Pokemon Name: Sphinxie
Pokemon Type: Fairy
Image:
User Image

Description:
Sphinxies are bizarre pokemon. They don’t show up in the wild, only inside homes. It is said that the home that a sphinxie comes to is truly blessed, even if a little smelly after their arrival. They love the attention of trainers and practically volunteer to be “captured,” so long as they can get some cuddles along with the training.

They are frail, but the bond they form with their trainers are unparalleled. A sphinxie with a caring trainer will be a fairy type so powerful that dragon-types everywhere will tremble! Still, they are much more popular in contests than in battles. They can adapt to a wide variety of situations with an attentive trainer, just pack a sweater if you bring the m anywhere cold.

Moves:
Tail whip - Baps so good with his tail! Doesn't do damage, but is so cute that enemies lose defense.
Poison cloud - Sphinxie can emit a powerful stench. Don't ask from where. Does small amounts of damage, but has a high chance of causing poison
Snuggle - Reduces defenses of enemy pokemon to zero, but drains the pp of the rest of sphinxie's moves to zero as well. Very adorable, but sphinxie doesn't want to do anything else after.
Pounce: Their cute little wings aren't so good for flying, but can give them some extra speed on that pounce!

Phobias:
Sphinxies fear most being abandoned. They bond so closely with their first trainer that it is hard for them to work with any other. Spinxies abandoned in this way are often despondent and need copious care to restore to cheer. Even more terrible would be a sphinxie abandoned in the wild. They are not well suited for surviving without humans.

Pokemon Name: Hallowkit
Pokemon Type: ghost/steel
Image:
User Image

Description:

Found in the dark depths of caves, dens, or thickly dense woods, the Hallowkit lives. Said to be reincarnations of Pokemon warriors from before, who came to fuse with their armor, they are often revered as respectable beings throughout history. Light on their feet, and quiet, they can only be picked up on by the metallic sounds that sometimes tremor from them, with the echolocation they use to navigate. They are loyal in nature, observant, and tend to be on the quiet side. Some get unnerved by their tendency to stare, their vacant and eye-less sockets somewhat chilling.

Ability: Wonder Guard/Sturdy

Attack | ++++ | 50
Defense | +++ | 40
Sp.Attack | + | 20
Sp.Defense | +++ | 40

Moves:
- Iron Head: inflicts damage and has a 30% chance of causing the target to flinch.
- Shadow Claw: deals damage and has an increased critical hit ratio.
- Scary Face: lowers the target's Speed stat by two stages.
- Hone Claws: raises the user's Attack and accuracy by one stage each.

Phobias:
- Failure/Atychiphobia: Hallowkits, while able to accept honorable defeat, hate to lose repetitively. They are honorbound, and strive to improve themselves. When they are stuck in a rut of constant losses, they recede into themselves severely, which also translates to their abilities lacking.

- Betrayal: Being as loyal and dedicated to their trainers as they tend to be, Hallowkits take it quite hard when they are abandoned, or otherwise let down by their partners.

Pokemon Name: Kyrieo
Pokemon Type: Fairy/Dark

Description:
Kyrieo can be found stalking Celebi and the three Legendary Dogs. The reason for this is thought that Kyrieo is Celebi's shadow. The small wisp like creature can be found in most shadows along a forest floor. Either in a forest Celebi was rumored to have been seen in or one of the three Dogs. Beyond that its a Fairy/Dark Type Kyrieo isn't really too well known.

While those who do encounter it say that the power the small creature holds is terrifying, others say its more afraid of you than you are of it.

Moves:
Dark Pulse: It wants everyone away from it. This is a good method.
Fake Tears: Remember how it seems more afraid of you...yeah not so much.
Magical Leaf: Its in forests all the time so why not use the elements around it.
Shadow Sneak: ...really. It hides in shadows...this was a thing it had from the start.

Phobias:
Kyrieo is deathly afraid of Entei. Odd yes, but the Fire Dog will instantly bully Kyrieo if the dark fairy gets too close. Entei has never once harmed the smaller creature. Kyrieo runs away thinking it will one day...

Pokemon Name: Auttime
Pokemon Type: Dark / Grass
Image:
User Image

Description:
Auttime are quirky, slow moving pokemon. The tree’s that grow on their backs develop as they mature and match their surroundings. Much like a chameleon, their trees will develop buds in the spring, green leaves in the summer and red leaves in the fall, before they lose them completely for the winter. Unfortunately, these trees prevent quick movement in their native habitat (forests of Kanto) though they can shed their leaves to help aid maneuvering through certain areas, before recalling their leaves back to their rightful places. Auttime move slowly through the surrounding foliage; however the slow movement makes it hard for prey to notice them, and usually their tree's are often mistaken for real plants. They're not, and a bite from any Auttime foliage causes paralysis. They do not possess true claws, but dark orbs make up the pads of their feet...cushioning their steps to further hide their movement.

