Was.. was it over? It was over and they'd actually managed to get out alright, burns, bruises, bumps and scrapes all aside. Sophie meandered through the students and made her way to Alex, pleased to find he was at least standing. He had a few bumps and bruises and she pulled out one of her bandages and wrapped it around his arm, the FEAR she had placed inside fixing his wounds and, hopefully making him feel a little better.
She gave a smile. "Wasn't so bad. We didn't dissipate this time."

After her last snowball had been thrown, the witch had moved to do any number of things but had instead slipped and fallen in the snow. It wasn't a dreadfully long fall, but once she was down it was vastly more difficult to get back up. Especially when she was helplessly weak in the substance, but once she did manage standing it was just in time to watch the happy dragon dissipate. Which... Was the opposite of what was supposed to happen. Wasn't it? In any event she took a step forward and slipped again, crashing down into the snow once more. This seemed like a good time to wallow, so the witch felt it necessary to just lie back in the cold and stare at the sky above them. Uncaring of how long she had laid there, Belladonna only stopped glaring at the sky when Mort approached her and mumbled his reasoning for ignoring her orders. And giving the orders she should have given. With a sigh the witch sat up to look up at him, eyebrows momentarily furrowed. "Oh... You should have told me that." Was her mumbled reply, totally devoid of any anger. She took his extended hand and used it to help her wobbly legs stand properly, as well as stay steady.
As for Red, she looked to be taking care of herself, or at least content to ignore the students' offered help, but... The professor had taken a pretty hefty hit during the fight... "If she lets us..." Belladonna finally replied before she tapped his arm with the tips of her knuckles. "How about you? No injuries that need to be taken care of?" Because even if she wanted to stay mad at him, it had already been proven the task was impossible for the witch.

Just lying in the snow, huh? Mort swallowed at how lackluster her response was and shook his head, keeping hold of her hand. "M'good," he told her. "Sorry . . . Wasn't thinking. Was hard to think. J-Just heard orders in head n' scrambled to alert so whispers wouldn't stay so loud . . ." He tugged her a little closer and brushed remnants of snow off her person.
But everything was gong to be okay now, right? Jericho had been transfigured into an elf by the looks of it, but that was a lot better than Insanity, no? the zomboil gently tugged Belladonna along to go see how the rest of their friends were doing. "Still alive?" he called to Sophie and Alex as they approached, half as a joke, half as a legitimate question.

Red watched as the students split off into two, one group moving to the area she indicated while the rest remained with her. She repressed the urge to roll her eyes. While she would concur with the point that she was still a liable risk simply due to the sheer amount of Insanity that plagued her core, the other part of her brought up the fact that she was not a cub. She could take care of herself. After all, that was what she had to do for the past year.
The teacher suddenly slammed her hands against the ground, sending up flurries of snow as the students pulled on the grappling hooks. The hooks tore large holes in her wings; ripped chunks of black flesh from her that crumbled into mist as soon as they were separated. What remained in her hide were small craters with what looked to be burning embers at the bottom, all of them smoking gently without smell or heat.
When Red finally looked up, it seems as though the groups had finally come together. The mist that made up her form seemed to shatter, dissipating into nothing more than a dark cloud before shrinking in and on itself to rebuilt the professor in her humanoid form crouched down on one knee. She didn't look up or say anything as she studied her hands. Red examined how different her hands looked than she remembered, flexing them once before using them to tug her hood further over her head. The teacher adjusted another part of her hood, bringing the bottom of her hood up to cover her mouth and nose. If anyone looked at her, all they would be able to see were two glowing red eyes.
The werewolf raised a hand and snapped her black fingers together. At the sound the grappling hooks dissipated, the dark mist hovering before zooming over and being absorbed by Red's shadow. Her hand moved into her cloak as she pulled out the orb, shaking it.
There was no vocal warning, no suggestion to prepare themselves as the magic in the artifact teleported the students back into Amityville. As soon as they were back in the gym, Red turned and moved toward the exit. The teacher raised one hand and waved behind her as if to say, you're done. Get out of here. Shoo.
The OOC
TL;DR: All students are now back in Amityville.
If you kept any Christmas tool (bell, rope, slingshot, ammo, etc):
An hour later, all that remains is a puddle of stick peppermint goo that not even the gnomes will try to clean up. Hope you didn't leave it on your homework!
No traces of Insanity have appeared on students. In fact,
No one caught Insanity. Yay!
Red is available for follow-up~ You can either stop her here for questions, or request a follow-up RP. <3

