Hello World! Or rather, Guild.
I'm quite pleased to be joining you all. My name is Katelyn. Or Moose. Or Prestigious K. Any of those will do. I enjoy role playing and will hopefully do so as a young lady by the name of Samantha Scarborough. I'm currently a high school student in the lovely United States of America. In the state of Virginia to be exact. However, I hope to move across the continent to Seattle, Washington sometime soon. However, the probability of this remains to be seen.
I'm interested in a spattering of Steampunk here and there, and would like to expand my limited knowledge.
And so, here I am.

Hi, I'm Zack (Or Tofu, or Kagasan, whatever you want to call me) and I have been interested in Steam Punk for a couple years now after reading a couple books from the "Hungry City Chronicles" by Phillip Reeve which I consider to be my ideal version of Steam Punk, if you haven't read them, I highly recommend them. I am a senior in high school, hoping to work towards some sort of degree in the feild of Information Technology, I joined this guild because Steampunk is awesome, and I decided I needed to be more active in Gaia, so yeah. Lovely to meet you all.

I'm so glad that my request to join has been accepted! Thank you.
You can call me just about everything and anything - it doesn't really matter much to me. I believe I discovered steampunk a year ago or so, but I had for a long time been fascinated by steampunk-esque films, and I fell in love with Victorian fashion when I was a little child. Please bear over with my English, as it is my second language.

Hi, I'm Brittany. Let's have fun, yes?
Perhaps I'll post more about me later. I don't feel any sort of delusions of grandeur at the moment.

Hello, I'm very excited about being accepted, and would like to introduce myself.
I'm Cherub's Rest. You can call me Cherub.
I'm into steampunk, like the rest of you....as well as many, many other things. I would have to say that H.P. Lovecraft is one of my greatest inspirations (despite his fear of water and women). Also, I do enjoy the Victorian fashion and Ideals, but personally can see eye to eye with Charles Dicken's and his blantant perspective on Victorian England and the structure that the Enlightenment ended up being.
Just a percaution to those who would find any RP's with me and Steampunk. I create the worlds to closely resemble that of Dicken's England.
anyway... Thank you for accepting me and I hope to make some new friends here.

Gracious thanks for accepting me into this guild, good ladies and gentlemen! As I stated in my request, the Anachronism Guild is the only real reason I am a Gaian at all. I love Victorian/Edwardian SF&F as well as the works of Tim Powers, China Mieville, Neal Stephenson, et al, and am very pleased to be able to have like-minded individuals with whom to exchange thoughts and ideas on this most ephemeral of styles. Cheers!

Hello, all.
Well, I suppose roleplaying in Barton got me into the Steampunk genre, and it led me to create my favorite OC, the character I named this Gaia account after. I love creating Steampunk art above all, because the imagery is so spiffy. Roleplaying, too, that's always fun.
While I'm somewhat new to the genre, I'm quickly falling into it. :3 Nice to meet you all.

I too, am somewhat of a newbie to the Steampunk genre, but I'm slowing gaining momentum.

Hello. My name is Danielle, or Danni if you would prefer to address me by. I am 17 years old. I have been roleplaying for almost eight years and have had a nack for sewing every since I was a little girl. I have just begun the transition into the steampunk world, and hope it is not too bumpy along the way. I am honored to be able to converse with others within this interest and hope to learn much for you as you from I.

He wipes his hands on his dingy bandanna before replacing it round his head, followed by removing the goggles from his eye back to on his forehead. "Well hello there," he says in a American accent, seeming to hail from much farther West than some would assume. "I'm Aku. Pleased to meetchya all."
Ok, enough with the RP for now. I'll find the threads for that later. Glad that I could become apart of this guild, as though I know mainly some basic knowledge, I want to learn more about the artistic and engineering genius of steampunk. So, you can call me Aku, it'll be the easiest to type. And now, I'm off to wander aimlessly through the different areas.

Call me "Drews" for short, 18 year old Irish man(yes, there is a dude behind this avatar, blame the gift boxes if you want to blame anything razz ). This alt is a revival of an old RP alt of mine(lost the password to the other account.) which, too, was steampunk, mainly because I was mad into it due to Last Exile. Which was, and still is, an awesome steampunk anime, I know some basic knowledge of steampunk because of said show and said diving into the sea of information called the 'internet'. Also, cities in the sky RULE!
...and yes I do that parentheses thing often(almost TOO often!).

People call me Sicilian, but you can call me Tyrus St. Reeves. I am 21 years old and currently working full time before trying to go back to school at the University of Mississippi majoring in history. Although my friends give me a hard time about it, I am an Italian/German descendant that has lived all around the United States. I look forward to talking to you all.

What ho ladies and gents! =D
I'm from the UK, Ezra Addle is my 'steampunk name' kindly provided to me by the steampunk name generator from Brass Goggles. I've been lurking around the edges of steampunk for a while now, I think it's spiffing! I love all of it, the look, the technology, the society in which it is set, the pseudo-history, the mad science! Oh my! But especially the people involved in the community as they are all very lovely and full of creativeness and energy that I wish I could emulate but sadly cannot.
I would so love to get into Steampunk, properly fall into it. So I'm here hoping to meet lots of interesting new people, learn lots of exciting things and hopefully one day be able to contribute myself.
I need to work on my 19th century vocabulary as well..
Anyway. Outside of steampunk I'm a student of Criminal Justice and I'm hoping that someone here apart from me is interested in it! I feel it would make for a most interesting role-play myself.. I have a growing thing for Dieselpunk but it's very hard to find anything about it. I've got a fair few steampunk books.. ...And if you are looking for a very good steampunk RPG, try Arcanum or another game (which is with books n' stuff innit, marvellous inventions!) called Unhallowed Metropolis.
Cheerio! ._Q

Hello world smile My name is Kim Fox but most people call me KFox. My boyfriend got me into steampunk through a game called Arcanum. It's pretty sweet. I love music, but what quasi adolecent teen/young adult person thing doesn't? Erm, I love making new friends? I'm uber excited about joining a steampunk rp because I've never been a part of one before and....any questions, just ask I guess biggrin I don't bite well, too hard mostly
