Taro Rae  Grave felt Aysel's lips on his own, surprisingly warmer than he'd expected them to be and he softened his mouth to her touch, a true kiss, not a peck. He let the fruit pass into her hands and sat there a moment longer, smiling softly. There was no triumph, no superiority in his smile, just relief and kindness. He made a focused attempt to catch her eye, to make sure that the honesty of his poem was understood. "Aysel..." Grave spoke quietly, just loud enough to be heard over the din. "All that...All of that ugliness can fall behind us now, can't it. I would like your friendship. Perhaps, in the new year, you'll study with Ubel and I?" Grave held a hand out to touch her sleeve, a soft touch, nearly tender.

 Antigone smiled when Ubel approached her, and let go of Aysel's hand after a reassuring squeeze, smirking a little as Grave and her lover pulled apart. "It's nice, isn't it, to see them like that?" she asked softly, her golden eyes turning back to Ubel, soft and golden. "I hated that they hated each other so, when they could really be good friends to one another." She reached over to flick at one of the Melancholy's bead strands playfully. "And are you enjoying yourself?" she asked, thinking that she'd like more cocoa soon, as her current mug was almost drained.

Ubel laughed softly as one of his bead strands were flicked, hearing the beads rattle together quietly, before he nodded and hummed softly. "I really am... I didn't think I would, quite honestly, because I never thought a party like this would be my sort of thing... but it's turned out to be rather enjoyable."

 Aysel was surprised to find herself enjoying the kiss, and abruptly pulled back, flushing a bit. She was still tensed in anticipation of scorn, but surprisingly enough...she found none. She looked to Ubel and Antigone- her best friend and her lover, and the ones whose opinions meant more to her than any others- and saw them happily talking (though she pointedly ignored the way that Anti flicked Ube's beads- she had no right to be jealous, not now). Then, nervously, she turned to Grave, cringing...before she saw his soft expression, and felt his fingertips on her sleeve. He seemed completely different, she thought, her heart buzzing in a way that let her almost understand what the others saw in him- almost, she told herself, letting her eyes drift back to Anti and smiling dreamily as her heart fairly hummed and leaped within her at the very sight of her. She then turned back to Grave, her smile remaining, though she spoke shyly. "I would like your friendship as well, Grave, provided that you do not ask me to kiss you again." She laughed merrily to show him that she was joking, and then continued, "I would...very much like to study with you and Ube, as long as you do not mind Antigone joining us as well. Thank you.."

Nadyrr wandered back to the table slowly a little dazed as he did. The dance had been wonderful and...well most the time he tried to stay away from others but the contact had been nice as well. He pondered the whole idea of contact as he stopped off over at one of the food tables to get a hot drink. Glancing around Nadyrr found a seat and sat listening to his classmates, smiling when he saw the kissing but not lingering over it. After a while he started to relax again. Nadyrr looked over covertly at the cloved oranges considering as he did, looking over the area he tapped his lip thoughtfully. There were a number of other students that he would like to get a kiss or more from, but he wasn't sure if he could bring himself to present one with the fruit. Plus after hearing the poem that Grave came up with he didn't know if he would be very good at it. As he watched the fruit Nadyrr wondered if the pretty lavender haired boy would be making an appearance.

Kallisto's smile turned to a frown as she saw Ubel and Nadyrr go out to dance. Despite being happy that Nadyrr was making friends, she hoped he wasn't going to become yet anouther groupie. Bowing to those around her as well, she sat down and watched the fruit be passed around.
It all looked like great fun but she didn't have the courage to ask anyone. The whole idea made little sense, was a kiss really all that great? Leaning against the wall, she sat back and enjoyed the spectacle.

