"Ms. Carol Nawali?" Momo repeated, scrutinizing the older woman carefully. "Are you the seamstress who just arrived in the village?"
Momo's hand rested on the satchel, waiting for Carol's reply. If this was the woman she had been sent to find, then her task would be completed sooner than she had anticipated.

Carol nodded. "Thats me! Just came to the village yesterday!" Carol giggled slightly. "A seamstress, by the name of Carol; fits me just fine!" She looked the girl over. "Why?" she asked friendly "Do you want an outfit?" She asked the young girl. Why else would she be seeking out a seamstress?

Momo wings fluttered in delight as she bowed at the waist, her fingers lifting the corners of her dress. "Ms. Carol Nawali, the governess Lady Chiaku would like to formally welcome you to the village of Astora!"
As she stood, she continued the short speech she had recited in her mind while she had raced to the inn: "My name is Momo, the adopted daughter of Lady Chiaku. I am one of the fae of Falsin Forest. The governess has been seeking people to care for the abandoned fae children we find in the woods."
Momo reached into the satchel, revealing a seedling the shape of a pine cone, its emerald-colored crystal glowing softly. "This is one seedling we've found recently. Lady Chiaku believes you will be suited to raise the child that will be born from it; a former comrade of yours has written to the governess already in your support. This is what has been decided."
Finishing the explanation, the child reached her hands forward, offering the young seedling.

"A...seedling?" She spoke as she took the pine cone. "Comrade?" Wow...was this for real? How did that girl memorize all of that? "so this is going to be a fae...child?" She asked looking down at the seed carefully. "A kid..." she spoke her thoughts aloud. "You mean like....the ones here in the inn?" she asked looking back at the girl "Those kind of children?!"

Momo nodded her head eagerly in reply. "Yes, ma'am! We all came from seedlings just like that one. You'll see." She paused, suddenly concerned. "Are you...saying you don't want the kid?"

Carol looked the seedling over. "Hmm" she thought to herself as she pondered teh possiblities. " A child of my own...just like one of you.." she grinned. "I think it would be great fun to raise a child like you!" Her eyes got wide as she thought of having a child that she could raise. "Oh! It will be great fun!" She laughed and hugged the seedling tight. "Oh, yes Ide love to raise It little momo!" she cheered

Something told Cirisse to wake up. Something also told her to go see Carol.
Getting out of her bed, and got dressed and lazily walked out of her room (Grabbing her guitar first, of course), locking it behind her and shoving the key in her pocket. She went out to the lobby to see Carol there with another ... wow, an older fae. She must be Momo, Lady Chi's daughter.
Deciding not to bother her, she went and sat on a couch nearby. She was feeling a little better ... which was good.

Halfway through her cleaning, Seriva head snapped up, her eyes deadlocked on the window to her mothers room. "She's awake" she whispered quietly, then started a headlong dash up the stiars. "Ma'am! Are you well, are you awake, does it hurt, are you hungry, do you need anything? What happened!?" the golden fae asked in a flurry of uncharacteristic questions.
Zeejay was laying in her bed, her eyes less dim and her mind conscious. "No.." she murmured, voice mildly strained. "I'm fine." She then set into a fit of coughing, but seemed a tad better afterward. "Just.. My chest.. pains me, the lung.. punctured I'm sure." she said slowly, her brow furrowed.
Seriva dropped to her mothers bedside, almost sobbing with releif. "Are you hungry Ma'am?" she asked softly.
"Slightly yes..." Zeejay murmured, fondly running her fingers through riva's hair. "You.. helpe dme up here Riva?" she asked quietly.
Seriva nodded, "with the help of Miss Sai, Lady chii, and Miss Lienna the doctor.. Sai is outside.. With her help we can bring you too the Inn.. Cordain shall have some food. We have none left." she said quickly. Helping her mother into new cloths and making sure she was careful.

Carol allowed her gaze to go from momo to the seed, then to Cirisse who had just come down. A proud smile formed over her lips. "Cirisse!" She called out to the girl whom she had met yesterday. "Look! Look! Its a seed!" She laughed. "It will turn into a kid!!" She held it close to her, the mere thought of a seed turning into a child would usually have scared poor carol, but now, after everything....it didnt seem so weird.

Cirisse smiled a toothy smile, 'Wow, congratulations! I guessed they saw what a great caretaker you'd be. What are you going to name it?' She cocked her head, still smiling.
Then, that stabbing pain of being alone and wanting a fae child of her own returned ... but she ignored it. She was too happy for Carol.
That seedling was going to turn into a beautiful child. It was a pinecone-like emerald seedling ... so Cirisse figured it would turn into a beautiful child one day.

Faevan Faevan nodded at Cordain, choosing to keep her silence. Nekura, however, caused her to narrow her eyes, and she was glad the child opted to stay away form Shin and Sylvia. But what was this mention of school. "School? Since when does Astora have a school?" Faevan looked at Cordain, curious as to this new development. "What's school?" Shin asked, looking up at his Aunt.Cordain motioned towards the note from Chiaku that he had pinned to the back of the door to the inn, "It's all there, I'm sending Nekura in the hopes he'll temper out a little better with schooling and by being around the other fae. He just doesn't trust humans much after Crimson left." He gave a quiet sigh, "He seems to be calming down and becoming less troublesome after I wore him out with training...He even left with little arguement to go let you and Dio know the stew was almost ready." he gave a weak chuckle and yawned, "Well anyways...How was the stew Faevan?"

Carol looked down at the pine cone thoughtfully. It would be hard to think of a name if she didnt know what gender it was! She smiled though and cradled the pine cone like a mother would with a new born child. "Hmm..." she mumbled before looking back at cirisse "I dunno..." She looked back down at the seedling. "Maybe...Kapono if its a boy...Sasha if it a girl" She grinned happily She had a name for both genders now, but she prayed it would be a male none the less. "You like those names?" she cooed to the pione cone suddenly feeling her face become hot. How odd it must have been to see a full grown woman talking to a pine cone...

"It's good." Faevan said to Cordain, a bit distracted ad she got up and walked over to the note, snatching it off the door with the hand that wasn't supporting Sylvia. She looked at the parchment, scowling before crumpling it up and throwing it in the gorner with a disgusted grunt. In her arms, Sylvia wriggled, giving a small sound of discomfort at Faevan's mood.
"I can't believe this. Who is this woman to dictate how our lives should be led?" She said, exasperated. "No, this will not do. Anything my son needs to know, he can learn from his family."
Shin watched his Aunt storm across the room, patiently waiting for her to take out her anger. He was learning her ways from the time spent with her, and he knew she would be displeased. But this school...it sounded like there were other Fae children there. But it was the words "my son" that finally sparked his defiance.
"No!" Shin stood up, pushing his bowl away. "Aunt Faevan, I want to go to school too!" He stared her down, green eyes serious, and a bit defiant."
"Shin!" Faevan gasped. " But I..."
"No, I don't want to hide anymore!"

Zeejay was soon standing feebly on Seriva's shoulder, breathing deeply and carefully. A soft song whispered along the wind and her head snapped up, eyes cautious, "Do you here that?" she whispered.
Seriva frowned, noting the sounds came form the forest.. this she didn't like. Her mother didn't hold kindly to it either, between the two of them.. Only bad memories came from that damned forest..
Zee eyed the stairs with disdain while listening, "Shall we make the trek, Riva?" she whispered gently, edging torwards the stiars. "I.. I think I need something to lean on, sweet.." she murmured, eyes flickering in small shame at being so weak.
Seriva nodded and searched for something to stable her mother as she walked.
