High above Abregado Rae Borill stroked his beard as he watched the display, "Our victory isn't nearly as complete as I'd hoped. Too many transports slipped through our fingers... Have you located the hanger yet?"

The sensor operator leaned across the table too point to at a location some fifteen kilometer from the primary hanger, "Yes sir, their secondary hanger appears to be here..."

"Alright, signal all ships... Engage transports with the aim of their destruction... with that sort of freedom I expect them to sweep the skies of the damn things. Now lets collapse that hanger's entrance." Borill leaned back in his command chair as the turbolasers aboard the ship thrummed and sent a burning green lance of death down toward the surface.

((All personnel attempting to leave Abregado Rae... last call!!!))

Gunther rolled with the kick, spinning slightly.

"All personell! Evacuate now! Last transports are loading now!" came the announcement from the comm.

"I'll deal with you later," Gunther said to the Sith.

"Like, let's totally get the kark out of here!" Freya said, engaging the Ballet's engines.

" Status on Abregado Rae. " the Mandalorian ordered, sitting in the captain's chair while Angel's off the bridge. " It appears our last stunt at least delayed the enemies some. The base seems to be evacuating still. " " Any word on the Aldera Ballet or Freya Starsinger? " " Unknown, Sir. We can't get any specifics until we've finished system repairs and return power to normal. " In her cabin, Angel laid on her bed sideways, staring up at the ceiling, trying to figure out how an entire armada slipped past them onto the planet undetected. Her door sounded. " What is it? " The door opened and R1 rolled in. < You may find this to be of interest, Miss Angel. > " What's this? " Angel asked, taking a datapad from the droid's arm. < During our fighting, I was attempting to hack into our enemies' systems. I was unsuccessful, but I did discover some information from one of their soldiers moments before he was killed. I was unable to download all the info before he died and whatever system he had was destroyed, and I would estimate I had only gathered 30% of the information that was there. > R1 then turned around and rolled out, going back to his usual routine of keeping everything in top condition. Angel looked at the datapad. " Arch Angels? I heard of them before from someone, but what... " she stopped, her eyes widened. There was a list of members, some of the names crossed out. Below that was a list of targets. Angel Syricia was listed as vanished, her brother Damon as eliminated, and various other names branching from them, all listed as eliminated. She quickly recognized it as her family line. Oddly, there was no mention of her name. The family line was complete otherwise. Only the names and information of the members seemed to be missing parts. " So, that explains why I was born in hiding on Dantooine and left by my parents. They knew they'd come for us. " She put the datapad away and hit the comm on her wall, connecting to the bridge. " Something wrong? " the Mandalorian asked, looking at the small screen to the side of the captain's chair, Angel on the other end. " Change of plans. " Angel said. " If our friends make out okay, inform them we won't be joining them again for a while. I've got some business to take care of. "

As Zepth went to hit his ear-comm, the squad pivoted there guns to a side corridor, a man ran towards them, lightsaber in hand. They recognized this man as General Graus, one of the jedi who joined the Front.

"You all, come with me."He shouted before he cleared the hall, turning around to run back down it. When he did not hear footsteps, he turned back around."Thats an order troops, MOVE IT!" With that the squad filled in behind the jedi as they made there way down to another hanger.