Thobius slipped into the party rather late, and he cursed himself for being late for another event. He always seemed to take to long getting ready for things, and he missed most of the fun. He slunk along the wall glancing over the faces to see how many people he knew and who he would be comfortable approaching.
He was dressed nicely, in the blues and purples he normally wore, however the outfit was nicer and a little bit more revealing. It had holes where peekaboo patches of skin was visable at his sides and across his chest. The pants were open from hip to calf and were laced together with a piece of lavender leather. His hair was obviously styled up into something rather ornate, but it resembled a french twist and left tendrils free to fall about his face.
The boy wasn't entirely sure who he would engage in coversation, for now he decided to just wait and watch what was going on before he threw himself into the swing of things.

Nadyrr caught glimpse of Kallisto as he looked around the room enjoying his tea. Waving a little to Ubel and the rest he got up quietly and started making his way over to her, it didn't seem right that she was standing all alone. Kallisto had been very nice to him and well he rather liked her, snagging a cup from the refreshment table he carried a fresh cup of hot chocolate with him. Smiling a little shyly to her he held it out as if offering her the drink, "Hello Kallisto..." For several moments Nadyrr paused as if attempting to figure out what he should say next, "so uhm, I didn't think you should be standing alone. And I thought you might like a drink." Nadyrr stood awkwardly a moment the drink held out.
While he waited for her to reply he caught slight of Thobias' lavender colored hair out of the corner of his eye. Careful not to turn away from Kallisto he moved a little so he could get a better look at Thobias while also keeping Kallisto included. His eyes widened as he looked Thobias over, he looked absolutely lovely. Nadyrr didn't so much change expression as just grow very still, coughing slightly he blinked and got his wits back about himself. Looking over to Kallisto he blushed slightly and attempted to look as non-chalante as possible.

Ubel smiled at Nadyrr as he got up and left, nodding once in understanding; he didn't expect the other to stay by him all night, after all. Then his attention was caught by Thobius, red eyes widening in surprise over just how lovely the other looked. "My, my," he breathed, chuckling a big and picking up his hot chocolate - not so hot now - to sip at it, humming softly as he took a moment to marvel, fascinated at the chance to see his classmates outside of... well, class.

Thobius leaned his slender body back against the wall and let out a small sigh. It seemed he hadn't missed the entire party after all, which was a huge relief to him. He allowed his eyes to trail over the group slowly, taking in the faces of those he recognized. Nadyrr caught his attention, and he couldn't help a small smile as he remembered the boy that had gone out of his way to help him when he had *again* been late.
He lifted up his right leg and rested the sole of his boot against the wall, bending it at the knee. Thobius reached a hand up and patted the overly ornate hairdo to be sure it was still keeping it's form. After all, it wouldn't do to be so late and not look absolutely exquisite.

Nadyrr looked over to at Thobias leaning against the wall, biting his lip slightly he set the mug for Kallisto on a nearby table so she could easily reach it if she wanted to. Leaning a little closer to Kallisto Nadyrr speaks quietly, "I'll be back, I should see if he would like to come over. I don't think he knows many people yet." Nadyrr didn't add that he really wanted the attractive lavender haired boy around more. Moving over slowly Nadyrr gulped down a lump of insecurity that was rising up in his throat. Once he had moved over completely toward Thobias he cleared his throat to get the other boy's attention.
"Uhm...I - I... well we didn't get to talk during class. And like I told Kallisto," Nadyrr gestures over to his friend, he realized he was very very glad to have someone he could trust close by, someone he was familiar with, "I don't think anyone should have to stand alone during the party. You should come join us...Kallisto is real nice." Nadyrr smiled shyly and realized he had almost been staring at Thobias during his halting speech, flushing slightly he adverts his eyes. As he stood feeling very much out of place Nadyrr realized that he had never told the other boy his name, "I - I'm Nadyrr..." Nadyrr blinks rapidly and goes back to fidgeting slightly adverting his eyes with a slight blush on his cheeks.

Looking around the room, Grave picked himself up off the floor and brushed off his pants. He straightened the black velvet of his jacket and smoothed back his hair. Time to mingle.
Grave had an urge to dance, to talk to a stranger, to have another goblet of that fine spiced apple cider. He felt himself smiling and began to drift around the room.
