Hel was still a little sore (okay, really a lot) about that loss in Tug-O-War…especially to the Undeads. That’s why when the shadows revealed themselves well…Hel immediately went for an Undead one. It also may have had a lot to do with the fact that b***h Rita and Alex were also undead. Yeah, probably. What a great way to vent some frustration! The ghoul wasted no time in casting a spell, and unleashed a blast of magic at the mascot which took the form of a large raven as it swept through it… Hey. This was the first time she had used her FEAR without holding a weapon, and her familiar wasn’t anywhere nearby… That was cool. After that attack, Hel just lunged at the thing and threw back a fist before punching it. Okay, yeah...this made her feel a bit better. Just a bit. Now would have been an appropriate time for some sage-like quote about to not let hate and revenge consume one's self for it clouds the judgement or something like that. Hel didn't care as she was now wrestling with the thing, trying to stop it from wrapping around her. She didn't land a punch in, sadly enough. The reaper managed to untangle herself from the stupid thing, and brought both of her fists above her head. She clasped her hands together, and then brought them down with force to crush the mascot underneath them. It was all too satisfying as it dissipated...and Hel felt a teeny bit better. Sheelah was standing ready for the next round for the cup not sure what was going to happen. She was surprised to see all the shadows change into the different dorm mascots and started to attack. She wasn't sure what to do. She only had to deal with shadow creatures ones before and that was something she wanted to forget. She did learn to battle them but without much succes. She was surprise attacked by a shadow reaper mascot. She tried to use her fear attack at it but was so confused it missed. Was she going to lose to this thing? The enemy was attacking her over and over again and Sheelah couldn't really do anything back. Maybe she should have practiced more before she got into this mascot fight. Sheelah dashed forward to strike the mascot again. She used her claws to hit her target. A good hit this time. Nice! Sheelah was getting tired now at was feeling quite hurt too. This wasn't good. Sheelah didn't really feel that good anymore. She did hit the mascot again but it also kept hitting her. This didn't seem to go very well. She was sure to get lots and lots of practice next time. She was so tired now she could hardly hit her enemy anymore while it continued hitting her. She was going to lose this fight. A good leason for her maybe? She did use to live too sheltered. Sheelah missed again but the mascot didn't. She got hit by the nasty shadow creature and everything turned black for her this time. She woke up again in the nurses office. Serafina was not exactly known for her battling ability. In fact, she knew she was behind on the pace of her graduation requirements--sure she was year two, but she had avoided actively participating in a single solitary spar.
Still, she had to do this for her fellow ghosts.
After analyzing the available mascots to battle, she decided she would test her mettle against the undead mascot. Cracking her knuckles, she set to work.
She wanted this done as quickly as possible, so immediately, she went in with her highest strength fear. Serafina flew forward, her fingers lengthening into the sharp, claw-like appendages she knew they could be. Without wasting time, she landed her hits, swiping time after time to bring down the undead mascot.
It didn't bring it down, but it certainly took quite a bit of damage. Serafina felt accomplished, but it wasn't time to sit on her laurels.Quote: Points: 47/50 HP: 37/40 Using: Y2 Swift Strikes Damage: 7.5, rounded up is 8 Mascot: Undead Mascot HP: 12/20

Now that she used up her fear, she probably had to attack the normal way. Serafina wasn't certain how effective her The Mist technique would be against this thing.
She bit down on her lip.
