I am not too good with introductions as well, I shall try.
My nickname's Relax, but I shall not tell you my real name ^^ Well, I like reading. Reading - If I have the time, that is. I spend nearly 12 hours in school, and the remaining time is used for homework and what not.. I really enjoy the Artemis fowl series ( Eoin Colfer), the Harry Potter series ( Who doesn't know the author?), the Twilight series ( Stephenie Meyer). I like many other books, but it would be too much to list. Wish me luck on finding time to read, wouldn't you.
A weird habit of mine would be reading labels on cans. Anyone does the same?

Hi, my name is Liete_of_Alent, I'm 25 and I'm a part timer at Borders, in addition to my day job. I don't have much free time, but the ability to use an entire book store as your personal library and a work day talking to people about books in WELL worth the sacrifice of time that could be spent sleeping. I wanted to get a degree in library science at the university I attended, but the program was cut while I was a freshman and undecided in my major, so I took up writing instead.

My favorite genres of literature are manga and fantasy/sci-fi, although since I started working at Borders I've learned that there are some really good young adult authors emerging recently! My all time favorite author is Terry Pratchett, author of the Discworld series. His satirical writing style is nothing short of brilliant. His books are a joy to read, my favorite (it's hard to choose) being Jingo. I also really loved Twilight by Stephanie Meyer, although her sequels just can't seem to live up to the original.

Thanks for admitting me, it's nice to meet you all! biggrin

hello! today's my first day as a guild member. i read all kinds of things... yesterday i finished a corny harlequin romance. i don't normally read that kind of thing, but i got it for christmas... it left me feeling sort of dirty, so right away i started something that will hopefully be more worthwhile - the end of the dream by philip wylie. i liked the disappearance by him, so i'm thinking i'll like it. also this week i read cat's cradle by kurt vonnegut, which was a strange book... i hadn't read anything in a couple of months until the holiday season got here, so i'm on a prolific streak...

Hello my name is Anna, My favorite book is Stolen Innocents (can't recall the auther right now though). My favroite authors are Anne Rice, Hideyuki Kikuchi, and Stephenie Meyer. I'm witty and sarcastic so if I'm not particularly friendly to you at first site is because I'm anti-social. I like being anti-social so you have to prove you have a Brain and are intrseting. The fact that your an abode reader is a start....but you'll need more then that. If you want to know more about me, consolt my profile.

My name is Caramel.
I have many favorite interests, reading is among them, of course.
I don't really have a favorite book.
When I was younger I read a lot of fantasy, Redwall and such.
I am not a fan of Harry Potter.
Now-a-days I read more eh... 'slice of life' type fiction.
It is what I crave, and probably stems from my immense love of shojo manga.
I suppose that's all for now.
I shall be around.

I love books in general, but my favorite, favorite series of all time is the Idlewild Trilogy by Nick Sagan.
