It had sustained quite a bit of damage but it hadn’t been poisoned which was a relief. The creature was covered in battle wounds to which the teen was tending to. There were more wounds on its body than she saw with Venusaur’s but at least its body was small enough for her to easily see the wounds. Misa still used Zubat’s assistance in order to make sure that all of Sandslash’s wounds were taken care of. There would be no infection on her watch!

Not one to shy away from a bit of work Viduus got straight into things, levitating boxes off of nearby shelves and opening their tops to peer in before placing them back; he didn't want to rouse suspicion by leaving boxes in new places, even if that would've been easier. At the same time Viduus made sure to keep an eye on the door, not too keen on being caught by any employee-- that just wouldn't bode well for him. It was slow work, and a few times he actually had to stop and try to recall what it was he was even supposed to be looking for, but eventually he managed to find exactly what he was looking for, a pair of spectacles that matched the description Grayson had given him! As to be expected there was an entire box filled with Choice Specs, but since he'd only been asked to grab one pair Viduus kept to one, placing them atop his own face while he worked on closing the box back and setting it back in place. With his task completed he made his escape, just in time too! As an employee slipped inside of the storage room just as Viduus phased back through the walls.

With spectacles snagged Viduus skipped his way back to Grayson, meeting back up with his trainer right in front of the gym as luck would have it. "Here you go boss!" Pleased with his success Viduus handed over the spectacles before giving a bow, goofy grin wide across his face. Grayson looked over at his pokemon before a ghost of a smirk appeared across his face, "thanks, you can return now." The Gourgeist gave a firm salute right before he was engulfed in a red light, leaving his trainer to address a still-angry Charon. "Here, these are for you." With a yawn he unceremoniously tossed the spectacles over, much to the Litwick's surprise, before he stretched himself out. "I wouldn't burn them, if I were you, they're supposed to give you a boost in attacks."
Charon looked uncertainly at the pair of glasses, unable to help but squint at the ridiculous design on the front, he wasn't sure if he could trust them, let alone Grayson's word, but after a moment he hesitantly slipped them onto his face; as of right now there was no harm in choosing to believe the human. If this turned around to bite him he'd just make sure to pay him back, on top of the whole 'unwillingly captured'.

With his pre-planning finished Grayson gave a long, extended yawn before he turned around to enter the gym, only to wrinkle his nose as it was assaulted by the smell of chlorine; Aita, none too pleased with the smell either, mewled in distaste before he reached both paws up to cover his sensitive nose. Only Emmet and Styx appeared to be unperturbed, the latter adjusting his glasses before he looked to Grayson expectantly. "You aren't going to heal your pokemon before the battle? I noticed it take a few hits back in Mt. Moon," he questioned, simply curious rather than accusative. "He'll be fine," the teen replied, sniffling a bit before he dropped his hand down and started walking aimlessly down the strips of dry land; the building wasn't too big, he'd find Misty eventually. Emmet shook his head but, ultimately, stayed behind with Aita no doubt, who had absolutely no interest in getting closer to the strong scented water.
Luckily for him one of the swimmers was kind enough to point out Misty herself, saving Grayson a trip. With a nod of thanks he started towards the bright-haired woman--wondering how he hadn't guessed she was the one running the pool in the first place--Styx glancing curiously at the water all the while. Though she had no urge to jump right in (there were far too many chemicals for her taste) seeing such a large expanse of the liquid did leave her wanting to visit the ocean. Perhaps they'd go soon? Several, slow steps later and Grayson stood in front of the swimmer, who wore her hands on her hips and a confident grin. "Here for a battle I take it? Let's get this started then! I still need to do my laps!" Without offering a verbal response Grayson indicated for Charon to take the stage, the Litwick taking the time to adjust his new specs before he waddled forward. All the while Grayson couldn't help but to listlessly appraise the woman before him.
Misty seemed the type to enjoy exercise, huh? He couldn't relate.
