Kyle sighed as he was sat back down again and brought his knees to his chest. "Leave me with Nate." Kiiro nodded and carefully ushered Amelia and the twins out of the room, leaving Nate in there alone with Kyle. She carefully shut the door behind them, and Evelin made a face. "I don't want to put more strain on him." Kiiro shook her head. "It's not that Kyle isn't comforted by both of your presences, it's just his fears had been imagined, and it's a lot for him to take." She smiled to them. "And don't worry about Nate either. It can't be easy seeing his best friend in that state, especially when he knows he had a hand to the cause of it." Evelin slowly nodded. "I understand." Kiiro sighed. "It's probably best Kyle gets his rest now." Dante saw for a glimmer of a moment, Hana's face turn sour as the child latched to her leg. But she couldn't be like that. She smiled and knelt down to the childs level, pinching her cheeks with a chuckle. "You're a cute one aren't you?" She giggled and spun her around before taking her up in her arms. Dante smiled as he watched. "You're good with kids. I've seen you with Silvea." Hana looked away a brief moment, a moment Dante couldn't see. "Kids have always loved me for some strange reason." There was strain in her voice, keeping back pain.

*Agrrrabaaaba!" Asuna replied mmoving her arms out and trying to make sense of out no sense at all. She looked to donte however with a screeching giggle, then started to clap, missing one hand from the other half of the time. But it was okay for Donte and Hana to continue there talk, Asuna wouldn't be able to tell anyone...
Meanwhile Theador shied, "yea... kyle needs to figure out kirro that, even though he is afrade to hurt us, we should have a choice too every once in a while. The whole things almost seems one sided sometimes, and this was our moment to show him that, we can make our own choices too. He protects us, well now we can also protect him. He just has to let us, because if it was the other way around, he would want the same thing that we do." He nodded and put a arm around his sister, "come on sis, lilly made extra breakfast down stairs for us too." He led her down the stairs, as if it would be hard to pull her away from the door or something. He didn't shout at Kirro or anything, but in a sense he felt he was alittle too stern. Being serious was hard, and he didn't like it. As they reached the bottem he realized in all that was going on, he forgot all about Xenia for the first time since she'd been at the castle. Crap. For Evelin, it was the first time in a long time, that Xenia wasn't around theador.
Meanwhile Eve found herself strapped to a metal table. Her arms and legs strapped down. It looked like a torcher table, and it may have been. She stared out to the celing as Veria prepaired a few things. Both in silence. Eve didn't know where she was, or what was about to really happen. Was this the right decition? Veria appeared standing over her with a vile in her hand, "would you like to be asleep while I work on you? It may be painful." Eve didn't really care, her expression never changed, "I deserve the pain." She answered finally. Veria hesitated but nodded, "vary well." She pulled back and spun the table around to her where there was all sorts of viles, of liquid set up, and many tools aswell. Veria was putting some rubber gloves on, "I'm going to have to violate you alittle to watch for unwanted side effects." Eve glared, "is all that... going to be used." she looked tot he viles. Veria giggled, "I sure hope not." She finished her last glove with a streach and snap, "the large one is the real injection. The others are all different eliments to help make it do the right thing while it works from the inside out. If a unwanted effect occurs, which will happen, I have to be quick to stabilize it." Eve shied, "just... get it over with." Veria nodded and picked up the large vile with a needle about as big as a harpoon, "okay~"

Evelin always had her suspicions about Xenia, but now she felt she could finally catch her out. It wasn't so much of a competition of teenage girls more like they often fought over 'possession' of Theodore. Even if it went on behind Theodore's back most of the time. As if Evelin would ever want Theodore to know about how they fought over him all the time. Evelin's eyes thinned to Theodore and she rushed back up the stairs and into Theodore's room where she hoped to find Xenia doing something she shouldn't. But when she rushed in she pulled a face. Xenia stood in the corner of the room facing the wall with a phone to her ear, but her face streaked with tears and she seemed to sob endlessly. As soon at Evelin came in Xenia quickly looked over to her with water soaked eyes. "Xenia?" Evelin cautiously approached, no malice in her now, seeing people cry always triggered her soft side. Xenia retreated back into her corner and continued to sob, dropping the phone on the floor with the other person speaking urgently in Russian. Evelin carefully put an arm around her. "Xenia? What's wrong? What's the matter?" Xenia stifled to speak between sobs. "My father's been murdered." Hana looked back to Dante. "What was this about the twins?" Dante nodded and stood again, walking around his desk. "You've taught them both well, they're both strong, balanced and... surprisingly well mannered kids." Hana rose an eyebrow. "What do you mean by 'surprisingly'?" Dante chuckled. "Well you can't blame me for thinking they would probably turn out to be like you by how much they stay around you." Hana scowled. "Lets get one thing straight mr-force-of-the-world." She walked closer to him and poked his chest with her finger. "This is my lifestyle, a lifestyle I wouldn't wish on anybody I cared about. You and your little team of assholes like to theorise about why we all act the way we do, but people aren't that simple. A king should realise that." She walked past him and Dante sighed in relief, thinking that she was about to hit him. "Yes well.. I digress. This isn't what I meant." Hana looked back to him, switching the child to her other hip. "What, then?" Dante glanced to her with a gleam of his bright blue eyes. "You've felt it too, haven't you? That feeling." Hana looked away, her own blue eyes dulling. "Like a premonition, yes. It's hard to ignore." Dante nodded. "You're the closest adult to them. If anything were to happen.." He sighed. "It's not that I don't trust the capabilities of their friends and family their own age. They just.." "Don't have the history." Hana fiddled with her hair to seem distracted. "Or the knowledge."

