"Sure thing Sparky," Sten said, saluting.

"Thank you, Earthworm." Vincent murmured wearily, sighing and running a hand through his hair before waving. "I'd best get back to my Uka. She'll be all worried."

"Okay," Sten said, waving back. "Say hello to Kittycat for me." With that he sunk into the ground a good ways from the surface.

Vincent smiled and gave a soft chuckle, then headed back to the Muffin, still disturbed by the feelings that came from that cave.

*Standing at the edge of the lake, Torret gazed upon the glowing water and the release of energy coming from the cave with a building anger inside. He no longer knew why it angered him so much to see that energy, and as he gazed upon it his energy and aura empowered into white hot flames around him, scorching the ground and boiling away the water nearest him.*

*As Torret's rage built, he felt a new energy off in the distance. It took his attention away from the energy glowing through the water, calling to him. It was an energy that felt...familiar to him in so many ways. The darkness that he once was, now resided elsewhere. Perhaps he could reclaim it? With that though in mind he pushed off and flew, just above the treetops in the direction of the dark energy, occationally lighting parts of those trees ablaze as he passed.*

Gadiel was standing, almost knelt completely to a tree as if waiting for a get to open. He wanted to rest, but there was nowhere safe anymore. He kept looking at space as if with his eyes he could open the gates to the Light Realm. He rubbed his arms, trying to feel warmth but only felt a cold air that left his throat dry. This was a situation of emergency and he knew perfectly the gate was closed until the crisis was over, but he stayed there, waiting, maybe someone would feel pity for those left behind and will stretch a hand to them.

Lily was quiet all the way to the clearing, but once they got there she stirred again. "Why are we here, Guan?" she asked him tiredly, ears limp; she just wanted to go back to bed.

Guan set Lily down in the center of the clearing. "Take a look around," he said sternly. It had been a while since he had last come with Arlen to train here, but there were still some signs of their training, mostly on the trees lining clearing where there were obvious signs of forceful collisions.

Lily meekly did as she was told, sitting on the ground, legs splayed behind her. As she did, her ears fell further and further; this place reminded her so much of Arlen... she sniffled and hung her head, trembling, waiting for him to speak further.

"Arlen didn't want to scare you," Guan said, watching Lily carefully. "But the training he underwent here had the potential of killing him."

"Wh-what?" Lily asked, eyes widening as she snapped her head up, gaze locking with his. "Why... why didn't he tell me?" she asked in a whisper, sniffling again. "I mean, I would have worried, b-but... I know that he has to train..."

"He did it to protect you," Guan said, returning her gaze. "The only reason he chose that training method wa sos that he could protect you."

Feeling ashamed of herself, Lily flushed deeply, and had to look away again. "I'm not... strong." she whispered suddenly, picking at the grass. "And I'm not very smart... I need Cerri and Arlen to do anything. He'd... he'd be better off without me."

"That's not what he believes," Guan said sternly. "That you're not at least willing to try and help him when he needs you is pathetic."
