaning. Somehow I don't think she would appreciate it if either Kin or I was the one to do it." Sai said.

"That's for sure." Vilya shot him a grin. I've got some spare clothes in my pack and some extra blankets. Yeah, it's safe to move her." With that Vilya carefully put her arms under Minatsuki and lifted her with slight effort. "Why don't you try and find some water? We'll need it." With that she carried the sleeping girl over to the cover of the trees. Tura with great effort managed to stand and followed on unsteady feet. She picked up the pack as well as the blanket Sai had laid out. Vilya set her patient down at the base of a large tree, where the ground was soft and spongy. The gryphon set the pack down and proceeded to take things from it, setting them gently down beside her. A cooking pot, three blankets, bandages and an ointment pot, an extra set of Vilya's clothes, a cloak and a leather satchel containing their meal for the night. The only complication someone would find...would be that all the items were no bigger than someone's fist. "do you want me to get those?" Vilya asked her companion with a hint of uneasiness in her voice.
Vilya sighed, moving to hold one hand over the pile of miniature supplies.
"Tollere incanta."
The items gave a shudder and very slowly, began to grow back to their normal size. In no time at all the rest of Minatsuki's injuries were treated and bandaged, she was wearing new clothes ((You pick what they look like BloodHuntaSIA)) and was sleeping between two thick blankets with Vilya's cloak resting on top. "There, now all we need is water, and a fire and we can make dinner." She smiled at her companion before waving to Kin and Sai, giving them the okay to come over.

"I've got some water here." Sai said and removed the flask from its spot on his pack. He tossed it to Vilya. "And we had a fire pit set up." He looked around and found the place where the ring of rocks and the firewood in it had been. It was all still there, but it had trampled and knocked around.
Stratus retrieved Sais staff and returned it to him. The two of them then went over to the pit, Sai using the staff for support, and rearranged the stones back into a circle and arranged the wood into a small cone like shape once again. Stratus sat his taloned and dexterous fore paw on Sais shoulder and Sai focused. He felt energy flow from Stratus into himself and it gave him enough to perform the simple spell.
"Ignis." Sai said while pointing his palm at the fire pit. A small flame came to life deep in the little cone of wood and slowly began to grow, consuming the wood and creating light and heat in its place. "There, fire's started." Sai then sat down on the ground near the fire, with Stratus curled up behind him, leaning against his partner.

Vilya thanked him and emptied the contents into the cooking pot, setting it within the ring of stones to boil. She rummaged through the satchel, pulling out potatoes, carrots and several large strips of dry, smoked meat.
you trying to catch something in the dark.> There was a small pause in the conversation, Vilya finished. Tura bowed her head, turned and disappeared slowly into the darkness. Vilya began to peel and cut the vegetables with a small hunting knife she kept on her belt, grumbling to herself as she worked. "Stubborn gryphon. She was going to go whether I agreed or not." It was not long before a wonderful smell filled the air as the meat and vegetables began to cook. Vilya had added a few spices as well, just before she took the pot away from the fire.

Vix again hide himself underground as Kin walked over to the now lit fire and sat down there while folding his arms. Theres something about Sai that keeps drawing more combatants around. It's almost working too well. Kin thought as he studied Sai and then the newcomer Vilya. She still has energy left even after that spell she used, shes good. Kin then rested his eyes, looking as if he was in some sort of meditation. Kin's mind was sort of spinning and flustered with thoughts and kept his eyes closed to help himself focus and reason out what was next to come. He was to only sleep a few hours and make sure he and Vix kept guard most of the night. In the morning he expected to make it to the next town where he would gain another mark.

Vilya served the meal into several simple wood bowls, gave Sai his and got up. "When your friend comes around you should take her some, it's not the best grub in the world, but it does give you your strength back." She looked over at the other boy, sitting in silence, eyes closed across the fire pit. Taking one of the bowls she made her way over. "Here." She said quietly, holding the bowl out to him with a warm smile. "You should eat as well."

"I don't need it." Kiro said firmly and shot his eyes open into a quick glare at Vilya who offered him food; his golden cat eyes were deep and depressing but at the same time, frightening.
Kin thought to Vix in annoyance.
Vix replied.

Vilya recoiled, but not out of fear. She saw the sadness in his eyes and was taken aback. "Well." she began softly. "I can't force you to eat. It'll be in the pot if you change your mind." She returned Kin's portion to the pot and sat quietly to eat her own. The concern she felt did not lessen, yet it was foolish she thought to bother questioning him. He did not strike one as a conversationalist. When she was finished she placed the bowl by the fire, took up her first aid supplies and went over to treat the wounds of their unconscious opponents.
The wounds were severe, but not life threatening. The stump that was left of Bron's arm had been cauterized by Minatsuki's fire. She made short work and finished by tying them back to back with the rope she had. Standing up Vilya slowly made her way back to the fire. "So, you're all combatants right? I guess you'd be heading to the capital then."

"Not yet. We still need quite a few marks." Sai said between bites of his stew. He quickly finished off the bowl and, using Stratus for support, he rose to his feet and set the bowl next to the other one by the fire. He then returned to Stratus.
Sai said and sat down again resting his back against his feathery companion.

Vilya nodded. "I recall there being a sage in the town I am headed to not half a day's journey from here. People say he's quite skilled, he works with dragons mostly." Tura's sudden mind speech made Vilya jump. She turned around just as the black gryphon lay down behind her, the firelight glinting off her glossy feathers. Vilay asked, leaning back against her companion. She would never get used to Tura's sudden comings and goings Tura blinked slowly, she was still very tired. Looking over to the feathered dragon Stratus she spoke in thoughts only he could hear. She bowed her head in gratitude. Vilya stifled a yawn and pulled her blanket over Tura's back. "You should keep warm."... Tura rolled her eyes. Her companion made a face in reply and took their last blanket over to Sai. "Here, I think you need this more than I do."

Stratus thought to Tura.
"Thank you." Sai said and took the blanket, spreading it over himself. "Hmm, dragons. Most likely of the scaly fire-breathing variety.",

Fenrir stopped, and Raidek tilted his head back, sniffing the night air.
Raidek's stomach let out a fierce rumble of hunger and sighed. It had been two days since his last meal and weariness was starting to take its toll.
Raidek looked to his companion his eyes displaying a great annoyance at the question; sniffing at the air again, he turned his head.
Adjusting their direction, they must've walked for a good twenty minutes or so before he spotted the fire.
With a grumble, Fenrir layed down as Raidek drew his hook swords, and began walking. He lept into the air, using the hook of his swords to climb up through the branches, making his way from tree to tree, getting closer and closer to the edge of the forest where the fire was. He stopped on the nearest tree and looked down, "Almost asleep it seems..." Mumbling to himself, he smiled and put away the hook swords. "Factus umbra..." Raidek said the words quietly, yet clearly and slowly disappeared becoming no more than a slight glimmer to anyone who might see him. Now he had to act fast, this slight shroud of invisibility only lasted for a few minutes, so leapt forth toward the camp, landing, moving quickly, searching the camp for food.
