Mairi shrugged. Mostly ropes snapping on the sailboat, which didn't happen all that often, or sometimes accidents happened. The one on the outside of my left thigh was coral... she said with a soft sigh, unaware that the fact that she didn't quite meet Pyrrha's gaze made it pretty clear that wasn't all the scars, as some had come from a belt... her father's belt.

Mairi dear, here's the first set of clothes that I picked out for you to try on. I brought in 4 sets.

I only saw three, though, Mairi exhaled as she stripped down to her underclothes before trying the first outfit on. The pants felt a bit snug, though she found the 'Converse' sneakers strange as she didn't know how to tie them. The shirt wasn't too bad, though she left the light leather jacket off for the moment. She blinked, confused as Pyhrra slid from the bench near her feet. What are you doing? she said in confusion with a soft sigh.

Hmmm, I'm just getting used to the fact that I have a caring mother now, Mairi said shyly as she sat on the edge of the bench, her fingers brushing over the leather of the light jacket that went with her current outfit. Sometimes I feel so... confused... and out of my element, she said thoughtfully with a soft sigh.

It's a little tight in the pants and shirt, maybe the next size up would be better, Mairi said shyly. It's the first set of actually new clothing I've ever gotten, she said softly, her eyes a bit wet.

Okay, Mairi said shyly. She carefully shed the clothes, her eyes half closed as she shivered slightly in the air conditioning. "Hmmm, interesting," she said softly as she slid the second outfit on, though it was then that she noticed the outfit she hadn't seen before.

It's nice. Not too tight or uncomfortable, Mairi said shyly, thinking about Lucas. "What's the femur? I remember the doctor saying he'd broken that and hurt his hip," she said softly.

Hmmm, so, he wouldn't be able to wear a cast or something? Mairi said shyly, thinking about Lucas as it was more likely he'd have to wear a brace for the injury and rehabilitation, changing as she spoke softly. I don't know much of what goes into broken bones, unfortunately. I do know it's usually bad if fresh cuts get wet, though, she said softly, which was true.

I hope he's not hurting, Mairi said shyly, changing into the third outfit, which seemed more like something someone would wear in school. She hummed thoughtfully, as she rather liked the outfit. It's rather nice... and comfortable, she said softly.
