After assuring the salamander that it would just be for a bit, Elliah managed to get him tucked into the pocket of her jacket and headed towards some of the game booths. There was a dart game that she would like to try, and a bean bag toss that looked fun. After a bit of internal debating, she decided to try the ski ball game first. There was a bit of a line for the dart game; it looked like the people playing didn’t want to stop.
Winning a cute plush and the thing of candyfloss was a pleasant surprise and the bapho positively beamed at the attendant. “Ohmigosh, I can’t believe this~” she squeed. Her excited dance had the salamander in her pocket objecting loudly and she quickly stopped. Pulling off a bit of her candy, she popped some into her mouth to try. Ooohh, the spearmint flavor was really nice. This would go well with something to drink.

"Oh yes, I would love to hang out together." Kanda replied eagerly. "My dad is learning sign too; he's gotten pretty good at it!" She looked with interest at the card Wyrdda had pulled out. What are those?" Ears pricking forward as her tails wagged slowly behind her. They looked like flash cards. Before the older grimm had a chance to reply, Kanda caught scent of hot chocolate from nearby. "Hot chocolate!" That was her only explanation before she turned and ran to go get some.
Returning with a red and green cup, and a brown fox plush tucked tucking into her stocking, she looked content. Hampered by the cup in her hands, she still tried to talk with Wyrdda. "Sorry, there was hot chocolate nearby. And I got a plushie too!" She smiled, showing her the fox that had been put into her stocking.
Lightly flushing with embarrassment as Bibiana giggled at him, Cyril shoved the toy into his stocking. "Yeah. . ." he mumbled. A second familiar joined the one already in her lap and the geist looked bewildered. Didn't they normally try one for a person? Or maybe they just didn't like him. That was probably more likely than anything else. "Is it one of the glowing necklaces?" he peered around to see that it was. Those were pretty cute and he wouldn't mind getting one.
"Yeah, if you want to that is. ." With her assurance that she did, he turned to let the game master know they were ready. Somehow he managed to be on point and actually one the game. It probably helped that she was holding two familiars in her lap though, but he was trying hard not to think that. His prize was a snow globe, one with what looked like a miniature academy inside it. He grinned softly as showed it to Bibiana. "Look, it's the academy," he pointed at it.
Bath's attention returned to Mytrax in time to see someone throw a tinsel boa at her. He rolled his eyes. That sort of behavior did not seem like a very good way for a person to keep all of their limbs. "Maybe you could use it to distract your little hellbeast there?" He shrugged. He had no idea how to distract one of those little...bird...things. He'd never seen them before. What were they? Something really vicious. Something that needed a pen. Something that needed to be taught a lesson.
He wondered if Amygdale could take one on in a fight. Or did these little terrors live in packs...? Flocks? "What should we do now?"
Burvia couldn't help herself. There were so many good books for sale that she just had to pick up a bunch for herself to take home. Hopefully she could find some that were kid friendly that she could take back with her to read to the kids ...
... but then again, that Chimera romance novel looked ... really good.
He hummed in thought, perhaps a pumpka would be ideal, then... But the hollow screaming would not be pleasant. Revenant's were remnants of his people's old culture, perhaps... one of them? He could ask Ustule about the upkeep later. "I see. Thet is nice, though, thet they can be trained." He nodded, then quirked a brow. "Perheps you do not know how to cook, but I do. Et home we were raised to be self-sufficient es early es possible. Perheps sometime I should make you some traditional Borean food." That actually brought a small smile to his face - the thought of sharing it with his friends was a happy one... especially since two of them were part-litch and had never known their true home, and poor Ustule had been removed against her wishes.
"Then, if eet is okey with your mother, we should do thet. It would be nice to spend the holidey with friends since femily is not eveilable." He nodded, and started on into the next house-- but not before he was given yet another plushie and a lightbulb. Goodness. They just had an infinite supply of these, didn't they? This one was pink, but he now had two pink friends.... Ah well, he'd know Parodia longer, so this would be Parodia. If he acquired as second one, it could be Ustule.
Geyser Eelborn
At this point he was content to pointedly ignore Foras and Alioth. They were busy making googly eyes at each other and being overly affectionate anyway. Not like they really needed him - or Chries - to be around any longer. He'd have to tell Foras that the display was nearing revolting later. Ugh.
The question as to his flaring caught him a little off guard... He settled back into place against Chries - still such a weird thing to be doing - and shook his head. "I'm fine." Once again, praise the Nine for his lying skills. He doubted that Chries knew him well enough to tell when he was lying... "The tree.. of course... If he eats too much of that he'll get sick." He frowned a little, but it wasn't like he had anything else to offer up...
He followed Chries' brief glance to Foras and Alioth, mind wandering over the possible meanings behind that statement... Was he hinting that he wanted to leave? Probably - Gany wanted to leave too. Well, he might as well be the only one - as usual - to speak his mind and state so. "Yes, I'd like to go. Away from them." He at least kept that last statement quieter than the others.... "It looks like they have a matching game that seems okay. We could go over there." He nodded, and, well... Since they were planning to ditch Alioth and Foras... He emitted a small sigh before shifting his position to look at them more clearly.
"When we're done we're going to play some games - alone. You seem to want to move faster than we do." There. That wasn't too blunt, was it? He stated what he wanted to- but didn't actually tell them why. That seemed to fit the formula that he was given on how to tell people things that could potentially hurt their feelings. Honestly he was sure Foras would just brush off whatever he had to say even if he hadn't censored himself, but Alioth was not someone he was familiar with and he was trying to maintain a good persona with Anchriesel.
Sometime during the cocoa sipping and minor confrontation, someone stuck a little grey cat plush with a lightbulb necklace in with the pile of other things he'd been toting around.

