Ithildae walked alongside Moa, blue eyes searching out any place where enemy scouts might be hiding. She didn't speak. She was exhausted and knew she'd probably collapse afterwards, but until then she would make herself useful.

Eurogon saw Jake´s knife and gave same sword what he took when he escaped from this town and said: "Take this. I hope you don´t need to use it." and began walk same way where Moa and Ithildae went.

Jake stopped for a bit and let the others go on in front of him. Maybe Moa is right he thought. I'm no warrior Jake held the sword up. How could I even kill someone? Jake thought about going back to Ophillia, but there was nothing for him there. People there knew he had been in league with the Belians, they would never accept him back. This is it. Jake thought. If I die, then so be it Then he ran to catch up with the others.

Ithildae looked around at the rest of her group. She suddenly realized she was the only born and raised Belian in this little group.
Once, that would have frightened her. Now it was different.

Moa took a deep breath and said, "So, where are we going? Where is this battle going to happen?"

Jake caught up with Moa. "I know you said I shouldn't come,and your probably right" Jake said. "but, I think i'm too far in to turn back"

Moa smiled sadly, "Yeah, you probably are. You're probably gonna get caught up in this war one way or another, even if you decide to turn and run away. Maybe it's best you come with us."
Moa noticed Skezmeck looking up at Jake with a happy expresion, like he was smiling. He licked Jake's hand and Moa laughed. "He likes you. It's weird, he'd usually rather bite then lick. You must be special." Moa smiled at him.

Jake smiled. "special? Not that I know of. I can't blast fireballs or turn into animals, but I guess it all depends on what you mean by "special" "

Jake grinned sheepishly and got on Sharina's back to practice his not so good riding skills.

Eurogon was on roof and watching when war would begin ans saw that Oplians started to move to town. Eurogon jumped down from roof and gave this information to nearby soldier so he would spread word and runned to Ithildae and said: "So here it all begin."

Jake saw the Ophillian coming and looked at Ithildae. "So, do we attack now?" He asked.

"No." said Ithildae immediately. "If we attack them, it makes it look like this battle is our idea, and it isn't."
She turned and looked back at them. "By the way, you should be glad that you can't turn into things. Afterwards, it feels like someone's lit everything in your body on fire. It hurts."
Finally, she looked at Jake. "You may not think so, but you are special. And so are you, Moa." she added, looking to the other girl. "It takes someone special to stand up for what they believe when the people they know and love won't stand with them."

Moa suddenly felt guilty. After all this really hadn't been what she wanted to do, joining the Belians and all, she had just come to get away from her brother. But now...now it was different. She did believe this was the right thing to do now. She shook away her guilt and smiled at Ithildae. "Thank you," she said softly. She breathed deeply and turned back to the rest of them, saying, "Maybe we shouldn't attack right away, but we can't let them get right on top of us before we make our move. You should start getting ready - and brace yourselves."

"Thanks" Jake said to Ithilldae with a smile. Then he waited as the Ophillians came charging towards them.