Theador was next to come knock on the Xenias door, "coming in..." he called in warning before slowly going to open the door. He however instantly ran in when he saw Xenia crying and ran right to her, right past Evelin as if she wasn't there. He took Xenia's hand, noted the cell phone and looked at her seriously, "Xenia what is it whats wrong?!" There was a sense of both seriousness and protectivness in his words. He could tell being the phone was on the floor, it may of had to do with someone back home. He wasn't sure how alarming it was though, or how urgent it was.
Meanwhile Asuna clapped again, cockin gher head to the side and starting to pick at Hana's ear, trying to stick her finger in it as if a toy or something. She had no idea what was going on, or what her da and this... other layd was talking about, nor exacly what the words they were saying ment. But she gave a final outburst screeching laugh to sum up the conversation when Hana answered, 'or the knowledge.'

Evelin was stunned, she took a couple of steps back. "Murdered?" She echoed Evelin and looked to her brother with wide eyes. "Her dad's been murdered." Evelin racked over it in her brain. Murder was so much different to just plain dying. Murder meant someone didn't like how the Russian leader was ruling his lands. Murder meant someone didn't like the recently allyship between the last of the human resistance and the Yokai. Murder meant.. "Who did it?" Evelin looked back to Xenia who had now shrivelled into Theodore's arms. "Do you know who killed him?" She thought for a moment that she was being a little insensitive but it was urgent. Xenia rubbed her face of tears. "They don't.. they don't know yet... its still... in investigation..." Evelin looked away in thought. If it was a human revolting against their leader this could mean bad news. It would mean that the new leader that stepped in next would reform their conduct against the Yokai. In an even worse case, he was murdered by a Yokai, which would start the war all over again. Years of Kyle's work down the drain. "I should have been there." Xenia cried. Hana smiled and poked the childs side to make her giggle however Dante still looked to her seriously. "Just watch out, okay?" Hana looked to her brother with doubt. "Oh please. I'm Hana ******** Yokai." She flicked her hair behind her. "You're acting like such a mother of the people in this house." Dante sighed and rubbed his forehead. "You're all my responsibility. Legally." Hana grinned. "Most of the people in this house can look after themselves." Dante rolled his eyes. "That's why I said legally."

Theador was quick to hold Xenia, "... I know it doesn't sound like the perfict thing to say right now. But it's a good thing you weren't there. He would have wanted you safe, as would I." He hugged her and held her out by her shoulders, "this means it's time to get to the bottem of it while we have time left. Obviously your the first to know here, soon Donte will find out and it'll become a country helping country thing. Then we will be unable to even breath without them all down on us." He looked to Evelin, "we need to split now. Figure it out ourselves, and do the Justus that needs to be." He looked back to Xenia, "but we'll have to be carful, and cautious. Whoever would do something like that to your father, would also do so to you most likely. Evelin and I will protect you, and help you figure out who did this." He was quick to get right on board with a plan of action, asureing Xeina it was time to seek alittle vengeance themselves before it became something too huge for them too be forced to sit back and watch. He let go of Xenia, "grab your gear. Pack lightly, but be armed just in case. I'll be right back..." he patted Evelns shoulder, "you can teleport us right?" There was something else he needed to do before they hurried off to the matter at hand.

