Lelanna raised an eyebrow as Daemon reported his own trainer's similar form of motivation, a dangerous smile crossing her face, before it turned up into a smirk. "Well it sounds like our trainers would get along rather well, then," she remarked, shaking some dirt from her paws as she dried off, "That, or end up killing each other. Luckily, Kail knows not to call me fat unless he wants to get scaled, or perhaps have a punctured lung." she smirked, her tail thrashing a bit with some bite to emphasize her words. She could tolerate insults, she could certainly tolerate bluntness... but she did have her limitations, after all.
She looked calmly over at him, taking the opportunity to appraise some of his strengths during the conversation. He didn't seem too far behind her, in terms of training, and she was sure he was quite the force to be reckoned with in his peak physical condition. Not a battle she'd care to experience, given their mutual type similarities, and his aforementioned battle strategy. Maybe as a sparring match, but... certainly not with any intent to finish one another off.
Shaking the thought off, she gave a sort of sneering smile, clearly displeased at the mention of a swamp to train in. "Yeess.... I would... not enjoy that at all..." she remarked, her smile turning into a frown very quickly. Ugh... She wasn't one to turn her nose up at everything, but when there was a very good risk of getting stuck while trying to run, and then going face first into the muck because of it. "I suppose fire doesn't do good at drying all that mud out, then, hm?" she questioned.

Felix Devito's Daemon
A smirk crossed the hellhound's face as the Liepard spoke his mind on the matter of their trainers. "And the two are not necessarily mutually exclusive. It just means we had best find a safe spot to watch from when they do disagree," he commented mildly, although there was still a bit of amusement in his voice. He did catch the flailing tail and Lelana's tone as she mentioned her trainer knowing better than to say what his told him. A good thing to note for later, but he already figured such comments would be unwise.
It was his turn to have a frown as the blue Liepard brought up the thought of dealing with all the mud within the marsh. "As far as the terrain I deal with, you would be right. I can't really dry up the ground beneath me very efficiently." He grimaced a bit as he thought of the other side of things. "As far as what mud and muck gets on my body, though, I'm afraid I might dry it out a bit too well when I get heated enough in battle. In both meanings of the term. By the time the battle's over I'd likely have a shell of dirt clinging to my legs at the least and probably more depending on how deep the muck is. That means either enduring my trainer's attempts at breaking apart the dirt and brushing the pieces out of my fur or waiting until he can find something to hose me down with."

{{OoC: Eh, not as fun as the one before, but still fun. c: I don't think anything's going to be quite as fun as having our characters up against black powder-using enemies and, as I am doing my action with my character, having me go "Oh, by the way, my bombs do fire damage." It took two rounds to end the fight because one of the baddies wasn't grouped up with the other two. XD Not that that saved them from being blown up by their own black powder reserves. And no worries, I've been having a hard time getting thoughts together lately so I'd have probably been slow regardless.}}
This time, Lelanna did more than simply smirk at Daemon's remark-- she laughed, an unrestrained, amused laugh, and then brought her head down, a toothy, greatly amused grin crossing her face. "I think I'd sacrifice some safety for a good view at that," she remarked eyes flashing. She paused, then tilted her head slightly, her expression becoming passively curious. "I'm not sure I remember whether you've mentioned you're trainer's name or not..." she remarked.
Despite the obvious discomfort such a situation would bring, Lelanna clearly smirked at the mention of the other getting a full shell of mud coverage in such a setting during a battle. In fact, she seemed to muse over the idea, finding it quite entertaining, the entire time he talked, then gave a low chuckle when he finished. "Well... perhaps if you're lucky, it would provide some extra padding for whatever hits you took during the battle," she remarked in a purring, laughing tone. The amusement dulled as she thought about her own circumstances, a slight look fo annoyance crossing her feline features instead. "Certainly bettered than the matted mess I would become in such a situation. I'd rather climb whatever trees were available and attack from there, if at all possible..." she remarked with a drawl, her face scrunched up in distaste at the thought. Like a wet, half-drowned mud rat...

Oh... wow... xD That sounds pretty darn epic. I'm sorry the more recent game didn't quite hold up to the same standards, but I'm glad it was still fun! And that seems like quite the experience. What was it you were playing, exactly, if you don't mind me asking?