Moves:

Flames of Darkness:
A two sided attack, produced from both the Auttime’s mouth and the Auttime’s tail, it seeps into the surroundings before condensing around its target. It will then compress and try to crush the opponent.
Sabre Tooth:
Purely a physical attack. The Auttime’s teeth are hard as steel and whenever straight up threatened; they use them to chomp on the opponent.
Shed:
Auttime can drop all their leaves off their trees. They can then recall their leaves back their branches, slicing through anything in their path.
Sludge Prints:
Auttime can leave prints when required. If their opponents step into the prints, their opponent looses accuracy and occasionally it suppresses the opponent so they attack last.

Phobias:
Auttime fear endless winter, drought and plague. Anything that could continually destroy the tree's that provide their camouflage. Fire is not so much of a concern because they can always regrow after a period f time.

Pokemon Name: Berri Bear
Pokemon Type: Grass

Description:
Berri Bear is as much of a cutie as their name suggests. They use their looks to steal food as well blend in with blueberry plants. They always have a cute grin, but don't let that fool you since they are tricky little ones. That can steal your poke-balls before you even hear them. Trouble is also their middle name, since you may find them in the village or streets wrecking havoc. Painting walls with berrys, knocking over trash cans, and all the while giggling and smiling brightly about it. You can find them near berry plants or in bright green hills. You may even mistaken them for a berry if your not careful.

Moves:
-Grass Pelt : Boosts the Defense stat in Grassy Terrain.
-Giga Drain : The user's HP is restored by half the damage taken by the foe.
-Leaf Storm : Leaf Storm deals damage but lowers the user's Special Attack by two stages after attacking.
-Razor Leaf : Razor Leaf deals damage and has an increased critical hit ratio (1⁄8 instead of 1⁄16).

Phobias:
Bees - They fear these since bees often mistake them for a plant and land on them. Which is very unhappy for them, since they fear the stinger on there back. The second they see one they will come out of hiding and run around in circles in an attempt to make them leave them alone.
Honey - A sticky trap and one they fear could trap them forever. Since their once was a story told that one day when an ancestor was looking for food. It saw a bright gold object on the forest floor. It thought how shiny and beautiful it was. If only he could bring it home with him. So he raced towards it and tumbled into its evil trap. he cried out for help but no one saw him for days and by the time he was found he was almost dried out. after that he was taken to the nurse and the rest is history.

Description:
Swirlinot is a Pokémon without an apparent evolution. It's about three feet tall with a hypnotic face, it's 'eyes' and 'mouth/nose' constantly swirling. It bounces slightly as it moves, never seeming to move far from the ground. Not very quick and seemingly not very bright, it's easy to catch....provided you or you Pokémon don't make eye contact.

Moves:
Hypnotic Daze: Swirlinot gazes at its opponent, either paralyzing or confusing it.
Mourning Cry: Swirlinot lets out a wail, deafening its attacker briefly so it cannot hear its trainers commands correctly.
Sulk: Swirlinot sulks. It becomes harder to hit at this time.
Misty Wind: Swirlinot draws mists around it and taunts its opponent to attempt to cause it to be paralyzed or flee.

Phobias:
It fears bright sunlight, as it cannot use its Misty Wind attack. It also fears Pokémon like Whismur and its evolution, as Mourning Cry is rendered useless.

Pokemon Name: Statik
Pokemon Type: Electric
Image: N/A

Description: Statik's are small, electric type pokemon that are usually found in cities, due to the fact their main and only food source is the electricity given off of electronic devices humans make. They resemble small balls of pure energy, capable of emitting bright glow. Their face is bright blue, resemble that of a jack o lanturns face, placed spot on in the middle of the ball, also made of pure energy. Because of this they are commonly used as nightlights for children. They are friendly, and tend to giggle happily when treated kindly by their masters. It takes a patient trainer to tame this pokemon, as it tends to hiccup, causing small bursts of static around itself at random times. Most trainers end up with frizzy hair because of this!

Moves:

Static Shock - Statik emits a small, but powerful shock that can paralyze the enemy.

Glow Beam - The pokemon glows brightly, sending out a large, bright beam that damages the opponent.

