Rivera tried to sit up, quite annoyed at the fact that she still has almost no control over her body. Her muscles shook with the effort of even raising her head off the bed three inches or so. Usagi pranced around, babbling with relief. Rivera didn't register a word she said, intent on sitting up somehow. There was work to be done and such. And the mystery of who kidnapped her to be solved. Her vision blurred for a few seconds, then sparked off, it seemed. For a few moments, she felt like she was looking into the end of a tunnel. Usagi had connected a wire to her arm, directly into one of the main nerves she used to selfprogram computer systems. "Sorry... Kira's right. You're going to have to take a little nap." An imitation signal was sent to her brain, knocking her out.
"Good night..."

Kira awoke after a few hours of sleeping soundly. He yawned and stretched as quietly as he could to avoid waking Rivera up if she were still sleeping, odds were that she was, considering she had used most of her power and suffered an injury then was captured. He stealthilly crept into the kitchen looking around for anything he could use to whip up something to eat. He could only really find the waffles, so he went about preparing them then poured syrup all over them, making a second tray for Rivera for when she awoke. He had his plain and simple while her's was smothered in chocolate mousse, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup. He casually sat down and started eating quietly, waiting for her to awaken.

Rivera mumbled in her sleep, turning over slightly. A sharp pain jabbed into her unhealed wound, causing her to draw the knife at her hip and slash out as she rolled out of bed. It took her several seconds to realize that she wasn't being attacked. Standing up straight, she sheathed her knife, holding her wound with her other hand. It had mostly closed and was healing quickly. A scar was already forming, she could tell by the way it felt. Looking towards the side, she noticed that Kira was eating. The plate of chocolate-loaded waffles was undoubtedly for her. She yawned as she sat down next to him. Despite the fact she slept for a very long time, she still looked like someone dragged her out of a grave. Part of the reason was probably because she always looked a little like a corpse. The other part was because of the sword sitting right next to her.
"Koishi. You're going to have to learn to use raw energy. It's healthier for you than my processed energy..." She took a bite of her waffle and sighed, "and it's better for me too. Please... don't steal energy from mummy again." The sword seemed to vibrate a little, maybe it was just a hum or a trick of the eye? Probably not. Rivera stroked the sword's hilt as she looked up at Kira. "Sorry to make you worry about me again... It must be a pain to carry me around all the time." She mumbled apologetically.

"Don't you know that sometimes... A guy enjoys having the woman he loves in his arms?" Kira said simply with a good natured smirk. He took a bite from his waffles quietly, trying to keep his left arm hidden from Rivera, hoping she wouldn't notice it was paralyzed at the time. He didn't know if he had just pulled it from the socket from all the ramming, or shattered the bones, but he was supposed to be worrying about Rivera right now, not the other way around. "Rivera... How exactly are we going to keep Koishi from draining your energy anyway?" He asked curiously.

"Easy..." Rivera smiled and cut off half her plate of waffles, incinerating it instantly in a circle of lightning. Within moments, the ashes and flames vanished. "We teach it to absorb entrophic energy by making a strong imitation of it. I think that's Koishi's breakfast... no eating off my plate without asking, please." She reminded the sword, who hummed a little in return, satiated with the energy from fire and a burnt waffle.
"Okay, next phase of business." Rivera's eyebrow twitched and she reached down, lifting up Kira's left hand. "You're being dumb now. You really think I didn't notice you using a shadow replicate of your arm when you were carrying me back? You underestimate me... Viera Dominus." The total healing spell again... If anything was damaged, it would easily fix it... but it was a disease or some sort of sickness, the spell was useless.

In the moment of silence the window shattered with a light of blue brilliance. Rivera rose to her feet, not quite so shocked as one might think her to be… Her eyes were lit with a white light as she rose to walk towards it. Kira rose as well, to stop her, only to find that he was frozen to the spot. The room was bathed in a blue so bright it was almost white… yet it was deep and clear, obscuring the vicinity with its magnificence.
Rivera touched her hand to the light source… it was cool and comforting. The images of her past suddenly hit her with a devastating force. She could remember every detail of her life in Atlantis. Rivera tried to step back, but found that she could not draw away. Understanding came into her eyes and she relaxed. The light began to engulf her…
“Kira…” She turned to face him, “My time on Earth is done…”
“Wait, you don’t mean that…” Kira found himself stepping closer towards her. His body moved involuntarily towards her, reaching out. “You can’t mean it… why so sudden? WHY?”
Rivera looked at him sadly. “I’m sorry… Chloe has come for me. I belong with her…”
“If you’re going, I’m coming with you. I don’t fricking give a damn whether your time here is up or not. Your time with me isn’t done yet.” He stretched his arm towards her hand, grasping it firmly. Almost immediately, the same light began to crawl up his wrist.
Rivera jolted. “Wait, no – let got of me, you’ll die if you keep-“
“Do you think that matters?”
When their eyes met in that moment, they stopped their time forever. When the light cleared… there was nothing left.