Felix Devito's Daemon
Apparently his view was right on the money as the blue Liepard burst out into pure laughter. Not even the haughty kind she had been employing before, but actual humor was found in what he knew would be a fun situation to watch should it ever occur. A light frown did cross his face, though, when Lelana commented on his own trainer's name. "No, I did not. His name is Felix, although it is not likely to matter in the long run." Daemon gave a bit of a shrug and tilted his head a touch as he considered how to best put things. There wasn't really a way to give a good explanation without either lying or giving too much away. "He does not like to give his real name," he said simply as he shrugged again.
The idea of having a bit of improvised armor was amusing to the canine but he lightly shook his head and chuckled. "Perhaps, but it would weigh me down. Softening blows would do me little good if I were to take more hits," he commented as he considered the option. He also considered how the lady would look if she were stuck in the mud and had to keep from smirking at the idea. At least she could avoid actually getting in the foul liquid if there were enough trees nearby, a luxury he did not have. Canines weren't anywhere near as good at climbing trees as felines.

{{OoC: The system we're using is Pathfinder, if that makes any sense to you. If not, basically it's a pencil and paper game with lots and lots of dice and set in a mostly medieval time period. I say mostly because the GM is using a lot of homebrew stuff as well. But yeah, we get our epic moments, and there will likely be more to come. Heck, I even had to give a warning that one of my characters might switch sides under the right circumstances.
Yeah. Seems Sable's the only one blessed by the muses this past week or something. Either that, or all their blessings are going to the Pathfinder characters I have. XD But it gets annoying when here or with another character I only put out a couple or three paragraphs when I know I could do a lot more. ; n ;
Aaaand call from GM to clear up some things meant I got distracted after dinner. ; n ;}}
Lelanna lifted her head, a very unreadable expression on her face as Daemon reported his trainer's name. Her tail calmly, almost thoughtfully, waved behind her, before finally a vulpine smile crossed her face. "How intriguing.... Kail was the same way up until recently. But we've left our fun little gang, and his guard has lowered since then... I don't think he feels as threatened," she remarked, tilting her head, "And I don't like to feed into his paranoia. I assume your trainer has similar reasons for... precautionary measures?" Not that she would blame him for not replying. She'd essentially take it as confirmation, but... she wouldn't pry.
Lelanna seemed to consider this, looking up with a thoughtful expression, then lowering her gaze to him with a sly smirk. "Oh, I suppose, but I'm sure you'd make a dashing mud warrior..." she chuckled, then stood, stretching and arching her back a bit, her tail swishing to shake some dirt off, "I don't suppose you'd be interested in resuming training." She didn't want to take... too much time off, after all.

Gosh, Pathfinder... that sounds so incredibly familiar, but I don't think I know very much about it. That sounds interesting, though! I've never personally played games like that, but I've heard a lot about them. The GM's always sound amazing to me, with all they do and everything. Believe I had a friend who had a similar style game (not sure if they were using Pathfinder or something else) to do a pokemon version, and just went... went very crazy xD They were having way too much fun with it.
But, at any rate, that sounds incredibly interesting! Both your characters, and everything they're all doing! At the very least, doesn't seem things will likely calm down for long for them xD
Ah, I hear you there. Ajicka has been getting all of my attention, which is actually really good considering how rarely I've been posting with her, and her mass amount of Lucky Egg usage. Hopefully the muses will spread their inspiration a bit as time progresses, though... o ~o ;
Oh! I'm sorry about the distraction, but I'm glad things got cleared up, at least! ovo