Charge: Statik charges up, increasing its special attack.

Burst: Statik can build up energy for one turn, releasing it on the second turn for powerful damage.

Phobias: Power Outages. With no energy to sap off of, Statik's become sick, frail, and can eventually die.

Pokemon Name: Donangst

User Image

Description: Donangst, the thunderstorm pokemon. Rarely seen when weather is good, Donangst form large flocks, flying ahead of the storm. Seeing this pokemon generally indicates that the weather is about to turn sour and that one should take shelter as soon as possible. These pokemon may seem cute and cuddly at first glance, but one may be surprised when their seemingly soft fur delivers a nasty shock. The Donangst’s fur is able to carry a current and is often used in circuitry, however, it has also recently gained popularity in the fur industry. The rising popularity of this fur has led to a large decrease in the population.

Moves:
Psyshock- An attack that inflicts physical damage based on the opponents special defense
Miracle Eye- An ability that allows the user to hit an elusive opponent
Nuzzle- An attack in which the user snuggles up to the opponent causing paralysis and physical damage
Parabolic charge- An attack that restores the user's health by half the damage dealt

Phobias:
Sunny days- Donangst is extremely sensitive to the amount of moisture in the air. A dry heat can easily dry out it's fur and wings, leaving it unable to fly.
Small spaces- Donangst generally are found in large groups, they dislike confinement as it limits the flock size and messes up the social hierarchy within the flock.

Description:
Teapoteon is a very delicate Pokemon, not very good at fighting with its very contradictory types. It's main attack is spitting steam at its opponents, it can also get very hot, making it hard for opponents to land physical attacks. It is beloved by grandmothers for its companionable nature, love of tea, and sitcoms from the 50s, though it will hide if the grand kids come over. It comes in many colors and patterns, with floral patterns being beloved by collectors and Pokemon breeders, the most common looking like a Pokeball, but unlike Voltorb this doesn't make for good camouflage.

Moves:
Scald-Heats its body to great temperatures, may cause burns.
Tip me over-Starts squealing very loudly, may cause confusion.
It's getting hot in here-Fills immediate area with a dense steam, opponent may lose accuracy.
Steam beam-Like bubble beam only with steam, moderate damage, and may raise offense.

Phobias:
Gravity or small children. It is prone to shattering, and doesn't like grubby little fingers.

((First paragraph is just for fun and was not meant to count. ovo Just in case, though, the description will fall within the word count limit with or without it.))

Mophead, the Hairy Pokémon
#CANADAAAA
25% Male, 75% Female
Ability: Gooey, Damp
Hidden Ability: Stench

Mophead is a hairy mop of hair. It has large ears and large eyes to consume the souls of its victims, as well as a button nose that emits a squeak when pressed. (To be clear, it is the nose that emits the squeak, not the mouth.) Its luscious mane drags across the floor whenever it walks (or floats, or shuffles; some believe it to possess a body, but it has never been seen) and is prone to accumulating the horrors of the world. It loves to be washed and bathes in the drools of its enemies. It shows trust by peeing on shoes.

Moves:
  • Fake Tears - Despite the name, the tears are very real, and all-consuming. They flood the world when used, lowering its opponent's special defense and washing toilets in one fell swoop.
  • Tickle - Mophead strokes its opponents with its pristine eyelashes. This move is meant to be comforting; however, it lowers its opponent's attack and defense.
  • Tailwind - Temporarily increases speed via flatulent propulsion.
  • Close Combat - Mophead gets up close and personal to whisper unspeakable horrors; its opponents are dealt a crippling blow, while its own defense and special defense are lowered.

Phobias:
  • Cleanliness - It fears a life where it will have no meaning. (gasp)
  • Other Mopheads - There can only be one.

Pokemon Name: Elderton

Description:
This pokemon has two sages.

First stage resembles a small dark purple, almost black, berry overgrown with leaves. They are shy and rarely seen where a lot of ppl dwell. The leaves on them are green in spring and are actually new leaves that have replaced dark purple/greenish that adorned them during the winter which they use for shielding from cold as well. In spring they also grow tiny white flowers that turn into small berries which are ripe in late fall. They have medicinal properties and can be used for making tea.
In size they are like ostrich egg.

Small berries involves into second stage that is in size like a medium size dog. In spring they have lush leaves covering their head, back and tail, with ring around her neck and back of their arms. In spring leaves on their head and back give way to pure white flowers, that change into berries in fall and in winter into dark green/purplish leaves. Unlike their first stage they are quite easily spotted and are bit of mischievous that like to play pranks on travellers that end up meeting them. They are week to tea so if you want to catch one of these guys you just need to distract it with some tea. Their flowers and berries make wonderful teas so it is not uncommon for them to store the berries and use them for tea during the winter to get much needed vitamins.

