The battle had been truly and completely won. Victoria would be able to move on from here; but perhaps not without a bonus prize of sorts. Resting now at the girl's feet was the Nidoran's broken barb. A useless item for the moment, but if she could not find a use for it, perhaps someone else would be willing to buy it off her.

			            [RAVEN CAPTURED AN ONIX!]
 [Jingle~!]
Fable continued to stare at the place the Onix had been for several moments after it's capture. The Charmander's arms hung limp at his sides, his jaw slack. What had just happened? Did Raven just...

The reptile found himself looking to his trainer for an explanation.

"There is a long road ahead of we whom seek strength Fable..." Raven spoke quite calmly as he passed his first Pokemon and reached for the second "...It is a path fraught with danger, and we will need many strong companions. No man is a battalion, no duo an army..." The boy stated as if teaching some sort of lesson, picking up the Pokeball off the ground "...only united can nothing stand in our way."

For a moment further Fable remained silent, then nodded. That sounded like a good explanation. Sage on a mountain good. True he didn't fully understand it; but clearly it hadn't been due to lack of belief in his ability to win. That was all that really mattered to him.

Raven clipped the Pokeball belonging to the Onix upon his belt, then un-clipped Fables. Wordlessly he recalled the Charmander. Once both balls were secure on his belt he continued forward on his path through the cavern...

Victoria didn't even notice the item at first as she simply watches the strain expression on her pokemon's face. She had grown stronger, but at what cost. The girl wasn't happy ...not at all as she lift her shirt carefully while trying not to displace her pokemon too much. Getting the item from under there, she would start to spray the Emolga down. Watching as those wounds would heal .....but for the moment the pokemon would stay asleep ...as Victoria recalled her. The danger was pass, but she wasn't done yet ...as she stood up and threw the bottle to the side.
She would have no need for it ...as she notices the barb then. A little trophy from this match as she walks over to the Nidoran f with the weapon in her hand. Kicking the pokemon over so that her throat was exposed, her eyes seemed to glow violet with her wicked intention. Afterall, she had said she would kill her, and without a second thought she plunge it into the pokemon's throat as far as she could get it .....before ripping it out.

This Nidoran wouldn't trouble anyone anymore.

She thought as she kicked the body once ...the feeling of the entire area shaking made her quickly put one hand against the side. The other hand places the bloody barb into her pocket. She would continue onwards from here, and if any other pokemon got into her way ...well ...she could add as many bodies as necessary to achieve her goal.

Her rage still wasn't burn out as she walks forward.

The Cranidos had the two attacks come at her. The first would miss as the poison sting would actually hit as she raised her head upwards. Her roar of anger was clear as she actually pushes off with her powerful legs as she aims her headbutt this time against the only one that managed to hit. Her skull threatening to smash in what little brain the Gligar might have left as it seemed that though this pokemon wasn't a flyer it could jump awfully high.

Though it would seem that one thing was clear ...Raven wouldn't find the journey an easy one as something burst free of the wall to his left. A creature that was a combination of darkness and metal skids to an halt .....as it's eyes scan in the distances. It had felt the presences of darkness in the cavern and then ...a spark of life had been extingushed. It knew somehow without it being seen nor said that the death hadn't been a fair one, that it had been unnecessary and as it's eyes locked on Raven it blade would be shaved down the side of the rocks it had come through.
It should have known, such darkness can only come from the heart of a human. The extension of the tunnels and how the ground had been leveled in some places like the metal pokemon know that this area's guardian had been lost.

His rage building even further at this.

This wasn't how things were suppose to be as he turns towards Raven with the intent of making him pay for this injustice.

 "Dammit."

She growled as she punches the wall. Her anger just wasn't going away fast enough for her ....as she found her vision still tint in red. Yes, she had killed the Nidoran, but it hadn't been enough for her. She wanted something more ...and she couldn't grasp it now.

 Overwhelming victory.

It made her snarl at the thought as she tries to use logic to calm herself. Her eyes darting around the area, the light from the magnemite made it much easier.

She could see sign that they were reaching the end.

Though the cavern was still a strange one with a clock face on the ceiling and pieces of what seemed to be a plane jutting out of the ground and the walls themselves seeming to shift from ares that were hot and area that were cold. The girl actually seeing lava on one spot and ice on the other as she choose the path that was safest between them.

