Eric blinked, rather confused as to what she meant by that. "You lost me Roxanne." He replied to the warlock. His thoughts were all foggy after reading much of how the night went for the blood knight and the paladin. "What are you getting at?"

Roxanne smiled. "They set up the bed in the middle of the summoning circle, sure the circle had been inactive for a while but it could still retain some of its magical energy. Energy that could accidently have been tapped by one or both of them during their... exchange." Roxanne explained. "What I'm saying is Lilith is totally going to get pregnant this time around."

"How does that even work. I'm not going to talk to you as if I know this stuff, but I'd assume that it would require another chant of some sort?" He shook his head. Anything dealing with magic turned to be rather confusing for Eric.
"Actually, never mind, we'll know once the book eventually explains things." He gave her belly a couple of little taps and resumed reading with her. "I'm almost tempted to just run off with you myself and find the answer to you pregnancy problem on our own, but there's strength in numbers. Even if we can't be open about this, we can still have moments like these to ourselves."

"Yes and no, you can do magic without verbal components." Roxanne started to explain although she stopped as soon as Eric lost interest.
Roxanne laughed as Eric confessed this plan. "As much as I like that plan, I don't think we'd get too far with me in such a condition as this." She added, jiggling her large belly.

"It's worth a shot." He shrugged to the pregnant warlock. The creatures within her kicked outward, as if they understood the conversation themselves. "I don't think they want you to be in the condition you are in either. But uh, onto another topic. Roxanne why are we still hiding how we feel? Look at the others, they are pretty open about it. Granted we aren't going as far as Cress and Sheena. And I thought I was weird, but she needs love too I suppose."

"Being a demon summoner, I've made some deals in my lifetime that I'm not proud of. Deals that, in the wrong hands, could easily be twisted around and come back to haunt me." Roxanne explained with a sigh, her crimson eyes glancing up at the stars overhead. "Plus so many people see warlocks as heartless cold-blooded cultists its hard for them to see us anything else. I don't want to see you injured because of that."Her confession made, Roxanne snuggled her head against Eric's shoulder.

"You mean like I had?" Eric patted Roxanne softly on the head. He made not a single move save to cup her cheek in a hand. "Don't worry about what others may do to me. If others knew the real you as well I'm learning, they may think otherwise about you. I'm surprised you cared about my well being. If it's not meant to be, I'm sure you'll find someone who's into the dark arts much like yourself. As for myself, I'll keep searching for someone, Mina and Firin are still available after all. And that new girl, Bela. Unlike the rest of you, she's not pregnant with...something or another."

(We're going to have to introduce Eclipse into UDT so we can use him here, cuz being a demon it would have outlived both L&L and taken Eric back to be raised by Scarlett. Maybe Eclipse continued to shadow Eric while he grew up and he just never noticed it.) Roxanne held the knight close and wrapped her arms around him. "No." She stated flatly. "You are mine. Sometimes the best matches are those opposite of each other. Besides, we look weird enough being a group of hugely pregnant women with only two men among us."(Wasn't Bela your villain?) "Don't make me throw an idol at her..."

(((Yes she is, this is all assuming that she does join them. if not, it can be edited. As for Eclipse, I assumed we would somewhere once this story is over. Perhaps he also brought back Lilith's Journal, which Scarlett later sold?))) "No need to subject her to that sort of torture to her body..."Eric was surprised by the way Roxanne was acting. It wasn't like her at all, yet it was. He grinned at her possessiveness and held her all the same. "Normally, I'd be afraid of you saying I am specifically yours and no one else. But I get it, we can continue giving this a shot, seeing where it goes."

(Alright, just making sure I had my names straight. And oooo, I like that idea. A demon-dog could approach the party bearing said journal and rather than beelining for Roxanne it goes to Eric instead.) "She's the only one of us females who isn't bloated beyond reason, it only seems fair..." Roxanne mutters, the evil warlock side of her briefly breaking to the surface of her thoughts before being submerged again. Roxanne stifled a squeal of pleasure as Eric agreed to carry on with their hidden relationship. Sure the creatures she carried weren't his, but the birth and what happened afterwards would be sure to test the metal of their relationship.

"She may be more useful non-bloated. Even if you think it's only fair, you have to see the logic in that." Eric replied to Roxanne. Seeing how happy she was with his answer about their secret love, he cupped her face gently in his hands and kissed her lips. "You're free to show your tender side while we're together like this. We don't have much time together, so we should make it count. And speaking of tender..."Eric returned to attending to her bare pregnant belly. "Let me take care of this for you for awhile. Shall we continue with this story? You did say that the Paladin may be in Scarlett's predicament now."

Roxanne pouted slightly as Eric defended this random woman. The devil on her shoulder told her she should screw Eric's logic and hide an idol under her pillow but she resisted the urge to waddle over and do so... especially once Eric returned his attention to her huge belly and began to rub it.
"Belly rub in return for some reading, I can do that..." Roxanne replied, taking the book from Eric's lap and finding where they left off.

And thus the story continued...
It was about two and a half months later since Lilith and Lloyd first came to Scarlett's much needed aid. Turns out there was more to be done then they originally thought. There were thugs and bandits that were dealt with while they were on "offsite duty" for the order. Least they couldn't be called liars now.
The spent nights like they had before rarely, Lilith wouldn't give Lloyd the satisfaction of having her every night. It made her all the more desirable. He woke up, but Lilith was not there beside him.
"Lilith? Where'd she go?" He thought outwardly. The blood knight began his search for her.

Like a well oiled machine, Lilith had risen early for her morning prayers and gone right into her combat exercises, completely unhindered by the slight bulge in her belly. However, such growth was not entirely restricted to her belly. Where she once enjoyed the freedom of a loose shirt, she now exercised in a stiff but flexible leather harness (think basically medieval sports bra) that left her belly exposed to chilly morning air. "49... 50..." Lilith muttered under her breath as she completed a set of toe-touches.

Like a barely functioning one, it took a flying book to the face from Scarlett to wake Lloyd up. He could really do without out that every day. She answered that back with either "I could really do without having to everyday" or throw the book at him, literally so.
Lloyd was clueless as to what changes Lilith was going through. He assumed it was Scarlett's cooking at work. There was a change he did like about it though, to Lilith's dismay. He was able to find said person outside doing her daily routine.
"Disciplined beyond belief..." He said with a shake of his head.