Moves:
Vine whip - need grass cut or someone tied up to a tree or maybe makeshift bridge than you just need to ask for help from this little guy

Scratch - it might link like they have soft paws but when it comes to battle they'll show you their razor sharp claws and it won't be pleasant

Daze scent - they can paralyse or even put to sleep their opponents with the sweet scent of their flowers (only usable in spring)

Leaf song - this move requires a lot of concentration but the rustling of the leaves that grow on their backs can have such soothing sound to actually put their opponent to sleep

Leaf slash - they can use their leafs as projectiles and they are quite sharp

Phobias:
Locusts... a swarm of them. Those beasts eat everything in front of them and they seem to have preference for flowers growing on these guys backs. So they are sure to run for life when they see even one of those bugs.

Description:
Fishairly are a fish pokemon, often found in marshes or swamps. They prefer to hide in the mud during the day- their skin is delicate and burns easily. At night they like to swim and hunt in the moonlight. Their soft brown color helps them hide in muddy water. Breeders often try for a shade of brown they affectional call “lightly brewed sun-tea”, as it has been deemed the most beautiful in the species.

Fishairly are aggressive, and in battle they do very well as offensive pokemon. This comes from their natural drive to be territorial. They stay in their territory for their whole lives, only leaving when they need to hunt for food or look for love. They often eat small bugs, but will try for small fish if the opportunity arises.

Moves:
Dig - Fishairly digs into the ground and stays hidden for one turn, then emerges from the ground to surprise and deal damage to the opponent.
Mud Bomb - Fishairly throws a tightly packed ball of mud at the opponent.
Earthquake - Triggering a massive earthquake, Fishairly causes the ground to shake and hurt all pokemon nearby.
Aqua Tail - Using its tail, Fishairly smacks into the opponent with as much force as possible.

Phobias:
Fishairly fear fire pokemon, most especially Magmar, because they burn too hot and cause its skin to dry out and crack.

Pokemon Name: Whatever
Pokemon Type: Psychic
Image:
User Image

Description:
The Whatever is a pokemon whose strategy for existence is to try to mimic a normal, teenage human girl. In this method, they attempt to evade capture and recruitment into the fighting circuit. The Whatever is a fairly successful mimic in that, even though a pokemon normally only able to say its name would be easily discovered, the Whatever can play with inflection and feigned indifference.
A Whatever attempts to infiltrate human settlements, eating human food, and even sometimes attending human schools. However, while they may LOOK human, Whatevers are are not of human intelligence level; they just seem to be drawn to humans.

Moves:

* Change appearance - a Whatever can subtly alter their features psychically so that a Whatever is not easily recognized as a Whatever. Hairstyle, "clothing" style, and coloration can all be tweaked psychically to appear different to people.

*Frustrate - A Whatever can use their call, "Whatever" and psychic abilities to frustrate those who confront them, with the intention of getting them to go away and leave them alone.

* Sigh - With a deep intake of breath and a dramatic roll of the eyes (and psychic ability), a Whatever can goad an opponent to change their course of action, abandoning whatever it was they were initially going to do in favor of something else.

*Shriek - the Whatever's only damaging move, and typically only used in a dire scenario, the Whatever unleases a high-pitched shrieking sound that can deafen and knock back an opponent.

Phobias:
- Being Captured - A Whatever fears the most being captured and contained in a pokeball. They do whatever they can to avoid detection and capture.

- Being made to actually do something: Only narrowly being beat out by the Whatever's fear of Capture, and related to their fear of being made to fight, a Whatever despises having to actually DO anything productive, be it a menial task or a challenge.

((Yeah, I know this is terrible, and meant to be completely tongue in cheek. I do not subscribe to the "all teenagers" concept but thought it would be amusing to play with that as an inspriation. The stereotypes aren't real people, but the "Stereotypical teenager" generalizations are so silly it COULD be a pokemon wink )).

The tentacles are equipped with suckers that it uses to both catch prey, fight, and defend itself against predators.

The tentacles are sticky and moist, and will dry out if left out too long. That is why the Chiktacle tries to keep them under her feathers as much as possible. Occasionally she will move about in grassy areas to forages for food.

Tamed Chiktacles are are, but are wonderful Pokemon to have in your stable. They can be very loyal.
