 The grunt returned his Beautifly to it's Pokeball with a low growl in his throat. "Useless!" he grutned as he replaced the Pokeball and grabbed his other one. "Let's go, Zubat! Bite it, hard!" he ordered as the Pokemon materialized.

The Grunt laughed evilly at the sight of Ceres. "A Crybaby Pokemon like that'll never beat my Zubat." he cackled as he watched his Pokemon. "Go Zubat, use your Confuse Ray!" he ordered. Zubat nodded and spread it's wings wide, sending a swirling, malevolent energy at Ceres to confuse her.

"Alright Zubat, try your Bite!" The grunt ordered his Pokemon. Zubat remembered the way Ceres had been crying moments before but followed orders anyway, though it was unwillingly. It flew forward and sank it's fangs into Ceres' soft body, biting hard.

The grunt quickly returned his Zubat to it's ball, then turned and ran back to Eterna. "You can't catch me, chick!" he shouted back as he disappeared. He was a lot faster than he looked. (Sasha has earned +24 Exp split between battlers)