Evelin nodded and scratched the back of her neck. "Yeah but calm down. We need to be careful with what we do." Xenia frowned as she looked to Evelin. "All you're worried about is what effect this will have on your people." Evelin scowled. "Hey I'm trying to help you. But we have to think about the bigger picture too." Xenia sized up to Evelin now. "Your dad didn't just get murdered!" Evelin shook her head and folded her arms across her chest stubbornly. "No and I'm trying to be sympathetic right now but you're making it really difficult." It seemed that one of their arguments that usually went on behind closed doors was now happening right there in front of Theodore, and it strained Evelin that this was happening. "Am I supposed to be calm and collected right now? I'm glad that you're feeling fine because things couldn't be more s**t right now."

*Theador went to his room, got his coat and came out walking to the door infront of kyles room. There where Ameillea was standing guard. "Ameillea I have to ask a favor." She looked to Theador, "sure whats up?" Theador glared, "we're about to go do something important to me and Xenia. I need you to keep kyle here, and in the dark till we get back. He might be pissed at us but..." Ameillea shook her head, "that's not a good idea Theador. Expechally now. I can..." theador looked to her in a scary way she pulsed with a sweatdrop, "don't look at me like that. Both Kyle and I care for you and Evelin, you cant keep rushing into danger. Expechally right now while kyles having trust issues, and the thing with his body and everything else." Theador shrugged, "just do it. If you really are our support Ameillea" he turned his back on her and started walking back to the room the girls were in, "then your know when it's really important to us, that there is no question in the matter." Theador walked into the room and tossed Evelin her coat. "Suit up, time to moter, it's already getting tense out there." He took Xenia's hand and then went to Evelin, "you sure you can teleport us there without trouble? It's a long distance..."
As soon as the twins were gone, Ameillea turned to go into the room and tell kyle what was gong on. But she had to stop and hesitate. This would trigger worry in him. But at the same time, lieing to him, keeping him in the dark was far worse. Damn it, a tough desition to make. She opened the door, "excuse me... nate can I have a moment... please..."

Evelin begrudgingly put her coat on and looked away witholding a glare. "I've been training." She didn't even need to touch the other two as they teleported out of the castle, only going to show how much Evelin had trained it with Hana. Hana herself couldn't teleport, but she enjoyed to learn how teleportation could aid her battle. Evelin wasn't an offensive person, more like a backup to Theodore and occasional tinker. Evelin had the knowledge. The three appeared at the heavily armed front gates of a massive castle in the snowy mountains in Russia. Three fully armed men approached the three with caution. "Государство ваше дело , это личное земля." Xenia stepped forward and the guards eyes widened. "Мне жаль, принцесса, мы не были .." "I know you weren't expecting me. But I'm here now. Let us in." The guard seemed unsure. "Are.. you sure my lady? These are.. foreigners.. you know the delicate situation.." Xenia frowned. "Just let us past." The guards shrugged to each other and let them inside, where they were guided by another guard through the halls of the great palace. Xenia lead the twins with determination, now fueled with anger. As Evelin followed, she observed. "This place is packed with armed men." She looked around herself to see them filing in and out of the rooms. They were lead to the top floor where a mass of guards and political advisors stood outside a room and were slowly being filed out and down the other end of the hall to leave. One guard came up to them. "You aren't permitted here my lady.. this isn't for your eyes." Xenia shook her head and shoved past them all and into the room where her father laid cold on the floor next to his desk. Police tape surrounded the area and now there were only a few people in there. Guards, keeping people from staring. As soon as Xenia saw she felt tears wet her cheeks again, however she took a breath and looked to one of the guards. "Is there.. any developments on the investigation?" The guard slowly shook his head. "All we know is that he was killed some time during the night. It shouldn't have been humanly possible, he was working with the door sealed. This room doesn't have any windows. The only real explanation is-" "Yokai." Another guard chimed. Nate looked to Amelia quickly before looking back to Kyle. "I'll finish the story in a second." Nate carefully got to his feet and walked over to Amelia. "What's up?"

Theador was silent for the first part of the new mission, but he didn't like the fact they were this... out front and shown. However when Theador heard the guy say the Y word Theador glared, "figures. One bad apple always ruins the bunch. I wouldn't bet it's got something to do with the same person that tried to turn everyone eginst eachother at the ball two years ago." He squtted down next to the body. He really didn't want to, but he had to be the tough one now... for Xenia. But of course Evelin would know at this point we has mainly acting what he had too. "He was alone in this room. Sealed in. There's no windows." He stood and looked for an air ducked, "but ever room as circulation of air. And once inside a air system it could be easy for any trained assassin to move to a place like this with ease, Yokai or Human." He pointed to the desk, "he was sitting here doing something... and I don't see any large struggle marks. This was done quickly I assume." He stood up and looked to Evelin, "Easy for a Demon, or teleporter." He shied and crossed his arms thinking outloud, "sadly it's been too long, we cant trace if there was a teleport..." He looked to Xenia, "anything seem out of place to you?" Playing detective was a great game him and his sister used to do all the time, for once, it was coming in handy.
Meanwhile Ameillea snatched nate out of the room, and pulled him down the hallway where kyle couldn't over hear. "I... I need some help deciding something. The twins are getting involved in something, theador asked me personally to make sure kyle doesn't find out or leave that room. I would like to be up front with kyle, but he will then be assessed with pushing himself to go after them because of the potential danger they could be getting into. But I do want kyle to understand that I wouldn't keep something from him like this too. So damned if I do, damned if I don't. Opinion?"

