Wait. On the page of that notebook...was that definitely Puchen's handwriting? Alifax bent over to get a closer look, pulling Sarcel's postcard over from where Kursha had placed it and thinking back to the priestess' postcard. Hivestuck I'd like to get out my magnifying glass and smoking pipe. What: leeroi's autograph vs peculiar postcard, (memory of) threatening postcard Where: handwriting How: eyes + memory

Hivestuck I'd like to get out my magnifying glass and smoking pipe. What: Cracked Photo (photos) and Where: There was some blueblood found, is the blueblooded troll look like a match to the color of the blood? How: Just eyes and memory It's hard to tell if it's a match, but considering the age of the photo and considering the blueblood is no longer living it is likely that the blood is not a match.

Ҕᾁʐɱᾁʂ Ҏӫςɧῒɱ xxxxCentral Hivestem || Rumpus Block Hazmas's cheeks colored with green rage as he clenched his teeth. Normally when folks wanted to be quite, they bit their tongue. However, that was the case with him, the little green blood wouldn't have a tongue left. It was bad enough he'd lost evidence and had had to admit it in order to keep Chiara as a friend - now he had to keep his temper so as not to go Machim on the purple-blooded rag mouth!
"I'll keep that in mind," he replied, forcing a smile for the blue blood before it fell into a deadly scowl. "Careful, Eridia, I hear the faygo leaves pretty bad stains, 'specially when it's reached its expiration date," he said flatly, but had to stop when ruddy, purple-blooded bodag from Rutven's arse took his notes! Were Chiara not right there in front of him he would've tackled the purple blood in a fit of howling fury. Letting out a growl that was dangerously close to a snarl, Hazmas his hands through his hair in an attempt to use up is outrage. However, that didn't stop him from hearing the pain-in-the-load-gaper's question.
"Halberd Unit?" he asked looking up again. It rang a bell. "Yeah, that's Schrad's unit. She's it's current leading officer. Why? What's it to you?"
Apart form his seething temper, the greenblood was genuinely curious and wondered what in the world would prompt her to ask about it.

Hivestuck I'd like to get out my magnifying glass and smoking pipe. What: leeroi's autograph vs peculiar postcard, (memory of) threatening postcard Where: handwriting How: eyes + memory Puchen's handwriting is abrupt and sharp, nearly stabbing through the page. The peculiar postcard's font is in an intelligent, small rounded writing. You take a look closer and notice an olive sheen glimmer on the postcard. Neither matches the typed postcard threat.

"Very well then." Tamiya exclaimed. She wrote down the information on the pages and, in a stroke of luck, found that all of the pieces had come together. "Here we are." Tamiya's Findings The guests appear to have made very specific paths through the mansion. They are so irregular I might wonder if there is a method to their wild, ******** madness. It appears as though Shishi Schrad went down to the basement, perhaps to interrogate the mutant. Afterwards, she moved to the library, though I cannot fathom why (ugh). In the hour after she moved to the armory. To arm herself? To look at weapons? Seems appropriate. Tigwyn Ioyana began in the gog-forsaken library, probably reading some horrid books. He went to the trophy block after and interacted with Comedi. Afterwards, he went back to the library (strange to go back a second time, hmm? What could be in there.... Except for false idols and horrendous "science" libel.) The horrific electric pissblood was only present in the second hour. The second is still present, possibly dead. Hopefully dead. Erilyn Awassi hung back in the dining block talking with Brother Deburu Comedi before retreating to the Armory, I assume to arm themselves. They were then spotted in the Ball Block. Mapuye Puchen immediately made for the armory, after which she shifted to the Ball Block. She then retreated to the nutrition block where she was seen eating cake... Gerard Rutven was staring from across the room at Erilyn and Comedi prior to moving to the Ball Block. He was missing after Hour 3. Brother Deburu Comedi was speaking with Erilyn in the dining block and drinking Faygo before he moved to the trophy block, and later found respite in the Training Room. Something odd caught Tamiya's attention. "Cake..." She muttered. "There was something odd... About Puchen eating... The cake..." She couldn't place her finger on it, then she gave a metallic snap. "Ah! Puchen's gloves! They were so clean... So clean." She seemed satisfied.

