Leaning over to get a glimpse at how Efflo was doing, he rapidly began speeding things up. Had he forgotten this was a competition? Clearly he was going to be able to win. He had to stop forgetting how important that was.

Furious, hard working stirring. In fact, he picked up his bowl and carried it over to Efflo, just to show him how hard he was working, until - He plucked the big, round ball of dough out, and slammed it down on the table. "Wow." This part would prove to be considerably less easy for Catinka than lulling a dragon with treats.
She gazed about her at the burly-armed monsters and lithe demons, and then down at her semi-transparent hand and with a sigh set to work.

This was also a task not particularly well-suited to Catinka's powerful lack of focus. She several times became distracted, slowing nearly to a halt as she gazed into the middle distance before remembering what she was supposed to be doing.

It became obvious, even to the somewhat-oblivious Tink, that this was as good as it was likely to get. Somewhat clumsily bundling up her ball of dough, she obediently went to drop it off.

The sweets hadn't been enough, and Helmut's stomach grumbled and growled the whole time Jubilee tried to explain th cookie dough. Auuugh this class was taking too long! She was hungry! The ghoul listened on, holding one arm against her stomach and idly gnawing on the side of one of her fingers as if it would trick herself into being less starving.
Eventually the talk was over and it was time to do, and the little Wendigo set to work, happy to have a distraction.

The ghoul had some experience in baking, at least as far as her mother would allow in terms of 'help', so mixing the ingredients was something fairly standard to her. She hummed along with her work, droopy eyes surprisingly focused on the task at hand.

Once the ingredients became something visibly closer to actual batter, she poked and prodded at it in the bowl, apparently now doing a touch test. It seemed to pass, at least by her standards (which was pretty low, considering she would eat it no matter how it turned out), and the dough was dumped out onto the flour on the table.

Helmut started to knead at the dough, though somewhat distracted as she was looking around at what everyone else was doing, peeking out from under her skull helmet. At one point she had to stop as she rolled up the sleeves on her much too large sweater, but was fairly quick to get back to work.

Knead, Knead, fold, knead, knead, fold. It became a comforting little routine. She wasn't sure when she had spaced out, but she did; and when she came back to reality it became apparent that her dough was pretty good as it was. So she wrapped it messily in too much plastic wrap and put it in the fridge, skittering back to her seat as fast as she could.

Feeling the viscosity of the mixture, AJ knew soon the dough would be ready, he was always stirring in one direction and from the firm muscles, you could tell he didn't feel tired at all. He seemed to enjoy baking so much, even with all these effort works.