Evelin walked more into the room and knelt down to Xenia's father on the floor and delicately sniffed the air. Beside the smell of blood, Evelin picked up another scent nearby. "Sulphur." She pulled a face. "That's strange." She pulled a face and stood up. "Why sulphur." She walked to the other side of the room with her hand to her chin in thought, scanning her brain of all the things she'd learned over the years. There had to be something useful. Then it suddenly occurred to her. "I read somewhere that some of the demons of old liked to kill their prey and make them come back to life using a mix of molten sulphur and their abilities so that they could eat them again. If that applies to this situation, then someones meal got interrupted and they hadn't intended to actually leave a body." Xenia frowned to her. "What relevance does that have." Evelin continued to think. "Evelyn told me that the demon that disrupted the ball two years ago was an old powerful demon. More than likely, this was her. And she's trying to disrupt the peace again. She's been trying to make s**t complicated for us for ages. From what I heard she was Evelyn's master. We dealt a blow to her at the ball and she's weak but still.. she was able to retaliate against Kyle... and now this." Evelin shook her head. "Being a demon of old must make her pretty powerful. But my question is why wasn't she more careful about this. I mean we're just teens, and we were able to find this much." Nate frowned. "That's a tough one." He looked back down the corridor with a sigh. "I mean in the state that he's in he won't really be able to get anywhere with any urgency. But that won't really stop him from trying. It would be wrong not to tell him, and he would resent himself more than he already does. I mean we could get Kiiro up here to calm him down once we tell him. But then we'll need to keep him here."

Ameillea shied, "I got a plan... but it's not really going to solve anything. We have kirro to keep kyle calm like you said. You and kirro stay here after we tell him, and keep him here. I'll go and try to... take care of the situation in kyles stead for a change. I mean I know he wont like it, but it's either me or him. And he cant right now, so he'll need an alli he can count on, that knows the same level and feeling that he has for the twins aswell. Think... that will be the best rout?" It was a really tough decition in the first place, it sucked that even Nate wasn't sure.
Theador shied, "because it's a message most likely. See if she keeps evidence, people like..." he pointed to the guards, "would easily just think it's a Yokai. Boom, war starts all over again. Thus the demon lady gets what she wanted. In another sense however, this could be a mistake as you said. She didn't plan on leaving the body, she probably planned to use it as a back up plan, but because of being weakened because of Ruji, she failed to finish the job before someone realized she was here. So she had to quick split, the body was slowing her down." He looked to the gaurds, "I recommend you keep the body under close watch. Demons like to play with their prey, even after death, and most of the time, it means torcher even when they are dead." He looked to Xeina, "as far as our investigation goes, I would hope this doesn't go public quick. Or to other countrys just yet. If done gets involved, or any others, I think the demon lady would be planning a job well done. She would culse panic." He looked to the gaurds, "we are sorry for barrging in. We weren't exacly sent here by athoritys... but I personally know Xeina better then most in the two years I spent with her." Or so he thought, "and my sister and I will protect her. If she stays on the move, the enemy wont get to her. If she stays here with protection from gaurds, it will be too tempting to the demon, if it is her. They love a challenge." He explained. He hoped the captain of the guard would understand all he said. Finally he looked to Evelin, "although having Ruji and Evelyn on our side during this would be helpful, I don't think brining them in on this one right off the bat is a good idea. So until we know more, lets figure out the rest on our own. The smaller the party, the easyer it will be to find this women. But I do think... we have a spechal friend of YOURS that can help us greatly. Might have to blow off the dust though." He took Xeina's hand, "come on... we've been here too long already."