Felix Devito's Daemon
An eyebrow raised as Lelanna mentioned her trainer being in some sort of gang but he knew better than to interrupt her. He was already starting to piece things together, although he did not have much to go by yet. Just that this Kail person worked with a lot of psychic Pokemon, probably while with the gang the Liepard mentioned. It was bothersome but Daemon was willing to let it slide as a coincidence for the moment. Especially since the Liepard was catching on that there was more in common with their trainers than just their attitudes. "Similar, yes. It sounds like he's one chapter ahead of your trainer as far as circumstances go... Which worries me," the canine admitted, knowing that he shouldn't but feeling like it would likely be safer to tell her than anyone else. Dark types were highly resistant to pesky psychic Pokemon that wanted to peek inside their heads. No longer immune due to that thrice-damned Miracle Eye move, but still very safe. And he only knew of a small handful of dark types that could communicate with their trainers. Liepard certainly wasn't one of them.
He chuckled a bit at the female's remark concerning how he would look with a set of earthen armor and got up when she asked about training more. "Of course. Did you have any plans in particular?" he replied, glancing around a moment to take in the various options. He wasn't exactly one for weight lifting or climbing, and swimming was right out of course, but aside from that he could usually find some means to make use of training equipment. And, while he was a bit more interested in working on his flames for the moment, he saw nothing wrong with continuing to be around the feline. He was a touch surprised that, of all the Pokemon he ended up enjoying the company of here, it was a fellow dark type and a feline no less. But, then, it seemed that aside from her flirtatious behavior, they really were rather similar.

{{OoC: I think that friend might have been me. XD Level 20 Ducklett vs level 50 Nidoking ringing a bell?
Yeah, got to clear up the whys of my character possibly switching sides and due to info from the GM I now go from "maybe" to "95% chance" for that happening.
XD Isn't that the truth. I need to get Cameron's muse back in order so I can do stuff with him, too. Might need to slap it around some so he can get to work. He has so much to do and so little time! D:}}
Lelanna lifted her head, then tilted it to the side, clearly intrigued. "A chapter ahead of Kail, you say...? Well now, that is curious..." She paused a moment, considering that, and what it might mean, then added, "What exactly makes that so worrisome? And, don't worry-- you don't have to answer." She gave a bit of a playful smirk. "I understand the need for privacy and all, especially if it's demanded by one's trainer..." Not that she didn't very much want her curiosity sated. She just had enough... understanding on the matter to not push too hard.
She nodded a bit as he asked about training, walking a bit, though keeping her pace slow until they made a decision. "I was thinking about either trying some rock climbing again... or taking a go at that obstacle course I noticed you trying, earlier. Preference?"

Felix Devito's Daemon
Daemon was glad that the Liepard was willing to give him some privacy on the matter but still figured he might as well explain some of what he said. "I've gathered that he had done some regular work for some group or other prior to acquiring me. After that point it seems that if he still working with them, it is through other contacts hiring him," he explained, then huffed quietly. "As for why it is worrisome, well, I've seen what happens to people along the path that our trainers seem to be walking. The endings they get are rarely pleasant..." It was starting to dawn on him why he was so willing to explain things, but he pushed the thought aside. Felix was good at what he did. He wasn't some amateur. Things wouldn't go south so easily. Probably.
The hellhound thought for a moment as he followed beside Lelanna, looking between the obstacle course and the rocky terrain that wasn't too far off. "I think..." he muttered, letting his words trail a moment as he finalized his decision, then smirked as he glanced back at the Liepard. "I think some climbing sounds like a good plan. More your area of expertise than mine, but likely to be something that will come in handy fairly soon."

{{OoC: Sorry about the extra quote, but I just realized I forgot to add the experience points for the previous post. XD
Oh wow... That's... That's certainly a different route than I would have taken. XD}}
Lelanna lapsed into uncharacteristic silence for a long moment at the hellhound's words. She looked up at the sky, thoughtfully, then smirked a bit, and lowered her gaze to him. "I suppose I can see why you might think that, however, Kail is quite capable of taking care of himself. All that have come after him, he's essentially blown up or jailed... He's cut ties completely with our old group, and they seem to have stopped chasing him, for the most part. However.. who knows. We'll have to see how things turn out... but if your Felix is still involved in it all to some degree, I can understand why concern is still needed. Not even someone as distanced as dear Kail is safe entirely...." she mused, her tail still swishing thoughtfully.
She raised an eyebrow as the fire-dark pokemon began to reply, then trailed off, waiting, and smirking as he finally gave an answer. "Sounds good to me. It certainly helps work some muscles you don't always use just running and such," she remarked, making her way towards the rocks, walking first, then picking up a long trot, picking up a bit of speed to begin leaping up the rocks once they drew close.

