Sitting still seemed to have been the trick. One of the fragments drifted by him, just close enough so Lilby could pluck it from the air.

Lilby missed again but after having caught the first one, was curious what the others might say to him.
He watched another blue-hearted body nearby. They had more than him.
He pointedly stared.

It felt like she was being watched, she could feel that much. It made her a little self conscious as she found herself another pulsing fragment. Palem would have looked around if it wasn't for the sudden rush of memory that filled her mind for the briefest of moments.
"Its hexed!" She heard a scream, completely caught off guard at the sudden volume. Not to mention, it sounded... like her voice. Odd.

"Ha!" Lilby managed to almost pounce on one. HIS SECOND. He was pretty proud and held it up a bit as if to show off.

Richsoft looked out over the watery... palace? That wasn't the right word for it. What was this place? He couldn't shake the feeling he was missing something... someone? A thing? It was important and hung in his mind like a heavy weight as he limped his way forward. Shining lights flickered nearby...
With one massive hand he managed to snatch one, and immediately his head was filled with a voice-

His brows furrowed as he put the fragment into his pocket, but couldn't for the life of him comprehend what that meant.

He managed to catch another, and a sharp, stern voice filled his head,
NO HITTING
He flinched and nearly dropped it. The voice... so familiar and unfamiliar and... maybe he should try to find more of these things.

Hale stilled as she appeared in a new place. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, she just felt in awe. The gray whisps that resembled hair turned this way and that as she took in her surroundings. How curious…but she needed to keep moving, so she did.
She didn't so much as find one, as she ran into one. The figure startled, only briefly, as she felt a warmth touch her.
I am going to be an ever better...than I once was...

Richsoft gave a strangled whine as another shard landed in his hands. His soft brain boomed with a stern voice,
Igors are seen but not heard-
He could feel emotion welling up inside of him, but he didn't understand why. He glanced to the others around him, all doing the same thing, a tight, nervous noise in his throat. Where they as confused as him?

Maybe Alice needed to find some company. And there seemed to be more and more people coming around. Maybe she would be able to talk to them if she wasn't being such a shy person.
But one thing was for certain. Those fragments seemed to be really attracted.
