This older boy was picking on my, being a real d**k. Eventually I snapped and my demon side came out. He was in the hospital for two months. Scaryest day of my life. I know how you feel to live as a normal human and suddenly you're something else."

Lael sighes, troubled. "I hope everything's going all right up there," she says. All her instincts as a doctor are telling her not to leave Westley alone, or even with anyone who's not trained in medicin, but she knows better than to go up.

"Try living almost thirteen years and being attacked by a cougar while on a walk, during a vacation. It scared me immensely. Then, after I recovered, I realized that I wasn't myself anymore. I was part cougar after the attack. I couldn't get away from the cougar, though it scared me. I couldn't control it and my parents hated me for it," he says, scooting a bit away, "It just got worse after that, Sam dying because I was cornered and being tortured by the villagers..."

"Three years, thirteen years." Nathan says. "It scares you all the same. Your parents may have hated what you are, but my parents knew the whole time and not long after I was revealed the were killed right in front of me. I had no choice but to watch my own parents die. I find it hard to get close to true humans after that. We've both been tortured. You may be haunted by Sam, but I'm haunted by my parents, and the faces of the men who killed them. I want to tear there hearts out, every ******** one of them."
"So do I." Darian says. "I guess that's all we can do is hope. Nathan knows what he's doing. I think."

"Yes. I suppose he does. I suppose that I'm just so worried because it was pounded into my head again and again to never leave someone sick without proper medical care. I didn't even get a chance to see if he had a fevor, not to mention anything else."

Westley glances at the claws that extend from his hands. His other claws yearn to be released and he acknowledges that fact.
"I know she's not Sam because I haven't allowed myself to get close to anyone since her. ...She is attractive, I must admit, though I'm not in her league nor am her type..."
He sighs, standing up and changing into his full cougar form.
"Tell Lael that I'm fine. I need to rest and relax for a while, alone."
After saying such, he bounds up the stairs to his room, closing the door behind him to block out life for a few hours as he naps.

Nathan walks back down the stairs alone. "He said to tell you he's fine and that he just needs a little rest. That's probably the best thing for him, it'll give him time to clear his head." The half demon turns so that he's facing Lael, as he is know addressing her only. "He knows you can't be Sam, which is good. His life hasn't been much more pleasant than mine."
"It's good to here that he's doing better." Darian says. "How'd you do it."
"He just needed to talk to someone with experience in this sort of thing. You've fought in wars, have you never been haunted by anyone from your past."
"When I first met Margem I thought she was her sister back from the dead, does that count? If not I sometimes get a crippling pain in my left shoulder that brings back memories of the being who inflicted the wound."

Lael sighs. "Very well. It seems as if he's doing okay. We'll give him some time to get some rest." She rubs her temple. She can feel a headache coming on. "Who is this Sam anyway?"

Westley had fallen asleep as soon as he had gotten in his bed. Everything was spinning around in his head, so much so that he knew that he needed to rest.
((OOC: I was waiting for Mr.Ownage to post as Westley's asleep..... Oh well.))

Lily Parker walks out of the dining area of the resort. She had been sitting at a table and watching the goings on for awhile, although not paying much attention to the people themselves. When she sees Nathan the Fire/Water Elementalist's blue eyes brighten. "Nathan! What are you doing here you sonofagun?"