Though the rage returned as she made her way through. The heat and cool was stiffing and for some reason that only brought her back to what had happen before ...the frustration. The one pokemon she had met had almost killed her Emolga and she hadn't managed to catch anything yet. This wasn't good, but then again ...that was only her second objective ...her first was the find Amber. Considering as strange as this place is she hadn't seen any trees
....so there was a chance she would fail there as well.

Her breathe came out in puffs at that thought, and she had to be careful as she found a place to pound her hands against the side of the wall. She wanted to kill them ...she wanted to kill them all.

Her eyes saw the wall, but her mind saw only the past and the blood. Those laughing faces, those taunting voices, and the fact that she was so helpless. She wanted to kill them all.

It took a moment for the taturm to finally play itself out enough to let her continue forward. She should have stabbed that Nidoran some more.

Raven faintly quirked a brow upon the Pawniard's arrival. The sudden appearance of the Pokemon was surprising to say the least. Indeed it had managed to catch him off guard while he'd begun pondering a name for the Onix...a fact he would need to reprimand himself for at a latter date.
Failings aside, the Pawniard's message was clear. Body language spoke volumes for the Pokemon; especially when every word pertained to battle. "I know not your reasons for challenging me..." He began, his words calm "...but if you believe your reasons justified I will not deny you." Reaching to his side, the boy pulled free Fable's ball and tossed it into the air.

A flash of light shone in the otherwise dark cavern, and the Charmander battered and scarred appeared in front of Raven. Fable looked around briefly. It was difficult to keep track of time inside a PokeBall, but he was fairly certain he'd only been recalled a few moments ago...

...indeed, he could still see the damage caused by their new companion. Then his eyes fell and locked upon the Pawniard. So this was to be his new opponent. Very well. Whatever the reason for the conflict he would fight with all he had...

The Charmander's eyes narrowed as he adjusted his stance. He was all but daring the Pawniard to make the first move.

  Starter Pokemon: Charmander [M]
Name & Level: Fable, Lv 3
 [Temperament] Quiet
Bio: Raven first met Fable during his time living on the streets, finding the fire-tailed reptile in one of hundreds of alleys he'd been in. Battered, beaten, and bloodied, it was clear the Charmander had seen it's fair share of battles...and lost every single one. He bit Raven only five seconds after their initial encounter. Fable had lost all trust in humanity. Raven was never fully aware of the details, but the Charmander's former trainer had been abusive. He'd placed him in battles with impossible odds, expecting him to combat and defeat opponent after opponent with little to no rest...and when he lost, it was his trainer whom would personally add to the reptiles injuries. Finally tired of wasting his time on "some worthless newt" his trainer had abandoned him in the dirtiest alleyway he could find and just left him there. The boy hadn't even given him a name...at least not one he cared to repeat.

For days after that first encounter Raven returned to the alley, usually meeting with the same result; yet still he kept coming, sometimes he even brought food. It was generally scraps most likely out of the garbage, but it was food none the less. One day the Charmander finally asked why the child kept returning...not with words of course, but with his eyes. The curiosity at the boy's actions were clear in the reptiles gaze. Raven had said he saw a fire in Fables eyes that day when they first met, the desire to become truly powerful. More time passed after that, but the only thing which mattered after that point was the outcome. Even without a Pokeball the Charmander decided to follow the boy from that day forward, even earning the name Fable in the process. Raven would speak of spending the reward money on new clothes and a bath, but what was consistently leave out was the purchase of a single Pokeball. There was no need. Even without it, Fable would follow his trainer to the depths of hell and back.

It would be the payday alone that hit and it was the only reason that the Gligar wasn't dead right then as the pokemon lands heavily. It's breathe coming out in puffs ..as long as the three worked as a united front it was impossible to defeat them, but, they weren't the only creatures that could work together. A smirk was on her face as she landed and she saw an familiar sight. The fight had attracted other of it's kind as another Cranidos this one ...male stepped out the foliage. Though Cranidos are predatory creatures, they were never the sort that hunt alone ....as it's partner would with's tail swinging would hunker down in defense along side it's partner.

This battle was quite quickly turning into a double battle, but it was still three on two. It could possible become worst as the the first and second smiles at each other.

This could easily turn into a pack.

 Cranidos joins the battle.

Though the pokemon was mad the boy's words stopped her for a moment. He didn't understand this attack, how could he do something so wicked and not understand as she locks eyes with the taunt Charmander.
A child, but a child that could understand her nonetheless as she would streak forwards to attack. She wouldn't give him the room to make up a lie for she had found in the heat of battle that one tends to speak the truth when their back is against the wall. Thus she needed the truth as she declares as her blade came out to straight at the Charmander's underbelly.