Because iv left these guys in the Day-care for like 2,3 weeks now ima do a time skip of 1 week.
It had been several days wondering the daycare. They not yet made any new friends sense their introduction with the last group all of whom seemed quite odd for one reason or another. They had left them then seeking food and when they returned could find them anymore. Perhaps their trainer had returned for them. Sonoko, their trainer wasn't one to forget her pokemon but it had been a week straight. Perhaps she'd gotten caught up in something and hadn't yet had chance to return for them. It wasn't a big deal in truth. The twins and Ralts had spent most of their time trading blows in training Leaving little shy Ralts to her own things. She opted rather then train to study some of the other pokemon in the daycare.
Thus far her favorite to watch had been a Vulpix with a deep blue coloration. Second to that was a Houndoom with a close third being a Cyndaquil. Others included a Muk and a liepard. The twinse were the least interesting to watch. If they weren't fighting or arguing they were eating and sleeping. But for all their arguments and such they never ventured very far from one another. Even sleeping next to one another at night.
Daemon nodded thoughtfully at the Liepard's reassurances, at least until she mentioned something about people being blown up. That made him halt for a moment with a surprised expression on his face before he shook his head lightly and continued along. At least the rocks gave the canine something to focus on that didn't involve weighing the two trainers against one another. With a running start Daemon also leaped onto one of the rocks, then another. He took a different route than Lelanna but kept her within easy view.

Lelanna ran along the grass, leaping once she got to the rocks, trying to move fast-- not that it was a race or anything-- but still occasionally taking her time to be sure of her footing. She didn't mind that the conversation lapsed into silence, given that the workout was enough to get her a bit out of breath, but once she reached the top, she shook her head, looking for Daemon. "What do you say about going up and down this a few times, until we're tired, and then taking a walk elsewhere?" she suggested, figuring the walk could be a cooldown, until they decided what else to do to train.

It took Daemon a bit longer to find a path to the top, not being able to jump quite as high as Lelanna with each bound and therefore having to be a bit more careful with which rock he jumped on, but soon enough he was nearby and hearing her suggestion. "I'd say that's reasonable. No sense in dashing to the next area if we decide on one while we train here," he replied with a nod, then took a brief moment for a few calm breaths before starting to make his way back down. The training was helpful for more than just getting his strength up. It also took his mind off speculating on whatever would happen once his trainer recalled him from the area.

Felix Devito's Ooze
Ooze's dream ended rather abruptly as he felt a ball of some sort hit him in the head. Rather literally as, due to his amorphous body, the large ball actually sunk in and got stuck where it struck him and was now partially sticking out of the section of sludge that served as his head. "Eeeeeeeyyyyyyy! 'Oosa wise guy?" the Muk complained tiredly as he looked around for who might have tossed something at him. He had enough of balls getting stuck in him from back when people tried to capture him.

Lelanna nodded as he agreed, stepping and side stepping to get her footing, and admittedly procrastinating starting on the way down. It was... very hard on her feet, with the impact, but... that was what she was training for, so there was no excusing slacking on it. Letting conversation lapse back into silence, she leaped down with him, carefully measuring her distances, and trying to brace herself as she landed to reduce the impact as much as possible. At the moment, grace wasn't her priority-- safety was.

Daemon tried to make sure he bent with each impact as he leaped from rock to rock, trying to prevent any one set of bones or muscles from taking the brunt and instead spreading the pressure out along the legs, shoulders, hips, and more. While it meant more parts took the impact, it also meant he could take many more of those landings than if he kept rigid. A page he had taken from watching other feline Pokemon such as Persian and Delcatty in the past. But his landing wasn't the only thing he worked on. He also had to work on reflexes in a sense, quickly deciding which rock was a good choice for his next jump and acting accordingly even if his body wasn't quite ready for him to do so. Not that he was trying to race against the Liepard, but the whole point of training was to push himself further. That wouldn't work so well if he went easy on himself.

{{OoC: Ah, I was wondering why there was silence that time. XD Honestly, I thought you just didn't have anything to respond with. I know that happens all the time with me, so no worries. > u < And eh, still distracted but at least it's not to the degree I was yesterday.}}
Felix Devito's Ooze
Seeing no culprits about Ooze just plucked the ball out of his body with annoyance and tossed the sludge-covered sphere away. He didn't really care which direction it went and also didn't care who found it. The only thing he cared about were that it disrupted his sleep and that whoever tossed it wasn't likely to want it back now.
