"Not desirable." No walls coming down, thanks. Or ceilings. Another fellow student came around this time; Oinqa. "Hi." He replied quietly back, green eyes hovering on her for a moment before staring back into the wall. Dumb wall. "Weird indeed. Why is a place like this in the library?" He asked curiously.

It had taken a while for Norvie to regain his senses enough to contain his sad attempt at a cleaning invention, leaving that sort of research to the professionals as he fought back the suds. By the time he glanced around, most everyone had left, hurrying towards something of interest...
Following at the rear of the main gaggle of students, he hesitated at the entrance. He could get in trouble. But everyone else was already... finally, he drew a deep breath and scurried in. Dark holes were not something the rat-creature was particularly worried by, and he could swear he smelled a trail to follow- at least until he hit the dead end.

After the whole... slime thing, Rengath was more than happy to go do something else. Even if that something else was investigating where that trail of... something lead. Even as the ghouls went down, Rengath hung back for a while but soon enough wary curiosity won out, and the demon went below after the others.

A dead end and he'd turned back to try another path. Already, he was slightly confused. Thankfully, his second choice did not seem so bad.

There! Up ahead! He could swear he heard voices... keep your head and tail high, boy, he'd soon see what all the commotion was about... there was definitely SOMETHING up ahead... under the hush whispers of creeping students, something almost lyrical. Focus. The important thing here was exploration and discovery.

Keeping on the path he was on, Rengath groaned as one of his horns caught onto something for a quick moment. If he could, he would have carved them down but... a demon was supposed to let them grow after all.

Rengath was starting to hate the underground again. This was why he preferred open air fires and the like. Nothing for his horns to bump into. The next turn was good however, as he found himself in a much more open area

Exploring
Was this where everybody had wandered off to?
It was quite obvious when Cricket appeared, if only from the glow of her body. She had followed mostly the sounds of other snooping students, rather than the trail of blood, her arms crossed as she wandered further and further into the wing of forbidden books.
She almost wanted to stop and read a few of them. Maybe afterwards she would find somewhere nice and dark to- Heyyyy! that little tunnel everybody was going into seemed nice and dark. Any wandering adults wouldn't spot her glowing body in there, for certain.
Picking a volume called 'Taboo Practice: Forbidden FEARhealing' off of a shelf, she was more than happy to crawl into the space after the other students. However, it was mostly because while walking further in she was looking at that book she had in her hands, flipping through the pages instead of watching where she was going.

The voices were getting louder now, he was almost upon the other students. He really hoped there was some sort of logical explanation for why people had neglected their duties to clean the fairgrounds. The place was still a mess.

The type of experimentation outlined in the book was almost delicious - and she kind of wanted to try some of it. Mostly the grosser things that nobody would dare try on another denizen.
But oh man.
It sounded awesome. It was surprising how well she could navigate while engrossed in reading.

It must have been an echo in the chamber, but Norvie didn't notice the dead end until he had crashed into it.
A short scramble in the darkness for his glasses later, he scurried off the way he came, listening a bit more carefully this time.

Concentration was a key, apparently. Rounding about a turn in the path, he nearly stumbled on the gaggle of students all trying to figure out what to do next, skidding to a hault just before he collided with a familiar figure. "M-moira! Ah! What is everyone DOING down here? We should be back-" He cleared his throat, straightening his coat, and prayed she hadn't spotted his travesty of a booth nor the train crash of his clean up attempt.
