Can anyone tell me what I need to do to be able to type Chinese characters? I am completely clueless about it, but it sure would help me with all my homework if I could type it. We're generally discouraged from using pinyin except when absolutely necessary.

Oh yeah, my full Chinese name is:
Fan4 Jie2 Rui4. I have a hella time pronouncing the Rui, lol. mrgreen

You should learn pinyin, or it would be impossible to type any Chinese on the computer. I use sogou to type my Chinese into the computer.

I always do my class translations into pinyin then into characters. But I have to cram for my final this Wednesday eek to make sure I know as many characters as possible! I can read them pretty well, but when I have to put my pen on the paper and write them from memory, I take a bath in phail. crying
