lymelady ryokomayuka I found this quote in a book: Quote: The woman who has undergone an abortion is not althoughter safe from harm....Frequent abortions tend to cause barrenness and serious, painful pelvic ailment. These and other condictions arising from opertions are very likely to ruin a women's general health. The quote was from Maragret Sanger the founder of Planned Parenthood in 1920. Times have changed. O.o Sanger said that? Well accorning(sp) to this book I have she did.

I see it.
" If death does not result, the woman who has undergone an abortion is not altogether safe from harm. The womb may not return to its natural size, but remain large and heavy, tending to fall away from its natural position. Abortion often leaves the uterus in a condition to conceive easily again and unless prevention is strictly followed another pregnancy will surely occur. Frequent abortions tend to cause barrenness and serious, painful pelvic ailments. These and other conditions arising from such operations are very likely to ruin a woman’s general health."
The thing is, that was back then. The medical care wasn't as good, so I don't know if it applies today.

What I hate: The slogan, "Pro-life doesn't end at birth."
No, REALLY? Gee, I thought it did! Here I was just going, "ZOMG! Don't abort! Save teh babies!" And then they're born and I'm all, "Oh well, here they are, good luck kid!" [/sarcasm]

heart
I say we shank that slogan, like you said. Just randomly, everyone in the Pro-Life guild has that in their signature, and the Pro-Choicers are all like, "WTF? What is going on? HOW DID I GET TO BIZARRO WORLD????"

Beware the Jabberwock Just make a banner that says;
Pro-life DOESN'T end at birth. (morons) Still laughing. Lyme show them your spoon image. I feel like just handing that one out to everyone. When I first came to Gaia that's what I was told, I've come to realize it never became untrue... 3nodding

 I suck at banners. If anyone else can make a better one, please do. You were told that kids are spoonfeeding you?

Beware the Jabberwock Just make a banner that says;
Pro-life DOESN'T end at birth. (morons) I'm thinking something like "pro-choice shouldn't end at pregnancy." Or maybe "'Your choice' ends at your body?" confused I'll think of something. I'm determined to use my BA in Communications somehow...

Or maybe, "Pro-Choice shouldn't start at birth?" Like, the fetus' choices should be respected as well?
I dunno, it sounded good in my head. xd