After a bit of friendly socializing, Elidae motioned towards Tamiya (again), interested in her beautiful illustrations. They were so organized! However, her sponge clots perked up upon the topic of cake.
"Puchen was eating cake...?" Elidae started getting excited, practically flailing her hands about then pointed at the hour 3 illustration with enthusiasm. "I was in the Nutrition Block during that time and looked in the oven, no one was around. There was a whole cake inside, except for two pieces. But... but that was before Puchen was in there, right?"
She tapped her finger on her chin. "When did the two pieces go missing and where did they go? How many were there when Puchen was in the kitchen? Was there a whole cake right after the first hour? Who knew about the cake?"
"Did anyone happen to look in the oven during the second and fourth hours?" She called out into the room. This was really important to her.
She looked back at the diagram, then tapped a tiny finger on the library. "I spoke to Tigwyn within the fourth hour. He said he thought Schrad was following him and that could be why she was in there during the third? He also said he was looking for some military publications when he came back during the fourth." She smiled and shrugged.
Anyone with information about the cake

Azrael looked in Elidae's directions. It was too bad he didn't have time to catch up with her during the investigation. Maybe he'd invite her to that rollar rink he'd been meaning to check out. Whatever it was called. At the mention of cake, Azrael remembered when he had checked the oven that there was a cake, whole but ready to serve. Did she maybe have a lead related to cake? " It was whole the second hour, but ready to serve," the young blueblood said loudly so that the yellowblood would hear him where she was. He glanced back at his group and decided to make another trip to Eli's side so that it was easier to talk. " After that, I can't say, I didn't go back to check, it didn't seem exactly relevant, Why do you ask?" He was really interested in hearing what she had to say about it. Maybe it could move them one step closer to the killer. He looked over the map, they didn't have time to be examining any other clues or fighting.

It's now time to cast your votes! Regina has written the name of each suspect on the wall, troll can walk up and make a tally mark under the name. For your vote to be counted it must be put in the thread poll, and you must make a post stating your troll's name and who they are voting for. Any votes that are in the poll above that do not correspond to a thread post will be discarded at the end. Your troll can do this anonymously or openly. You have until the reset tomorrow to cast your vote. Another reminder - if any of the npcs at the table sense an opportunity to add to the conversation, they might speak up.

"Ha haaaaa, Elidae~" Mera cooed. She kissed the yellowblood on the forehead while she was still within reach, and only after a similar greeting from Eli. "I'm glad to finally get a moment with you. You look gorgeous tonight, darling. Your everything looks fantastic and I am so glad you made it. We'll have to find some time later to chat. Perhaps find a hotel after this and have breakfast tomorrow after the dust settles? We have plenty of clues but not as clear about the culprit as we'd like. This here is Aconan. She's a peach."
Mera paused, watching Elidae address Kursha. "Ah, you are on a first name basis with the Commander?" Interesting. Interesting indeed.
However, flighty as always, Elidae was soon up and about and concentrated on cake. Mera was not so interested; the queen had called for the trolls to settle on a culprit. She didn't like being on the spot like this, but....
Hemera glanced at the clues again. Then scanned them bit by bit, over and over. She looked at the board, and swallowed. This was it. While other trolls nattered, Hemera got up, made her way over, and voted for Awassi as the murderer. She would explain herself if need be, but didn't like still being somewhat unsure.blackbird cake Just want you to see that Mera did respond at some point. uwu

Aconan wasn't sure that being called a peach was a compliment - weren't they soft and fuzzy and harmless? Though she supposed they were soft and fuzzy with a poisonous inner, so that was a compliment - dangerous but not looking it. (Plus, she admitted to herself, soft and fuzzy was a good thing too.) She beamed at Hemera and her yellowblooded friend, raising a hand in a quiet wave.
And then it was time to vote. Aconan wasn't 100% sure, but the evidence all pointed to Awassi. Well. To be honest the evidence pointed to the fact that EVERYONE was up to something, but Awassi seemed the one most likely to have murdered Epratt. She cautiously slunk up to the board and marked a tally under the other greenblood's name.

Alifax tapped Kursha on the shoulder. " Hey," he said, holding his notebook at the guy significantly. " I've found...a little more," he said, hesitantly. When he had Kursha alone he relayed to him all the information he'd been keeping to himself, with the exception of the beetles he'd found, and including the information about the cigarettes (although not that Sarcel had been involved at all). He was taking those beetles, if he could...and it wasn't really in him to betray Sarcel's current weakness to Kursha. There was no point. If anyone else eavesdropped, it didn't matter to him. They were trying to find information.