"Archaras, I have them. We need to go now, we'll be the only ones left if we don't."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Gunther, OK are you? The dark side I sense."The voice of the jedi's little mentor whispered through his mind, the Master was close, and hid himself none.
The jawa himself was rushing through corridors of the base, making his way for the ship that the boy had acquired for himself. He was not a member of the GLF himself, but he helped if he could.
Chaos rocked the Abregado-Rae stronghold.
The sounds of blaster discharges and the screams of the dying filled the smoke tinged air. GLF forces staged a poorly organized withdrawl as imperial forces moved to take the base.
Amid the anarchy and the roar of battle, a wraith strode down the halls. Tall and lean and clad in stark white battle armor, the figure of Mandalore the Immortal cut through the smoke tinged air, walking the corridors of the GLF Base as though he owned it. He took no side in this conflict. It wasn’t his battle. It wasn’t his people getting killed.
He was here on other buisness.
One of the GLF's commanders, an ex Imperial Knight of all things, made off with a signifigant amount of Imperial tech, fresh off the drawing board.
If any of that could fall into his hands, it could be used to aid his people without kissing Imperial a**, an endevor well worth a little risk.
It wasn’t easy sneaking into the base. The Maki clan failed to provide him with adequate data on the placement of the sensor grid. Perhaps they didn’t know either, giving how much trouble Kusei was having with some scab guerilla fighters.
Regardless, Mandalore had to make a signifigant overland march in full battle gear, maintaining radio silence and minimal power signature to pass in under their scan; then a night’s rest under the cover of a well crafted gillie suit while GLF scouts and droids probed the area until the Imps showed up and opened the door for him.
The Rebels panicked and got sloppy. They didn’t secure their exits and instead rushed to deal with the Imps, leaving their back door wide open.
That was the easiest part of the whole trip.
Mandalore stopped in his tracks. His suit’s HUD warned him of someone’s approach. The red light of the emergency lights cast the hall in a bloody glow as the immortal raised his blaster with calculated precision.
Three Gelfers were running in his direction, terrified out of their wits. In their panic, one of them mistook the Immortal’s armor for the inferior suit that stormtroopers were forced to wear and fired, the blast cutting wide over the Immortal’s shoulder.
Three shots, three dead.
There was no hesitation, no error.
As the Immortal looked down the barrel of his smoking carbine, he saw something odd.
A stormtrooper with three blaster bolts in his chest was hustling in his direction.
“Thats it?" Mandalore the Immortal asked, unimpressed by the fact the man had eaten three courses of plasma and was hungry for more.
The trooper saw him and was puzzled for a moment, then snapped up its rifle to fire.
The Immortal beat him to the punch. A pair of bolts slammed into the man and knocked him down.
"They must've added something to the armor mix." He muttered as he checked his ammo gauge.
Then, three more troopers came around the corner, looking for their comrade.
Their hesitation didnt last as long as the first's.
But as they leveled their guns, a blaster bolt found each of their chests.
It didnt faze them at all.
Mandalore asked no questions as the troopers opened up on his position, trusting in his light shield as he sent a grenade speeding for them. The bolts cascaded of his shield.
But their armor offered no protection from the frag grenade.
Mandalore threw his armorweave sash up to protect himself from the shrapnel, chunks of rock and razor sharp metal striking against his armor and sash.
As the smoke cleared, he flipped his sash back over his shoulder and surveyed the carnage. A few of them were still twitching.
"Resiliant buggers." He said as he finished the job, blasting the survivors.
The toughness of these troopers was unusual. Typically a single bolt was enough to take a stormtrooper out of the fight. It took several rounds of blaster fire and a contained Frag Grenade explosion inside a confined cave corridor to take these men down.
They didn't even scream when wounded.
They just tried getting up for more.
The Immortal filed this data away for later study and proceeded on his way.
He had to hustle if he had any hope of catching his quarry. And if that proved impossible, then he still needed to beat the imps to the base's computers...
Ral pulled a custom blaster of BlasTech make out of his aviators jacket, leaned out the window and took aim at the two remaining pursuers. Ral fired a few shots and missed as the bikers weaved to avoid the hits. The smuggler launched a couple more blaster bolts as the Duke sped up. This time he managed to clip Standro in the arm. The rodian struggled to get his speeder bike under control and was forced to slow down while he compesated. Unfortunately Rhydo had begun to return fire and kept Ral from pressing the advantage. Ral dove back into the speeder as the red bolts flew past his head.
"Droyk it." Ral cursed.
((Just letting you know that Standro, the Rodian, isn't out of it, but you should be able to lose him with some fancy driving now, Johnny.))
"Sir Gunther, Sir Jaron! We should make haste," Iria said to the little jawa.
Gunther nodded grimly, observing the visage of the Aldera Ballet taking off. "Yes. Let us go," he said, finally shutting down the yellow blade.
Kusei Maki slipped through the tunnel entrance next to what had been their assigned target. Inside she lifted her G-3HJ Blaster Rifle to her shoulder and slowly began walking through the corridors, as she turned past one a pair of GLF Rangers stumbled into view. Instantly she fired burning the two rangers to the ground. Swiftly she slipped past the two corpses as a cell of Storm Commandos slipped into the tunnel behind her. They took up watch positions as she moved on into the tunnels. With a flick she activated her Thermoptic Camoflague system and headed for one of the turbolifts. There undoubtably was information to be nabbed, and that was one thing Kusei Maki was an ace at doin.
The Aldera Ballet promptly made it's way skyward, as Freya coaxed it's engines for full speed.
"Well, that just totally takes the cake," Freya said with annoyance. Calling into the intercom, she then said, "Hauser, Schaffer. Totally keep your eyes open. If it look like a Imp fighter, totally blast it out of the sky,"
