Enomu let out a very uncharacteristic squeak at the contact and curled up tighter until he registered the words, which in itself took several moments longer than it should have. He turned his head slowly, puffed up and shaking, to look at who was speaking to him. It was hard to see through the tears in his eyes, but here was someone who decidedly didn't want to eat him at least. They were still safe for now. But it was only a matter of time before the people eaters came for them too.

"B-B-But th-they e-e-e-eat p-p-p-eee-ple!" He stuttered out between his teeth, before he shifted his grip on Kuroi to grab the stranger and cling to them, as if in so doing he could protect himself. He mewled in wordless distress, wishing he could be safe even though he knew, he knew he would deserve it if he got eaten. He was bad, after all.

On the one hand, they had at least gotten a couple hours of rest. Kingston didn't know if his friends had managed to sleep at all, but the grimm had caught some Zs while he could. When the anouncement came, he had shifted awake, but it was Vanna that ultimately woke him up. He packed a very quick bag of things he thought he might need. Brushes or his fur, a blanket, and some extra clothes (and of course snacks) hefted his revenant onto his back. With the small group of friends, he returned to the auditorium.

One of the safe houses? Attacked? His ears flattened against his head and his tail tucked slightly, but otherwise, he did his best not to show his anxiety over the news. Things would... be ok. Things would be ok. Yes. Things would be ok! He was sure they could all band together. He looked at the younger members of his group, Coco and Eilwen, and gave them an encouraging smile. Plopping a hand on each of their heads, he spoke softly. "Try to stay together. You both have my phone number now, right? If something happens, call me. I'll drag Vanna with me and come right away." He promised. Kingston wasn't sure exactly what he could do in... any situation, but he would look out for his friends.

With that, Kingston reluctantly left the younger students to help Vanna and the other seniors secure the windows. Perhaps it was all the time spent on building sets for plays, but before he had realized it, he had sealed and secured a window.

Foras was getting as much work done as he could in the amount of time they had. So long as others were working around him, he'd keep on helping as well. Plus, with Gany working beside him the two of them made a pretty good team! He just kept picking up boards and nailing them into the walls, trying to keep his mind off of what could come busting through one of these windows at any moment. He tried thinking of some happy thoughts as well, like his upcoming years at Grendel. A chance with Ganymede, anything to keep his mood more positive.

"I'll do what I have to do to keep you safe~" Foras nodded along as he moved on to start boarding up another of the windows. He worked carefully, rather than quickly, to insure the would hold as long as they needed to. He hoped nothing would come busting through one of the windows he and Gany had boarded up and enchanted respectively.

He took a moment to think about why the Academy had a bunker in the first place. After the toll of the 50 year war, he supposed that could be the main reason. Who knew that peace would be built between Above and Below? And War doesn't always come from a different place, it can come from home too. There was also a lot to protect at the Academy. They would awaken stones from the cache and raise them here as infants.

"Whatever the reason, let's just be happy they have it. I'm not sure it was the best to keep it from everyone outside of the Academy, but...when push comes to shove. If you can only save so many....it's better than turning people away." He finished up with the window in front of him and waited for Gany mean to enchant it as well.

"Alright, I think we did our part. Time to get to that bunker." He held out his hand for Gany to take. "Last chance to let me carry you like a Princess instead~" Foras gave him his classic wink.

His throat warmed up slightly as he stared at the next room. This… was… ridiculous. What was this now… ten rooms, nothing of use but maybe a small blanket. He could lie and say he was a senior right? It was only a couple years away. He tapped his claws on the doorway of the room. “Life… its already crappy. I do not need my attempts to help be crappy as well.” and now he was talking to himself. Great….

Another room, another failed attempt. Well it was probably a good thing they had pulled out all of the juniors for this. They would all die of exposure and thirst if he was the only one. His tail lashed in irritation. Wait… hadn’t he seen this room before? No he was on a different floor. He was pretty sure.

“I give up you stupid universe. We can all starve” Baum sighed pulling a Kadali, or at least a Kadali in his mind and flopping dramatically on a bench that was in the hallway. Obviously they had enough man power if seriously all the rooms didn’t have any supplies worth getting. Hell his last attempt plan was to just gather up all his familiars and steal his own blankets and supplies, although his roommate or another person had surely already ransacked his room. “Okay gotta take this seriously. Get supplies in the next couple of rooms or die”