Kursha felt a hint of annoyance when someone tapped him on the shoulder, but immediately brightened upon seeing Alifax. Turning away from Leeroi, he went to join Alifax away from the group of children. The redblood, it turned out, had a ton of new information to offer. Kursha mulled over it, thoughtful, then shared what he had learned from Aconan, Hemera, and Adamaz. Their knowledge at this point was essentially the same but perhaps Alifax would draw different conclusions. In any case—Kursha cast his glance back towards Regina—it looked like it was time to stop “chatting” and “poking” around. Someone had to start throwing names around, or it was all their heads on cutting block. He took centre floor and cleared his throat. “All right! Unless anyone's got any last minute contributions they'd like to make—” he gave Leeroi, Eridia, and Chiara a meaningful look, “I'm gonna lay down what I got. First off, I'd like to draw everyone's attention to the missing diva, Gerard Rutven. The question of his blood colour was dismissed at the time, but I've got reason to believe he's faking it. Besides the shades hiding the hue of his lookstubs, one of the kiddos picked up a towel with shattered glass in his colour and curiously spattered with teal blood. Which kinda brings me to my next point.“Also on the towel, there were traces of gunpowder. Stands to reason that the owner of the blood got shot. But by who...” He trailed off for dramatic pause. Only for a moment though. “Rutven was last seen in the company of Deburu Comedi. Most folks seem to agree that they were fighting in the ball block before continuing it Glub knows where else. I tell you what though—after Rutven disappeared, Comedi was sitting in the armoury where he had easy access firearms. As far as motive goes, Rutven seemed to have an interest in Erilyn. We got a letter in his writing basically saying as much. Maybe Comedi felt like he was infringing on his relationship. Too bad the clown's not here to talk about it. Nor Rutven. Who knows though, maybe he'll show up.”Shrugging, he gestured to Leeroi's crew. “They got a pretty good stack of evidence over there indicating that he's a rainbowdrinker. Any questions?” He quirked a brow. “Take 'em that way.“Moving right along, we got Erilyn Awassi. I got a few questions I'd like to ask them: namely, how familiar are you with the Phoenix Initiative? No really, I'm curious. You've got a couple of mutantbloods—excuse me—one mutanblood in your basement in a cage that you just happen to have on prong. Seems a little convenient. If convenient doesn't cut it though, I got a couple of interesting letters regarding the Phoenix Initiative that I would bet any amount of beetles were written by you.“Oh!” Kursha feigned a look of surprise. “Speaking of beetles, I'm curious about your relationship with Kewrei, besides your blatant dislike. I've got a note here sayin' that he owed you some beetles.”Time to welcome the flames. At least maybe he could get one of those assholes talking. Hivestuck Accusing...!Gerard: Of being a rainbowdrinker and lying about his hemotype. Comedi: Of shooting Gerard. Erilyn: Of harbouring mutantbloods and working with the PI. OoC I will make this post better when I don't have to be at work in 6 hours. < /sob>

Chiara MotekuxxxxxVotingChiara shifted from foot to foot. She had been busy this party, but not with murder investigations. No, there were other things on her list of "to-do"s. Now it was time to decide who was the troll behind all this crazy stuff? It wasn't that Chiara minded condemning a troll to their death, it was that she minded some troll cool enough to kill at a party wasted by being culled. Chiara looked at Gerard. He was so pathetic. Then she glanced at Eridia, who was right beside her. With a sigh Chiara goes to vote for Erilyn. They really should have thought this party thing out a little better. ~ She REALLY wants to vote Gerard, but Eridia is watching. So she votes Erilyn.

Again the highblood made the blah blah gesture as he spoke. Greenbloods were just plain annoying to her, and all seemed to be dropped when hatched. Still, Hazmas showed some interest on her question which made her wonder whether or not she should say something regarding the unit. "Well...." She glanced at the cracked picture and motioned him to get closer. "Its..." Eridia looked at her sides, as if her information was very valuable.
"...NONE OF YOUR STINKING BUSINESS!!!" The child shouted directly in the greenblood's sponge clots. Who the hell he thought he was? As if she'd tell him what she knows! Eridia flipped her hair and approached the tally board. Seemed like everyone believed Erilyn was the killer which was truly possible. They had the motive plus something told her they were the reason the clown got somewhat poisoned. Comedi owed her beetles and they seemed to avoid him after the second hour. Weird... they were morails after all. She couldn't help but thing this whole Halberd Unit had something to do with the mystery....