"Understood, Lady Starsinger," Hauser replied back.
And then, there was a call from Gunther. "Myself and Iria are getting out of here, as well." he declared. "Along with Master Vrook."
((Time to go all Imperial Pursuit like!))
As the entrance to the hanger collapsed the Wombat II-star Frigate Axel Rose spotted the plume of transports as they left the ground, instantly its captain was in action, pushing his ship to its limits and pouring energy into her ion drive she leapt after the small formation. Within twenty seconds her turbolaser's were in range. The group quivered in the gunners sights, and the captain smiled coldly, "Fire main battery!"
The forward battery of two quad class-12 Turbolasers fired. The green lines of plasma energy arched into the formation nailing a Action VIII transport. With a flash its shields failed a it's engine began to sputter smoke.
As the first transport began to fall out of formation the sensor operator chimmed in, "We have positive ID on two of the ships. One is the YT-2600 Aldera Ballet out of Bespin, the other is the Action VIII Red Coinage, purportedly a smuggler ship from Ord Mantell.
Frowning the Captain turned to his weapons officer, "Prepare missiles, I want firing solutions on those transports."
High above on the Hektor's Shield Admiral Borill Elsyn watched the chase. Beside him Admiral Kull fidgeted, "Sir?"
"Send the Gladius frigate Harpin to cut them off, hopefully we'll get some prisoners out of this."
"Well, karkety flying green and purple banthas!" Freya said with annoyance. "Like, plaid banthas, even!"
"We seem to have picked up some Imperial battlewagons on our tail," Rusty said, rolling into the cockpit.
"Have you totally made sure that everything's running allright?" Freya asked the astromech.
"Yes. I did all the pre-flight checks as per your instructions." Rusty replied. "Shields and engines are at optimal output,"
"Like totally excellent!" Freya said, pushing the engines for all they were worth, taking the Ballet into space, with a transport on it's starboard side.
With a flash of turbolaser fire the Action VIII transport Red Coinage detonated and fell back toward Abregado Rae from the merciless fire of the Wombat-II Star Frigate Axel Rose. Ahead the Galdius-class frigate Harpin settled into position. It launched its complement of Predators and prepared to activate its gravity well projectors, a process that would take about a minute for the vessel.
Onboard the Axel Rose the captain snarled in frustration, vectoring shield power to the engines had only enabled him to keep pace with the remaining two vessels. With a yell one of the weapons officers stood, "We have two missile locks!"
"Fire missles," the Captain bellowed. With a series of thuds four concussion missiles rocketed out of their launch tubes and vectored toward the fleeing vessels. The captain stood there and watched the missiles arch toward their targets watching... If the enemy had countermeasures or shot the missiles out of the sky it was futile gesture. He could see the Harpin wouldn't be ready in time. Already its escorting fighters were vectoring to intercept, maybe they could catch it... maybe.
Or maybe the missiles would strike home, and the enemy would be forced to stay and play.
((I am working 2 jobs now, so I'm sorry for the lack of posting. I'm going to kinda rush my character Llednar ahead, I hope thats ok...))
2 Months Prior
Llednar stood on the deck of the Scythe-class battlecruiser, Juno. Its deck was slightly empty, due to being a public deck. A few short-range shuttles were inside, and Alek's transport as well. In his time, Llednar had became full of knowledge of the Jedi, Empire, Sith, and the struggles for freedom that have been in the galaxy for the past 150 some years...
Peace had never been one to stay, due to the Sith always trying to bring some type of "Order" into the galaxy. The man named Alek was once a Jedi Knight, a keeper of peace in service to the galaxy, and lead by the path of the light side of the Force. Llednar didn't tell him of the "magic" he used to save his life before, because he was still very unsure about everything. He turned, waving to Alek who stood in the cockpit of his transport and waved good-bye. He never knew if he would meet him again, but he hoped that one day he would... One day.
A large hand patted him on his shoulder. He turned around, and looked at the smiling man in the pale white jumpsuit.
"Alright son. From what we've been told, you got a ticker thats not tickin', but still alive in your gut. And personally, I think thats the last thing you need. Lets bring you down to the Medbay and get that out of you."
The man was older, and had a smile that could go for miles. He had probably seen a lot of battles, but was like a wise grandfather that always found joy in the smallest places.
"My names Doc Vik. You can just call me Doc if ya want."
Llednar smiled, looking at the man at first then past him. As they reached the door, a ship caught his eyes. He slowed to a stop and Doc looked over to see what was so interesting.
"What is that?"
Doc smiled.
"That my boy, is our signature CF9 Crossfire."
"Its... beautiful..."
Doc Vik rubbed his stubbled gray chin.
"I guess we can get you in the simulators after that 'thing' is out of ya. Why, you a good pilot?"
Llednar looked at him with a big grin.
"You've never heard of me? I'm the Podrace Champion of the Outer and Mid Rim Circuts!"
---------
Current Time
Abregado-Rae...
As the missles closed in, cannon fire cut into the four missles, sending them into flames. Four squadrons of CF9 Crossfires came from the blindspot of the sun, their S-Foils in attack position.
"This is Skywalk Leader! All ships, prepare to make your jumps! We'll cover you until your clear!"
Llednar, Skywalk Squadron's pilot leader made his finally look over of the radar screen.
"Alright Skywalkers! We got Bow-TIEs coming in on vector 11-0-38! Take them out before they reach those transports! Break into Formation Zulu!"
Llednar took the first Predator into the targeting screen.
"Skywalk 4, fallow me in! Skywalk 3 and 7 on stand-by! Pattern Echo, go!"
The fighters shot bursts on the quick Predator. It moved and avoided the fire of the 2 fighters. Soon two TIEs came to the rescue. As the fighter began to fire to save there teammate, Skywalk 3 and 7 lets out a volley of blasts, destroying the fighters. In the confusion, Skywalk 4 nailed the main target's left wing, sending it spinning off into the void...
"Nice formation team! And nice shot 4!"
"Thanks Lled!"
"Alright, cut the chatter! More Bow-TIEs coming in!"