 "Pawn ...iard ..awn."

((Tell me why have you spilt blood here?))

The pokemon demanded as it charges at him with a downward slash that would do much more than scratch if she managed to catch the Charmander.

The abrupt sound of a sharp crack would reach the girl's ears as she attempted to clear her head. Small specks of dirt and rubble would fall from the ceiling to clatter against the floor below; then all at once a section of the cavern's roof crumbled. Mixed in with the heavy crash of the stone was the ringing sound of metal striking against rock.
When the dust cleared the girl would find a Pawniard starring at her from up ahead. Not only one Pawniard had felt the darkened presence...they all had; this one it would seem, was lucky enough to find the source however.

The Pawniard moved forward wordlessly. He could practically taste the malice in the air around the girl. There was no doubt this was the perpetrator of so heinous a crime. His eyes narrowed upon her, his arm thrusting forward in challenge. She would yet pay for her crimes.

">We haven't<" Fable responded smoothly and easily. It wasn't technically ally, the Durant they'd fought at the entrance had ignited so quickly he couldn't imagine any blood had managed to actually spill. Other then that the Charmander had witnessed no deaths; and he doubted Raven had seen any either.
Rather then charging to meet his adversary, the Charmander planted his feet against the stone and held his ground. Tail lashing to one side, Fable brought his arm back and immersed it in the flame. There was no need to chase down an opponent whom was coming right at him.

Thrusting his small fist forward, intend on meeting the Pawniard's attack with Fire Punch!

The girl jumped back in a mix of fear and terror. She had though that the entire ceiling was going to collapse in on her, but as it stops and she see through the dust her opponent ...a smile crossed her lips. Darkness would radiate with darkness as the girl smiled. She wanted this one ...though it would take time to train it to be useful, but she wanted it. Oh how she wanted it ...as she reaches for Aella's pokeball on her belt and actually shoots past it to touch an empty pokeball. She took it in one hand and and rolled in her palm, but what sort of moves did it have? Is it strong, is it weak?

Those question ran in her mind as she lick her lips. Should she take a gamble or should she call forth her own pokemon to battle in to be sure. She wasn't sure what she wanted to do, but she did knew this much ...Aella wasn't much of a match for this one.

Her moves would only hit for half as she finally decided on pulling the second pokeball free ...releasing the Emolga. She would let this first throw decide it all ...if she could capture it on the first throw then they would keep it, but if she failed ...the would destroy.

Oh the girl hoped for the capture, she would make it stronger. But if she failed, well if she couldn't have it ...then it might as well be dead.

Aella appeared again as she seemed to be healed but her mind was still fuzzy from the last experience. Her tail bobbing as she tries to sort everything out. Though the pokemon wouldn't even be given a chance as the pokeball was thrown over her head.

Those blades would cut through the pokemon's skin as easily as butter as that flaming attack would stop her from sinking it as deeply as it should have gone. No vital organs would be hit, but that type of attack would leave a bloody mess as she jumps backwards and cross her two swords in a defensive stance.

~You tell a half truth, you had to think about it. Your answer was smooth, but your attack lacked because of it.~

She declares automatically as she kept her eyes on her opponent.

~So let me reword it, have you killed a defenseless pokemon? And what have you done with this area guardian, he has recently been here?~

Both questions were asked one after the other as she waited for his attack. His display of proof.

::Jasmine looked on as the new figure approached... a second Cranidos? She'd have to take measure... he certainly didn't seem to be the joking type by that serious expression... a mate perhaps? A leader of their clutch?::

::One thing was sure, the odds were not looking on their side, one was equal to both her pokémon levels... and now it had just doubled up::

::They had a brief opening to make their move, they needed it to be a good one as she swiped her hand forward, pointing to delegate their moves as she struggled her way up to her feet once more:: Lindbergh... Claudandas?

::The feline was at her side instantly:: [Ready.]

::The Gligar trailing alongside:: [As if I had a choice...]

::There the three stood side by side, the situation had been re-established, their battle ground had drawn a new line... and they needed to act while they had a last opportunity::

::It happened all at once, as Jasmine sliced her hand to the side, two purple blurs, one light, one dark, streaked out, claws and stingers at the ready, taking their move upon their chosen target!::

::The female Cranidos would barely see them, so engrossed with the new companion that had appeared, but now, both Claudandas' scratch and Lindbergh's poison sting sliced at her opposing sides as they rushed by, looking for that palpable hit, that opportunity to stop her before the battle could progress any further!::