Evelin nodded. "Lets get out of here then." Xenia took one last look at her motionless father before turning on her heel and walking out with Theodore. Evelin had a few words with the guards before they all left the castle, and Evelin teleported them back into Yokai country, in the town near the castle. "I agree we shouldn't bring Evelyn into this, she's dealt with enough. But I'm not sure I'm any happier with who you were insinuating back there." She frowned and Xenia pulled a face. "Who?" Evelin looked to the side. "Paradioa." The twins had a weird sixth sense that let each of them know what the other was thinking. Like normal twins, but still it was a little strange that Evelin knew right off the bat without any explanation. Xenia pulled another face. "Who's Paradioa?" Evelin folded her arms across her chest. "A powerful demon that devoted himself to me when I was very young. He used to be my mothers before she became an archangel. He's different than other demons though." Nate nodded. "I think that's the best plan we could think of in a situation like this." He sighed. "I'll go and get Kiiro." He quickly returned with Kiiro at his side, already debriefed on the plan. "Here we go." The three entered again and Nate went to go sit back where he was sitting right next to Kyle on the bed. Kyle glared at Nate. "Something's wrong." Nate grinned. "Nothing's wrong." Nate hated how transparent he was to Kyle, he could never hide anything from him ever. Kiiro came up beside Kyle and Kyle's eyes thinned further. "Crowding me in isn't going to make me feel any better." Nate sighed. "Just hear me out okay. The twins have gone to sort some s**t with Theodore's girl. Something's happened to her father." Kyle's eyes widened. "That's the leader of Russia. The twins-" He quickly stood up but was carefully sat down again by Kiiro with a hand on his shoulder. "Shhh. This is something they need to do themselves. They'll be back as soon as they can be, and they'll be fine. Because Amelia has volunteered to help them and make sure they're safe for you." Kyle grunted, he didn't seem convinced. "This includes... the leader of Russia... I'll need to.. speak to the other leaders.. the humans.. will want answers... I'm the representative." Nate sighed. "Look at yourself buddy. Are you really in a good state to be dishing out speeches to humans?" Kyle looked away stubbornly. He was acting like a child now. Never before would he be this immature. But the mask was gone. The persona had disappeared as soon as his 'leash' got put on him.

Ameillea shied, "look theador came and told me to keep you here. They understand you care about them, as do I, but they feel you need to sit this one out. Instead of keeping it from you though, we're being outright. You are in no possistion to get involved right now, and if you do it may give more harm then done, because your the represenitive. As far as I understand by the urgency in theador's words, the leaders don't know yet. Theador is trying to be ahead of the game. At the same time, you need to understand you and I are the same when it comes to them. And just this once kyle, i'll ask you put faith that I can assit them for you. I'll even report whats going on if you want. That's the truth of it all, up front." she shied and closed her eyes, "also the twins just teleported back into the city." She looked to Nate, and kirro then back to kyle.
Menawhile Theador nodded, "Paradioa is... tense... like he's... how do I put it." He thought about it, "odd. It's like he's a good guy, but bad at the same time, but at the same time he is 100% on Evelins side, all the time. Though we agree using him is a bad idea." He explained. He looked to Evelin, "but in situations like this when we're up against something... of the same quality, it wouldn't hurt to play it safe sis." He shrugged, "besides even if we don't fully use him, we may need some item or something at the last moment, and we store most of them in his coffen since they are usless there. And your the only one he will give them too." He secrately didn't like using the closet Hana gave them... just in case. He knew how sometimes a motive would make a family member do something when they have the chance too. He argued it over with Evelin all the time. Theador blinked however, "Speaking of Paradioa though... where does he go when he's not with you. I haven't seen in years."

There was a few moments of silence as Nate nodded to Amelia however Kyle suddenly looked towards her with some intense malice and anger, and it seemed that if he weren't so weak he would have acted. Although it could have been argued that if he weren't in this state he would have more control over his emotions anyway. Bouncing between extreme emotion and lack of emotion wasn't nice. "You and I are not the same." Kyle said sternly, and plainly. "Don't for one ******** second think that we are the same when it comes to them." Kiiro put her hand on his forehead and Kyle was suddenly knocked out, lying back against the wall. Nate looked to Kiiro, confused. "Why'd you do that? He was doing okay." Kiiro pulled a face. "I didn't like the fluctuation of his feelings." She stood again. "People shouldn't turn a bright red. When I was younger that was indication for me to knock them out." She then started to walk out of the room. "It happened to Kiera a lot." As Kiiro was gone Nate pulled a face. "Blind people shouldn't be able to see any colour let alone seeing a colour that isn't there." He sighed and looked to Amelia. "I guess that was a success? I don't even know any more." Evelin shrugged. "Mom told me that not even she knew. Just that when she called his name he appeared." She frowned at her brother. "Still,I'm reluctant. And definitely not in a public place like this. Even mom didn't like using Paradioa for things."
