She jumped to her right, away from him, more startled then anything. She slid to a stop and turned, looking strait at him. Then to Aethi. Mouthing the words "What next?"

*Aethi simply stared at the man before them. She noticed out of the corner of her eyes as Ari mouthed words at her. She shook her head, because now she wasnt sure. She decided, however, that she was willing to gamble it all and make a move. For the first time since coming to the BC she removed all her carefully made shields and barriers that hid her full aura and power. The sudden surge of power within her would be like a sharp blow to the head for anyone not careful enough with how openly they were searching for energy. She was very strong for a teenager and could have easily rivaled Truinthil were he still 'alive'.

She kept low to the ground and from the arms of her armor, produced two black rods that extended into batons as she flicked her wrists. These she had had custom made by her father so that they would withstand anything short of falling into a sun.

As she moved towards Draeken at a speed even faster than before, she spun to her left, arcing the baton in her right hand towards the man's knee.*

Draeken stopped as the girls stopped and remained hovering in the air. He still didnt look at either of them. He seemed to be waiting.

As Aethi attack, however, he was suddenly not there, but was instead standing on the ground now, just behind Aria. His head tilted back then came rushing down towards Ari's own. It was an attempt to headbutt the girl directly from above, which if successful, would likely shatter some of her vertabre.

Aria was a bit dizzy by feeling Aethi's ungaurded Aura all at once. How ever she quickly recovered and looked around, the man was gone. The thing about Ari people underestimated was her quick senses, within half a second she new he was right behind her. Rather then move she stayed where she was. Being significantly shorter then the man gave her about a 2 second time frame to think of something. She threw up her hands and pushed the attack away,

*Aethi blinked as Draeken disappeared, but quickly relocated him, jumping into the air towards him, both arms behind her in preparation to attack again. There was no way she would let the man hurt Aria. She planned to catch both sides of the mans head with her batons.*

The force with which Draeken's forhead would hit Ari's palms would likely be enough to make her strain to stop the attack. He wouldnt relent, though, and instead kept pushing down with enough force to make the earth beneath Ari sink. He also knew full well that Aethi was coming near once more and with a very small thread of power, created a whip of air that would strike at the young woman, intending to send her flying in a different direction. Preferably with a few broken ribs.

She was bending back under the strain, Her back was starting to hurt, the earth beneath her was crumbling. Eventually Ari's knees gave out and she dropped from under him, rolling to the side quickly.

*Aethi only had half a seconds notice before the attack hit her hard in the side. She let out a gasp as air left her lungs and suddenly had the sensation of sailing in a different direction, rolling through the air almost. She would land roughly and about thirty feet away. After skidding to a stop, she looked up just in time to see Ari give way to the man. She tried to yell, but it came out a hoarse croak.*

Ari!

*She then began to get back up and run at Draeken again. Her side hurt, but nothing was broken.*

The whip he had used to bat Aethi away was gone in an instant and replaced by an invisible but quite solid wall of air moving downwards towards Ari from above her. She would have to be quick on her feet to dodge it.

At the same instant he also sent several balls of 'solid' air towards Aethi to slow her down if not actually harm her.

Aria had barely enough time to move, she scrambled to the side and got to her feet, her sword appeared and she took a fast swing at D's side.

*Aethi was barely able to dodge the attacks sent at her because she couldnt truly sense them, but could feel the displacement they made in the air. They had slowed her down, but not enough to keep her from getting to him at about the same time that Ari's attack would. She would feign a jump then move in low and fast, both batons aiming for Draeken's knee cap.*

There was a slight laughing sound from Draeken, though it sounded more like a rasping cough. Both attacks would seem to hit him, but in fact were stopped perhaps a few centimeters from his body. He kept his closed eyes 'looking' straight ahead and cracked a grin. There would then be the sound of thunder originating from where he stood, right after, that is, the lightening shot through both the weapons and towards their holders.

Aria screamed as she was tossed back by the force of the lightning, she sat up slowly, jolts of it still hopping around on her body, her hair was frizzled and sticking out at odd angels. It Took her a mineut before she got up again, she'd have to be more careful next time. She looked around for Aethi to see if she were ok or not, then charged forewardx out of anger.

*Aethi sensed the lightening and only just put up a makeshift barrier as she was hit. She only staggered back holding a hand to her head, her eyes squeezed shut.*

b*****d!

*Opening one eye she once more moved towards Draeken, twitching her batons a bit which caused them to shift into doubled edged swords. She then stabbed with the right one while making a slight arc for Draeken's shoulder with the one in her left hand.*

Draeken's head rolled on his shoulders and came to stare directly at Aethi when it stopped. His eyes then opened, the very fabric of reality around his body shimmering for a breif moment. Fear would seem to pour out from his eyes as if it were a physical thing. It would be forced into the mind of whomever he made eye contact with. Those with weak minds would be overwhelmed by the fear and likely would fall to the ground screaming. Those with stronger minds would feel the fear but would have a chance to get over it and not let it hinder them entirely. No matter how strong a persons will, however, Draeken's gaze was fear itself.

For Ari, though, the air around her erupted in fire. This fire would follow her so long as she moved towards him.
