Mathias lauged quietly behind his helmet and visor as the Corporal had ran towards him and tripped herself up. When she gave her reporting statement though, he straigtened himself out. The information that the Captain got from the pilot was she had seen the alien grab Sergeant Hammer amidst the storm and also the direction they had gone in.

Captain Twombley looked towards the area which Corporal Harragin was directing.
"Hmm, thank you Corporal." Mathias replied to the pilot sincerely, turning his attention back to her.
"Ok, Corporal. I want you to get your bird cleaned up and back in operation. Your dismissed."
He didn't wait for her salute but quickly turned away, a plan already forming in his head. They had a man missing and it was time they go and find him.
Captain Twombley opened his radio link to every single person in the UNSC encampment;

'All UNSC personnel assemble on me. Repeat, everyone get yours asses over here!'

He set an objective marker on his position so he wasn't hard to find, besides he was now standing in open area of the camp about 25ft.X 25ft.
It wasn't long before Marines began to gather on him as his plan still was falling together in his head.

Once just about everyone had gathered up on him in a semi circle Kristi sitting close to him, he looked down at her as he pulled his helmet off and held it at his side.
"Just listen, and you'll see." He replied to Kristi.

The Captain's eyes looked over all of the Marines and ODSTs whom were giving Mathias their complete attention.
He then said loudly, "Alright, as I'm sure you all know, Sergeant Hammer went missing during the fury of the storm, and...It seems that there was an alien involved in this kidnapping as well. Now, this is going to be a recon and if possible, a rescue mission. I'm am personally going to be leading this mission."
Once Mathias said he was leading the mission, it automatically meant that rest of Alpha Squad would be going along as well.
"..Now I don't want a large force out searching because we need personnel to remain here at the structure for security purposes. Alpha Squad and several other volunteers is all that is needed." Mathias paused for a moment then said, "So, any volunteers?"

Shifty said nothing, but walked over to where the Captain was, finishing off the smoke and standing in place.

One light. Another light. Then a third and so on. Michael opened his eyes ever so slightly trying to grab onto conciousness. He could hear the faint rumble of machinery and the slight whoosh of the wind. We're moving and we're moving fast toward the ring. His mind clearly worked but he couldn't move his body. A small prickle was tingling at his neck and arms but nevertheless, he tried to get up. He was able to lift his neck up a couple inches from the sled (is that what I'm on?) and gazed at the back of his alien captor. The golden markings caught his eye but his mind saw through them. What his mind saw was a being not wanting to harm him, or it would have already. An idea came to him. 'Captain, it's Hammer. I'm on a sled underground heading towards the ring. Captain, do you copy? Captain, I repeat, do you copy?' He spoke with the voice of a man on the edge of panic, but his instinct had kept him calm.

Mendez looked where he was standing and laughed aloud. "It's not what you missed, it's what I missed." Furon was standing inbetween the large tire tracks the 'hog had left on the ground around him.

The Captain was pleased with his volunteers. Once his new task force of five volunteers and Alpha Squad, minus Sergeant Hammer of course, were all assembled, he spoke to the rest of the soldiers, "Okay, everyone else, you will remain here. SPARTAN One-Oh-Eight is your sole commanding officer now. Get started on cleaning up this place too, starting with the Pelicans. Alright, unless anyone else has a question, get to it!"
Mathias clapped his gloved hands together with his final words. The other soldiers began to disperse, higher ranking soldiers beginning to give orders to their own units to get things cleaned up.

The Captain turned back to his newly enlargened squad and then said, "Okay listen up. Everyone gather up weapons and..." Without warning, Mathias began to get a message from Sergeant Hammer hearing it in his helmet as he held it at his side. It was somewhat scattered because the Sergeant was underground. He replied back over the radio, 'Sergeant Hammer, your message is scattered, repeat, what is your location, over'

Michael spoke into the mike again, still not being noticed by the alien, "I'm heading towards the ring, I repeat heading towards the ring."

"The ring structure that I wanted to check out before, I'm heading there. Towards the mountain" he said once more and then looked up. The lights above his head were beginning to slow down, which ment they were close to the destination.
