He faulters a bit "But... NO! I know grandma and grandpa were good people but my parents are my parents! They love me and I know they are only treating me the way I'm supposed to be. This way I'll be strong and not embaress the family! I have to learn my lesson!"

Embarassment isnt a big issue in a family that loves eachother. They shouldn't care about that more then your happiness! Your hralth and safty should come first, then your happiness!

You really ARE in trouble! ::staring::happiness...its fun. its doing things you enjoy, just to do them. Its spending time with freinds, doing everything, or absolutly nothing. Its things you enjoy even iof you dont know why. Enjoying a cool drink on a hot day, walking in the grass....

His brow furrows "I think I had that with my grandparents... and with Kin. The closet to that is when I'm cooking or baking I guess... thats fun for me. *sighs* I'm not sure though.. I still don't understand."

Ran Kizama Oh..uh, y-yes sir. *Kouta nodded in confirmation and looked around the room discretely. Even the dining room was enormous. Katty seemed to be right at home, but Kouta couldn't help but feel slightly uncomfortable with his new surroundings*

*Kouta sipped a glass of water and took a breath, letting it out heavily* I'm sure it's wonderful, but after a meal like that, I'm not sure if I have room. *He smiled and took another breath, trying to relax his stomach. He'd never eaten anything like this at home. It was usually filling as his mother loved to cook, but never had it been something this grand. It was nice in a way, but he would have to get used to it. Looking over, it seemed like Katty still had room to spare and guessing on her excited bouncing, he figured that she was anxious to start the next course* You sure can hold your fill can't you? sweatdrop

I-Is that so? sweatdrop *Kouta smiled nervously and looked back down to the table. He remembered that Katty was a little dense, but he apparently had no idea. That was alright though. He knew of her charm and would welcome it any day of the week as long as she kept smiling*

::Chris smiles at Kouta, amused:: it seems you've forgotten of Kitten's... ::he never gets to finish the sentance for just then both his and Charli's eyes shoot to the door where a maid is bringing in three plates with a slice of delish chocolate cake out to them. Charli actually stops bouncing when she sees the cake and both her and her grandfather's eyes go sparkly. the maid serves them first then sets the last plate in front of Kouta::
this is always fun to watch :;she whispers to Kouta, watching the two sugar obsessed realtives. Charli takes a bite of her cake and practically melts, eyes going closed as she gets a serene expression on her face. it would be the very first time that he'll have seen her perfectly still, the cake taking every bit of her attention. Chris is equally absorbed in his cake, though he seems to be more childishly delighted in it, but no less absorbed::