Riley carried the elf back to Red and the rest of the group, glad to see her worries had been unfounded. They were fine, but she did not regret asking some to stay in the least. It was always better to be safe than sorry. And as far as she could see, Red was getting back to normal - if there was such a thing as normal in their world, anymore. All that mattered was that, in the end, they'd been successful.
Sort of.
Her eyes had a million questions ready to bubble forth for the professor. Her steps were quickening, as if her time was about to run out any moment -
And then they were back in Amityville, abandoned and left to deal with their little problem on their own. Her time had run out, and Red had given all she was going to give - there was no use asking for more. Riley couldn't help but say it, just once, very privately to the retreating figure.
Thanks.
Turning to her comrades, she more publically extended the gratitude. Jericho owes you all a great deal of gratitude. Thank you for being so strong. Her eyes lingered one particular person she was not thankful for, narrowing just slightly as she glared at Marosa. That would have to wait until another time, though, because she was about to do something that not even Malodore would have expected.
With Jericho still tightly held in her arms, Riley turned and walked away without another word.

"Huh? what? I DON'T OWE NOBODY NOTHING!" Jericho shouted as he began to squirm. Maybe this was a bad idea.
In any case, he was stuck here, as he was being carried off.
Marosa was tired. So very tired. He dropped the grappling hook on the gym floor, and without looking at anyone, just left the room. There was nothing left for him here.
He only slightly noticed the glare given to him from the mindflayer, and he felt a pang of worry slide over him. He'd have a bit of trouble with that one later, though he didn't understand why.
Wings sagging, he gave a last glance at the group that wasn't his, feeling only slightly left out before he slid away from the doorway completely.
This was his place. This was how a Gancanagh was supposed to be.
Perhaps his father was right. There was a lot to think about.
Walking on, the fey headed for his room.

Malodore had not been expecting the sudden transport, and it blinked as snow started melting off of it, creating puddles on the floor around it. "Professor-" it began, then silenced itself as it saw her retreating, gesturing for them to leave. That must have taken a great deal out of her.
It would have to thank her properly later.
It realized that, in watching Red, it had nearly missed another exit. Riley was hurrying out, Jericho in her grip still - Jericho. It shook its head, still not entirely believing what had happened. Still, though, it was surely a better fate than what had befallen Riley. At least Jericho seemed happy, and there seemed to be tiny flickers of memory, even so.
It had something to do first, though - it turned to its fellow medics and bowed. "Molto grazie - we did well, all of us." It opened its beak in a smile. "To you all, I would offer a favor in gratitude... for now, I must follow mia cara, but I live in the undead dormitory, on the second floor. Seek me out, per favore."
The plague doctor turned then, offering nods of thanks to the others, too, as it moved out of the room - slowly at first, as it had many thanks to give. But it did not pause, and within a minute it had left the room.
((Exit~ if you were part of the mision AT ALL just assume Mal thanked you, haha.))

"Oye!" Roch said, looking at the others still there. "What's the name of the naked brat?" he demanded. "Does anyone know?"
"I will go try my new toy!" Terra said, only to be grabbed by Roch.
"Forget it, I'll get his name later," he muttered, hauling his little sister away. She needed cleaned up and healed--even if she didn't notice it herself. "You lil brat, I oughta put you over my jackin' knee--bein' an infuser!" he was heard scolding as they left.
"As if you were not in worse danger, you idiota! Let go, I have a slingshot to play with--"

Canon watched as the other students dispersed around her. Riley absconded with the elf, Malodore following closely behind. The Skark considered following them, but what really appealed to her at the moment was a quick swim in the swamp to warm up and immerse her in FEAR. After all the snow, no matter how fascinating, and an exciting battle, she wanted a little time to rest and think over what happened.
The little ghoul still managed a good scamper as she headed toward her Dorm, considering what she would write down about her research today.
