I feel like we need a "RP" that is more like a really casual lounge for everyone to be OOC in or just use their OP's. No real plotline or anything, just somewhere we can be silly and get to know each other. Places like that are where I spent ALL my time back in the day on Gaia and I've been nostalgic today. whee
Considering I've had bad luck with starting RPs that die before being born due to member inactivity:

Would it be considered a mildly good idea to bring a roleplay I've started to SDRP In hopes that it'll actually become an active roleplay?
I've been having an issue with "Can I reserve an -insert gender here- character?!" and then no one making a character for that reservation. And then the lack of characters prevents me from actually launching the roleplay. (I have an awkward rule of "Five characters minimum," which, considering I normally play two or more characters....)
On top of this, however, the site I was using before I hopped back onto Gaia also decided to change their coding and modifying rules and regulations, making half of my layouts broken, thus rendering half of my work useless
TL;DR I have a broken roleplay that I want to actually work. Bring here, or no? What do?

The type of Roleplay I mentioned below your post is actually close to what you're talking about. If I end up posting it here (given the circumstances), It would be great for what you're describing, but there would be no super powers, super natural anything, or "x many years in the future" technology. It would be modern slice-of-life casual.

I might cut the size of the roleplay from "Large group" style, to a more "Small group," layout. The style I have it in, even as broken as it is, is massive, there's.... numerous places to be. Tens of places really, and if there's only a handful of people; that vast space of the "map" would be too much for casual use, no?

Hiya! i'm "back" and hoping for some nice Rp... how about a Rp walk -in -like, whith short made replies,not so hard made writing(with nice grammar ,ofc) and simple characters...what do you think?,(it's for learn how to interact and so, since im kinda new in this, but im so excited to get in Rping action!)

We (the SDRP Crew) try to hold walk-in RPs every so often to let people RP in a more chill environment. They're fun but also require quite some dedication to run.sweatdropBut we're definitely thinking on getting them started again when we can. Our last one was during the guild's Valentines Day event.