"I believe he's a little older than you, so it doesn't surprise me that much!" He nodded, then passed Xeno's drink to him. "Oh you're fine, Xeno. I'm only as good at it as I am because of practice! And even then I tend to forget names a lot, ahaha." He pulled a candycane from the bundle, and then passed that over as well once Xeno had his drink secured.
"Oh! You've made a friend. How cute! Kidden are quite useful, you know? Aside from them having inherent value as living beings but! I'm trailing off." He motioned for the little Freshling to follow him to a table, and then sat down. "How did I meet Jurvik.... We happened to be at the park at the same time a while back, actually! Hahah not that long after school started for the year... about a week or so?" He shrugged, sipping his his own drink while he watched the kidden. Did he have any treats on him...? Probably not...
Apparently he did have a plushie with one of those enchanted glowing lights, though, as it nearly beamed him in his head. He picked it up from the table, then cast a rather unamused stare in the direction it came from. He should probably speak to Judas about stopping the cannons.......
"But yes, that's how we met. Did you know him long before?" Before being when he was in the orphanage... Corben was fairly certain he already knew the answer to that question, but it was polite to let Xeno share his side of the story, after all.
Seraph was running around like a crazy person for lack of a better word. There were just so many fun decorations and so many interesting people. He wanted all of the plushies and trinkets, and the fact that you could win them was also really exciting. He had to be careful that no one recognized him here because he did slip away from the people that were watching them. Still he couldn’t wait to show Cy and his parents everything that he got. First victim of the day was a cute silvery boa. Leto was not in a good mood. Tsuki had just decided that she was going to run the hell off to do whatever and send their parents into a panic, so while she got to explore the festival for now. Leto was stuck on a bench until they came back. Ugh what good where little sisters again… okay that was a mean thought but Leto was really looking forward to his first festival. At least he had managed to get some candy before the whole running off fiasco.
Aleis walked around to see what all the fuss was about. They normally didn’t come out for festivals but their roommate kept going on and on about it. Aleis thought it was okay, winter wasn’t their favorite holiday by any means. However they did have to mention that the earrings they had gotten just a little while ago were hella cute. Now all Aleis had to do was find a new face to befriend/annoy or maybe even a familiar one.
Gale had come to the festival with their mom and sibling. Infact, Gale was pretty sure her dad was around somewhere too. But the family had split up and had gone their own separate ways. As united as their family was, they all had varying interests, and Gale was content and happy for the alone time, taking the opportunity to wander around and take in the sights.
A plushie in particular caught her eye, and Galexis couldn't help but to make her way over to the plushie stand and pull out the small amount of change her mother had given her to spend on herself at the festival. "That one, please!" Gale pointed, and the man minding the booth pulled down the Kidden plushie for her ... and even gave her a discount and some candy canes to take with her to much on!
Castus actually made an appearance. Crowds weren't really his thing, and he was a little shocked that he even decided to show up. But he had been curious about the event and the festivities. Even if just a little bit. What could there be that might interest him and justify the journey out ... ?
Hmmn ... not a lot, to be honest. But, hey. The familiars were kinda cute. He had a soft spot for the feathered ones. Maybe he'd stick around to try and see if he could purchase one ...
Hexen was on a bench, nose burrowed deep in a book. It figured that even when she managed to get out of her cramped dorm at the academy that she was still stuck with her head up in the clouds.
She had been happily reading The Halfling when someone who had been sitting beside her got up and left. The demon had barely noticed them leaving, but when the finally lifted their head and saw only their plushie left behind, she realized it had been forgotten, and instantly felt bad for it.
The demon would take it home and give it a fulfilled life! (Though, she wondered how someone could leave behind something so large so readily ... )
Abel couldn't keep herself from bouncing as each new Daydream walked past her. This was all so very exciting! She had never seen a daydream up close and person before, and this was a rather new experience she was enjoying!
A particular Daydream noticed Abel's excitement and couldn't help but laugh, walking up to her and giving her a necklace, putting the glowing light around her neck and patting her shoulders, clearing approving of her, before the daydream walked off without further word, leaving Abel rather baffled, but also quite pleased!
"This hot cocoa is amazing..." the young imp cooed to no-one in particular. It seemed as though her baphomet companion had since wandered off, distracted by yet another game. The writing student seemed to be particularly enraptured by the idea of collecting as many plushies as they possibly could, considering the little collection they were building.
Miah on the other hand seemed to be far more interested in all the various bits and bobs that there were to offer. Before she could walk up to any of the booths however, the same, seemingly restless librarian was running her way again.
"Erm... how many more different books do you have? I already have five, but... I could use another, I suppose!" she offered with a grin, before finding a sixth book shoved into her hands. Miah wasn't nearly as put off as she potentially should've been.
"Maybe I'll just... try and get all of these before the end of the night,..." the imp muttered to herself.
Maybe they should've felt bad about wandering off from the imp, but honestly? In that moment, Alis couldn't really care less. They'd meet up later on during the holiday, or if nothing else, back at the apartment.
For now, Alis wanted to spend their time collecting as many different plushies as they could. Why? Well... why not, was the better question! Plushies were cute, and their room was particularly boring at the moment. Plushies were the perfect kind of flair, despite seeming almost uncharacteristic for the Baphomet.
A certain fennekit plushie to match their Vespercat one currently had their eye, and Alis would have it soon if they had anything to say about it.
"You know... I never did buy myself another one of these cute little bracelets," the demon muttered softly to herself as she stared down at her wrist, gently toying with the purple beaded bracelet, before turning on her heel. She peered around the festivities then, trying to remember exactly where the booth with the bracelets was.
Before she could pinpoint it however, a certain librarian came rushing past, shoving a book into her hands while going on about the importance of reading.
